Hello, I don't know what i am doing wrong. Please see attached files. Thanks,Sam
Is it possible to create or redefine a simplified representation in Creo Parametric WITHOUT causing it to activate? I often will make adjustments to an arbitrary simp rep while the model is open in an empty rep. However, the only options I see are "Open", "Cancel", and "Apply". Pressing Open is the only way I know to actually save the changes made, which forces the simp rep to become the active rep in the model. This can be extremely frustrating when working with a massive assembly.I would love to see this screen have options like "Save", "Apply", and "Cancel" instead of the current set.
Hello! Is there a way to alphabetically sort the list of layers when importing an XML into creo cabling? See the picture below for an example. We use a lot of layers, so it's difficult to sort through a long list like this to find the proper one. Thanks!
I want to rotate this values as vertical. Could you anyone help me ?
Is it possible to pattern a hole on a surface that is cone shaped, the direction of the holes must be normal to the surface. In solidworks this was very easy using a 3D sketch
Hi everyone, I'm trying to run a simple Java application. I have jdk 17. I checked Creo Object Toolkit Java in the installation. I'm struggling to find what to put into my classpath/ if I need one at all. The requred .jar files I've seen mentioned online don't seem to be in my install, but those pertained to older versions. Any tips would help! Thanks,Adam
hello experts I am asif from Karachi, Pakistan i have a question about the Creo post processor. How to add Pivot distance in dual rotary table 5-axis machine with PTC Creo. and Swivel-Type (Head-Head) 5-Axis CNC in creo post processor. Please check the pic of the machine configuration. i want to update the post processor for both machines. Please guide. regards Asif
The thread representation disappears when I turn off the display of hidden lines in the drawing. Are there any other options? Creo 11
...not to be forgotten. It comes from the Irish MO of 1990, Paper 2, Problem 9, and, as a student-friendly problem, is one of the most difficult I've ever encountered:Let t be a real number, and let (a with index n) a_n = 2*cos(t/(2^n)), n=1, 2, ...Let b_n be the product a_1*a_2*...*a_n. Simplify the term b_n so that it does not contain a product of n factors, and prove lim(n-->00) b_n = (2*cos(t)+1)/3 .
I have a loop with two conditions in it, none of which are satisfied.I created a variable 'a' and defined it as zero, and inside the loop, I made it change 'a' to 1 if the If conditions are satisfied. as shown in the figure below, a is still zero after the loop, meaning the conditions are not satisfied. However, the vector y4 is modified even though it only has equations to modify it inside the same conditions for variable 'a', which is unchanged:what am I missing here?I attached the file. Using Mathcad Prime 9.0.00thanks
I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.3.0The Preview File button has disappeared from the File Open window. I use this feature all the time. Please advise how to restore the function. I have searched the config options but no luck. Thanks.
Translator Hi,I am facing below error. I am reading a .txt file with some data points, and I want to make/have a function like f(x) interpolating teste data points. Prime 10 file attached.
The Measurement Tool... (Analysis->Measure)... was changed was back around Creo 2.0 or 3.0 to a "new, improved" GUI. Back then I complained loudly to the PLM for modeling tools and he was annoyed that I thought the new tool was inferior to the old one. In any decently sized assembly, I find the tool to be nearly useless. Tips like "pre-selecting the first reference" help but the should software function in a reasonable time span nonetheless. PTC says it "works to specifications" but taking 4 minutes to measure between two holes cannot possibly be "intended functionality". What are your thoughts? Any tips for improvement? Or do we all just avoid measurements now?
Hi allI'm at the start of the free trial period. i have the converter installed and have tried to convert files. The converter acts like the files are converted and sent to the source folder but the conversion does not take place. I cant access other support so hope you can help - thanks
Bonjour, Je rencontre un probleme lors de la conversion de ce fichier, La matrice T existe bel et bien mais mathcad dis le contraire
Hi,How to take the discrete fourier transform of this signal and plot the magnitude vs frequency and phase vs frequency by using Mathcad Prime dft built in function? Suppose that we will sample this signal at 4 time per second (fs=4Hz) from t=0 to t=3/4. I have tried something manually, but how to show phase plot I do not know right now... Prime 10 file attached.
Hello, I have a Mathcad sheet which I am working on to find the factor of safety for block walls. The sheet will calculate and spit out a text "Stable", "Unstable" based on a comparison , which I have provided in the logic. What I request to have is a Mathcad prompt, that checks the array FS_OT to see how many "UNstable" are there. If so, it should send out a message saying "UnStable" and tell me at which level of the layer of blocks are unstable. Please help on this as I am not that pro level. My Mathcad version is Prime 10. This is not an error issue so no screenshots were provided. Thank you very much
Hi, I am sure that something I do not do correctly, I believe there with that condition of an=0. Prime 10 file attached.
I've got a part with two dims that I've renamed from their original symbolic names (example: d123) to C and D. How do I find their original dimension names if I've forgotten what they were?
When rendering images with the Render Studio package that comes with Creo 10. Bump maps, which I use all of the time to represent things like fiber wrapping on tanks, iso grid structure, weld beads, etc., are not being scaled per my inputs. This is especially useful for representing threads. I have a basic raster image for threads that I apply to a threaded surface, and just scale it along the revolve axis as needed to represent the number of threads that should be there as a function of the cylinder length, and the thread pitch. Thread bump maps are being rendered, but with a default scale of 1 along the rotational axis. These results are whether I use a parametric or cylindrical mapping for those textures. I don’t know if there is a setting I missed, a configuration value I overlooked, or what.
Hello, is there a method to know the file size in Mb of an assembly or part in creo or in windchill? Tank you, Michele Barile
Hello, I'm having a hard time understanding units in Mathcad. I'm trying to plot an axial capacity vs depth after integrating the Axial_cap function with different depth. It works without when i have no units, but it shows an error : "These units are not compatible". I don't understand what's the problem.
I am trying to add onto a part which opened up from an assembly. I make the thing I was trying to make but the save buttons are all greyed out. Not sure how to fix this any help would be appreciated. The model also had a validation import failure, but I just clicked ignore. Idk if that's the cause but it still won't let me save. Thanks!
I am working on generating a imperial drawing for a part that was designed using metric standards and the Model properties use mm as the base unit. The drawing is using dual dimensioning SECONDARY to allow me to dimension in inches. However the part also has several threaded holes that have hole notes generated. This means that the hole and thread depth are using the mm from the model when bringing it into the drawing (so instead of 1in depth the note looks to appear as if it had 25.4in depth). Is there a way to make the hole note that gets pulled in to use the secondary dimensions of inches that the drawing is using so that it matches the units of the drawing without setting the model properties to inches and updating the note in the model.
