Hey I'm a student and at school we use mathcad 14. I decided to download the free mathcad express prime to try and be able to work on my homework and class problems outside of school. I've tried typing in exactly what we did in class (which worked perfectly) into the free mathcad express and nothing seems to be working and can't figure out how to type some of the functions into the program. Here is the part that was giving me the most trouble. the left is what we did in class (on a word document) and right is my attempt at inputting it into mathcad express.Thanks

I am going to serve as teacher assistant in a construcion course at my universty were i will be grading beam design assigment. I have calculated everything in mathcad 15 so far. The students will have to determine the height of the beam by fullfilling a criteria.I would like to put my mathcad file on the internet were the students can select the diffrent parameters each student have. mostly diffrent material propertiesand there they can see if they have choosen a height that fullfilles the specifed criterita. Basiclly I want the student to choose their parameters from a dropdown menu or something and then the calculations will be performed based on that andthis i want them to be able to do on a webpage. is that possible?

Sometimes when trying to select a portion of a big equation using the Shift key, you overshoot your mark and have to cycle through it all over again.How about a SHIFT-SPACE to go backwards??  Can PTC put this in?

I work with WIN7, WIN XP, and WIN 2k. I use MCD-15, -11, -2001.In all cases I find an error when calculating a definite integral. The error looks as follows: the location of a constant "a" inside the integral leads to a different solution compared with the case with the consant "a" outside the integral. This behaviour hurts the basic mathematical relationship in (1):The result of a simple calculation approach can be studied in the following graph (solid = wrong = left side of (1)n; dotted = right = right side of (1):In most cases it won't be possible to move constants outside the integral, hence, there should be a bug correction asap!

Hey,with nice help in the community i finally made the Loop to calculate LOadcases and exporting to excel.Now i would an automatical saving process after every step i.For further documentation purposes i need a mathcad file for every step i.In the saved Mathcad File all values should appear for the actual load case.Example:In the saved Mathcad File i needbut with the inserted i.....Result of Load Case 1 as value (i=1):nexto the Result Vector i need the "OK NOK" condition weather is true or notHopefully there is anybody which can help me.

Hi, is it possible to call some built-in matlab functions (eg, Laplace and Invese laplace transform functions) to solve various systems of differential equations via Laplace within Mathcad? The equivalent functions in Mathcad are too complicated to solve differential equations. I am working on a long Pharmacokinetics project in Mathcad that requires solving differential equations via Laplace Transforms.Any help is very much appreciated.

I have now the problem that i need a certain calculation for every loadcase and not just a addition of 2 vectors.Can you guys say me how i can say that i need a calculation with the parameters for each loadcase?Here for example i need to write the greater testpressure to excelI think i used the wrong calculation operation. I want to use every parameter as value for the calculation for every loadcase itself.Thx 😃

Hello!   I'm trying to solve some equations using command odesolve and all i get is error "too few initial conditions". After using ctrl+f9 it shows, that the problem is caused by constants K. I believe all "start" conditions are included. The document is about chemical reactions and i want to represent on a graph the change of the concentration of the elements in time. I'm using Mathcad 14.   Any ideas of what may be causing this problem?

To allI am playing around with plotting a set of (Y,Z) data.For each point I am calculating the angle: atan(Z/Y) and a magnitudeI have managed to create some plots (see attached) but none of them are very "good" because the data is "swamped" by the few high values. I had in mind some kind of polar plotQ1: Could any make any suggestions on way(s) of improving the plots?Q2: Is there a way of limiting the polar plot to 0-90deg?Any suggestions welcome...ThanksRegardsJXB

First I only have MathCad Express Prime 3.1Created a spreadheet that gives me the X,Y points for my spiralCopied the X,Y outputs from Excel into MathCADHow do I create a Datum Point Feature using this X,Y output from MathCAD?  When I click on import while in the Datum Point (cylindrical) feature it only allows things like pts file.'ll keep plugging away at it but if anyone has ideas that would be excellentSteve Campbell

Hey, i could manage the automatic calculation of a routine for all load cases. But i would need help with the condition which should apply for all calculated cases. THe Reult NOK OK should the given nexto the calculated routine (load case).After that i want to make a writeexcel to transfer it into Excel.How can i say in readexcel which columns on which sheet i want to import.I have so far this fileTHx guys 😃
