Mathcad

This feels like the right time to publish some of the work I've been doing, on and off, over the past year.Prime Express is the free for life edition of Prime. And because it's free, it's crippled with respect to the full edition that is itself more or less crippled with respect to Mathcad. Numerous functions in Prime are declared 'Premium' functions, and they will not work in the Express edition of Prime. Among those are some very sophisticated functions like rkfixed (numeric approximation of differential equation) and polyroots (find roots of a polynomial), dft and idft (forward and reverse discrete Fourier transform), but also ordinary functions like Re and Im (real and imaginary part of a complex value), mean and stdev (of an array or matrix). Hej Guys, i am new to Mathcad and not very familar with it i have a worksheet with some functions and no i wanted to use the solveblock to find some solutions for me but i have no idea how i should write it down.i added  the worksheet with the functions. i have a function with two Variables that where i want to find those two variables when i only know one result of the two out put results that the funcions brings me.the constraints i have and the expted result i put to the worksheet. maybe someone can give me some advise on how the solveblock need to be set up for a function with two variables? Kind RegardsMarkus

Hello I have a written two programs which are very similar. However, when I am running the second program, I get an error message saying "these values cannot be compared".  Unfortunately, I can't figure out what is wrong with the script. How can I solve this error? Thank you for your support!   

Hello! I am having an issue with Mathcad solve block. This is for an Electrical Engineering class, and I am trying to solve a system of 6 equations to find 6 unknown values. I have re-formatted my equations and the solve block many times and cannot tell what I am doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, previously I asked how to plot many arrays in one plot and I got my answer. The same program takes longer in mathcad prime10 than mathcad14. This program uses arrays in particular. I’m currently working on a worksheet in Mathcad Prime 9.0 where I’m evaluating several functions that generate around 100 rows of values each. I have three different functions, and I need to send these values into an Excel file so that they are neatly aligned across columns. Specifically:I’d like the results from the first function, f(a), to begin at cell A1 in Excel.The results from the second function, f(b)  should start at cell B1Similarly, the results from the third function, f(c), should start at cell C1.I’m trying to figure out how I can use the "Write Excel" function in Mathcad to send these values across the respective columns in the same sheet.Due to the nature of the data, I’m unable to share my worksheet directly, but I would greatly appreciate a sample example or any guidance that can help me achieve thisCheers,Frank

Hi there , I want to remove NaN from a nested matrix so I can find the average . Since it is no longer possible to install MATHCAD 15 on  my new PC, even though I have a perpetual license, I am looking for a software that is up to its standard. I was offered MAPLE FOLW...What do you think?

Few Suggestions1. Custom page size not available. This is important because for display of the final output for custom size cell device or iPad etc a teacher need that.2. Certain drawing elements are not available like arrows, rectangle, circles, line, dotted line, etc which are necessary for final formatting of the document. These elements are needed to highlight the certain area which is more important.3. Two files cannot be displayed separately, like I am working on file and looking at some other file at 2nd extended display.4. Certain fonts are not available, although installed in the computer like Aptos.5. I would like to reinstall Mathcad 14.0 M020 on Windows XP in Oracle VirtualBox.During the installation I first enter the product code: JW140906EA7617-V4WC-W9DPWhen starting, Mathcad wants to have a licence file.When I select the existing file, I get an OK at first.But when I start Mathcad again I get:The licence you have requested contains an errer.When I try to activate Mathcad directly over the Internet I get:The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.Can you please help me.and send a new licence file.

I have 15 executable MathCad Prime 8 calculations that I’d like to run from a Windows Command batch file. How do I do this?

HiIs there a function in MathCad Prime (latest version or 9) where you can put a form field in formulas? I'll give an example:Variable = [form field] mm This is because I've noticed that when I make spreadsheets and make different calculation formulas, e.g.: k = x mm * y mmso often someone accidentally removes the units, and it then completely messes up all the calculations. So I'm looking for something similar to Excel, where each value is in its own cell. If there was a form field in the formula, other parts wouldn't be easily editable.
