I have a matrix Z that represents the z coordinate of a surface to find the bending moment. x and y coordinates must cover a plate of 6.82m and they have to be divided in 10 places (same as z matrix), which means every 0.682m. How to make the 3D representation (surface) for those values.Attached you can find the values for z coordinates.Thanks in advance.

Iam done with creating and testing ModelCHECK configuration files and now I would like to store these files in Windchill and point the MODELCHECK_DIR to this location and do another round of testing with different users globally.Iam not able to figure out how do I add these files to a specific folder in our CAD library in Windchill.Any suggestions appreciated.

We use Pro/Intralink to store our cad data and one of the annoyances that comes up all the time is being asked to check out models when opening. It appears to be random components/assembles within the models, but I have to then select from continue, checkout, or mark read only. Each of those presents it's own problems, but I'd like to understand why this happens. Does anyone have any ideas?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello,I want to implement a custom ThingTemplate in a Java extension that implements "RemoteThingWithTunnelsAndFileTransfer". This template will have several properties and services, and a remote agent will use it to send its data to Thingworx. This seems to be a rather easy task to do, but I can't get it to work properly. Hi,I am trying to solve a parametric equation in matrix form. I have to multiply and evaluate a number of matrices symbolically. I have to calculate a force Nx which can be applied so that failure occurs according to certain criterion.This means I need to solve the matrices and equations in parametric form and obtain the stress matrices in terms of the applied load Nx. I am however not being able to solve the equations symbolically since I get errors like 'the value name must be the name of a function' or ' the array should be compatible'  or 'the variable is undefined, check the label is set correctly'. Please advice how I can proceed.Thanks

  I have been asked to delete version 5.1 of 3527000.  It has one instance, 3527009 1.8.   Given the 3 delete options,  it seems impossible.   Deletes all iterations of the given rev.  Problem is it cant delete the last iteration-total deletion of part-( the instance is rev 1, it would be the last)B.  deletes all revs and iterations – wipes everything  we don’t want that  Delete just the last iteration, but seems how its 5.1, it would be deleting the last REV.  This option  doesn’t allow the last iteration of a rev to be deleted.            

I am working on an Extension Package and had some questions. Rather than test all of these myself, perhaps someone knows? If not, I will test and post results here. Maybe this can be turned into a Q&A at some point.I've numbered my questions so that readers and responders can quickly identify the question being answered.(1) - AnsweredIf I build a package as version 1.0 and then again as 1.1, can I install 1.1 over top of 1.0 without uninstalling?Am I protected from Installing 1.0 over top of 1.1? Having to uninstall first would be really bad news.Assuming I can install v1.1 over v1.0...(2)Lets say v1.0 has a ThingTemplate in it called MyThingTemplate and it's defined purely as XML metadata.Now v1.1 has created a new ThingPackage and defined MyThingTemplate using that new package, using the now very thin XML.Can I install v1.1 over top of v1.0 in this case? I continuously get an error message while using Creo 3.0 that states the following: "The Creo Agent did not initialize correctly.  Working in this configuration is not supported because some functionality such as Windchill operations and embedded browser actions will not work.  It is recommended that you exit this session and check the Creo Agent Installation."After I close that message, my computer freezes up completely.  Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?  Thanks!

Dear community,I'm a bloody newby for the PSM and trying to install the PSM 5.0 on a Windows Server(R) 2012 R2 but I'm not able to do this.My user is configured as an administrator. I've downloaded the installer files and trying to start the installer from the windows explorer with the error:"Windows can't openzhis type of file (.jar)"How could I execute a .jar file as an administrator?In the docu there is written about a dynatrace agent and -client. Hi guys,Does anyone know what is the limitation of the H2 database? Like if it will start to have performance issue when the data storage is greater than 500 GB for example?Additionally, is there any concern for using H2 for Model Storage and DSE for data storage in the production environment for 500+ connected devices and 1TB+ data storage?Thank you.

I have just finished installing CREO 3.0 64-bit to my mac parallels desktop(windows 8.1) using IE as my browser, and when I try to open any of the programs, an error message pops up stating "License request failed for feature". if I click "ok", it just shut down.I've already tried the license i got from email, but it still doesn't work.If I try to login, I just can't make it. But i am very sure that i've typed in the correct user name and password.

Hi all,working with Windchill 11.0, FRACAS, trying to get some kind of "Workflow" done, but as complete newbie I hit a wall. We have two user groups for web access (Incoming, Production). The idea was as follows:Production user enters incident (user group production) through a Production Incident Form -> last step is to push a button and to transfer it to Incoming Dep. (or any other department) (calculation: assign entry to user group "Incoming Inspection").Incoming user gets now the new entry displayed in the Incoming Incidents Table and can create a Fault Report based on the data. -> Trick: The Production user should only see production entries, the incoming user only Incoming entries.If I am logged in as Admin, the switching of assignments works. But If I am logged in as Production user, it appears that I can not change the user group. This might be a misunderstanding, but I assumed that workflow is controlled by assigning tasks to user groups  (Task A, User group 1 start

As it can be seen in the attached picture, I need to find an equation to fit this curve if I have only the data from the picture. Since this is a graphical method, I can't have a high accuracy but I need a generalized function that would give me the value for every point. As you can see, the values in Y-axis are not linear so I have no idea about the type of the function.

I have seen articles from WF5 stating that you can pull a symbol into a table cell or a not by using the &sym(<symbol path/name>) construct. I have a user that is experiencing some issues that I don't see logged in as another user. I don't know if he has changed any of his Windchill Preferences? Is there a easy way for me to reset all preferences to default, not the site ones just his user ones.

Workflow gets terminated when the user clicks on complete task while keeping the object is in checked out state. How to avoid the workflow termination? Would like to give a warning message to the user that object is in checked out state and previous activity should work. Please let me know how to do this.Thanks in advance

I'm using Mathcad prime 3.1 express at my school for electrical calculations.And I am constantly switching between the taps  "MATH" and "Math formatting"It's really a hazzle..Things i would like to change isGeneral should be Decimal or Engineering, Decimal values i need to be (5) not (3) as it is now.and finally complex numbers should be displayed in polar instead.I find myself switching the tab almost after each line of writing, and for one assignment i usually fill 2-3 A4 pages.so it's really getting to me that i can't figure out how to set these things so they STAY that way be default.Anyone have an idea on how to change the standard values under math formatting?
