Hello,Can we change the PostgreSQL server that is used by the default persistence provider?I want all the data (including thing_model etc..) be stored in the remote postgres.I have installed a postgres in the remote server and create persistence provider that use it.This persistence provider worked and the data of Value Streams or Data Tables were stored in the remote server.However, the model data I created were still stored in the local postgres (ThingworxPersistenceProvider),although I had set remote persistence provider as 'Default Persistence Provider.'ThingworxPersistenceProvider is a system object and its "JDBC URL" is fixed to "localhost:5432."Are there any way to change this?If we can, how to and when can we do it?Thanks,Shunsuke Yamabe.

One of the most effective ways of debugging services created in Composer is to utilize the Thingworx Monitor.  However, it seems that only logger.warn and logger.error actually log text to the monitor. Is there something special I should know when using logger.info and logger.debug snippets to have them log to monitor thread?Thank you ahead of time!

Rather than generating an alert based on a threshold value I set via the 'Managed Alerts' UI of Composer I want to generate an alert from a subscription or service that I run. I found what appears to be the right service in the snippets, e.g. I have a service that uses the Alerts() service like this:var params = {alertType: "EqualTo" /* STRING */,sourceProperty: "myProperty" /* STRING */,name: "MyAlert" /* STRING */,description: "description for MyAlert" /* STRING */,priority: 3 /* INTEGER */,message: "Message for MyAlert" /* STRING */};me.Alert(params);I have also defined 'MyAlert' via the Managed Alerts' UI of the Composer for 'myProperty'. But when I run the above service it generates no alert. I get a pair of Warning that say 'Unable to publish local event in testThing : Event Alert not found' and 'Unable to publish event in testThing : Event Alert not found'.How does one use the Alert() service to create a new alert on a property as part of service or subscription javascript?

Hi guys,I faced to the problem, there are lines in section which are some kind of utility(coordinate system's axis: 100,0 and 0,-100; diagonal lines of a rectangle).The main issue is all these lines have the same type(sectionEntity->GetSectionEntityType()) as an ordinary line: wfcSEC_ENTITY_2D_LINESo I can't filter them by type.Nevertheless, it's possible to get rid of coordinate system's axis: 100,0 and 0,-100.But I can't imagine how to remove diagonal lines of a rectangle and same sort of lines, which coordinates are dynamic from Section to Section.May it be, I did miss something?May be there is a simple solution to clean out all these utility lines?PS:I've attached what I have now in JSON file for the section with only two arcs.Thanks,ArtemThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Critical Patch Set Bundle 17 available date?

I have a script that returns an infotable of dates (to drive a report). I want to provide three buttons to trigger different results from this script. for yesterday, last week and last 30 days.The script works by setting the end date to yesterday and the start date to yesterday -0, -7 or -30 doys.What I want to do is assiocate the number with each of the buttons, which when clicked will trigger the script but the value 0, 7, 30 would be avilable in the script.I've tried setting the number in the buttons contextid but can't see a way to pass this into the script as I can only bind one button to the input parameter. I have also tried binding the button to another script which sets a session parameter (programmatically) but this requires a browser refresh to update the session parameter so it not practical.is there anyway to get the button that triggered a service?

Hi!When i create a DataTable and show the content in a Grid there are some pre-defined fields like Location, Source etc.In some cases i don't want to  show all the columns in a Grid only a set of them. Is there a way to acomplish this in Thingworx?Thanks

Hello everyone!   I had this example on my test and I was unable to solve it so I came here for a help. Well profesor told me that I need to make this DTM1 parallel with FRONT plane and also I have to move extrude 4 (on picture)  with plane without deleting a feature. So any1 have some idea? Hi, please see the attached. Im trying to find multiple x values of my plot for various y values using Given and Find. I'm not sure how to set it up to give me a vector of y values for a vector of x value inputs.Also, is it possible to draw the rectangle on the graph as per my second request.  Thanks for any helpJason

We just ran into a problem where PSM 4 did not alert us that Windchill was not available. Probably because Windchill was up but Apache did not start before hand. Does anyone have a good way of monitoring if Apache goes down? This is all done under Red Hat Linux and we don't usually have access to the root user. The infrastructure team allows us to sudo apachectl start. I don't see any setting in PSM. Thanks in advanced!

Hello,In our mashup we have buttons which turn on/off some devices with html request (services used), some data displayed by LED widgets and map widget with markers which can be selected (changes the data shown). We want to make 2 types of users: the first one can press buttons and turn on/off devices, the second one can only check data on LED widgets and map. We couldn't set it up in that way for the second type of users, with any option we put permissions we got mashup fully working or fully disabled.Are there any possibilities to solve it in such case?

When adding State Formatting to a widget (I'm using a Gauge) you have to specify the "Dependent Field" to use.  I would have expected this to be (or at least default to) the value that the widget is displaying (i.e. the property bound to the widget's Data field) but it doesn't.  It seems to show a list of all the properties of the entity from which the widget gets its value.  This seems slightly unintuitive to me.  Does anyone know the logic behind this?  Am I correct in my assumption of where the list comes from?  If you haven't bound the widget's data, you can't add State Formatting, so that seems to corroborate my assumption.  I think the other reason I'm confused is that once I've chosen a Dependent Field, I would expect that to be shown in the Connections panel - especially if it's not the same as the widget's Data field - but it's not.

Hi @all,now it comes (again) to light that i'm not a programmer or coder...I want to fill a relationship-field with some entries via setRelationShipFieldValue. I have some issue-id's as a comma-seperated list (stringlist). i got some  questions,  if someone would answer them, I would appreciate it very much.well there something called nonlinear programming with constraints and also without them, i've been searching in here how to solve this type of problem but what i found wasn't exactly what i was expecting.for example: if i want to optimise (minimize or minimize o just find a solution that fits) a variable of  a single function, a system of equations or a system of differential equations. How can i make it?  there is a sheet attached  with the different types of problem i mentioned.
