My company is preparing to install the Publishing Engine that came with our installation disk for Arbortext Editor 7.0.What type of hardware (i.e. Internal Network) and software to interface with the hardware is required to support the Publishing Engine?Even though PTC provided me documentation for the Publishing Engine, it did not detail what my company requires to support the Publishing Engine.Thank you,Mike

Dear all,In my previous thread, I asked the question,'What is the reason for 2 different plots when plotted using Square root and polyroot function ?.Mr. Stuart and others told  that it is due to mixing up of signs, so, to avoid the problemhe suggest me to change the Laguerre to companion matrix by right clicking polyroots and the problem was solved.But, In this attached example worksheet, I also changed Laguerre to companion matrix by right clicking polyroots,even then also I am two different plots for polyroots and square root function.Could anyone help me.Thanks.

Hello i trying to make a swept blend between two circles. The second circle centrum is 7 mm down in vertical axes from he other circle. Also the circles are not the same size.I made two circles then made two guide line for the blend but I down really know how to do it. All,I have never searched if this is possible and thought I would ask if anyone else had. The issue: I have a part in an assembly that has thousands of features that takes multiple seconds to highlight whenever my mouse hovers over it. The part encompasses (think exoskeleton) many of the parts in and around it. I need to see it in order to work other parts of the assembly so I can't simply turn it off. Gotta say, I've been using Creo-2 for a week or so now and I'm not impressedMy main beef is the poor quality of the default shading and lighting in Creo compared with Wildfire 4.It's DREADFUL!The colours are washed out and the parts do not reflect highlights nicely as they did with the default shading and lighting in Wildfire 4I loaded the default lighting file from Wldfire 4 into the Creo-2 lighting directory but the result is exactly the sameIs there any way to improve the default lighting and shading settings?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Does anyone know if there is a quick way of changing curves back to thick and thin if they have been converted to single thickness?You can get thick and thin back using F12 but it converts arcs back to ellipses so you have to cut them out again.

Hello Support,When I share a member from one sub-project to another sub-project, the icon at both the sub-project's shared member becomes SHARED HAND symbol similar to Add Shared SubProject.Now for Shared Sub-Project if I see the "view information" menu, I can understand the original Sub-Project location from the shared location.For the Shared Member, "view information" menu output doesn't show the original location from where it was shared. It shows the corresponding project location for both the places [Shared and Source location].Question is how do I find out where is the source location and where is the shared location for a Shared Member?Any clue will help me a lot.Thank you.Regards

Does anyone have an idea why when I am trying to use framework, this happens. The tube is suppose to go the whole length but doesn't. Hello world,Look, I ran an analisys where I had to evaluate with different loads. After a month I had to go back and verify the stresses and deflections, the problem is that I do not how to show the load value is for case 1.for last case it is not a problem, I just check edit and I can see the numeric value, but for prevoius cases the only thing that I can see is the stresees, deflections and so on but the load applied for teh calculation,see file attachedDoes anyone knows how to get it?I appreciate any helpthanks

Hello , I'm a new ptc Créo user. I want to import a dxf file and work on as a sketch. When I import my dxf file , ptc créo tell me this : " You tested too many entities in the draft. When the manager of intentions is active, the treatmentof so much of entities is likely to take much time.You can click on selecting to open under windowand to select the entities to be imported"but I need everything in my dxf. Do you know a method to avoid this problem? ( I already change my DXF into DWG just for see and same problem !) ps : sorry , my bad english

With Creo 2.0 it was possible to have two separate sessions open simultaneously tied to two different windchill workspaces. This functionality is not working within Creo 3.0. When the second session is switched to the second workspace it erases everything in memory of session #1.Did they change this functionality to where you have to use the WF_ROOT and set your cache to different locations now? At my last company I setup what was called a partial AD connection.  Where I just authenticated agents AD.  I don't remember setting up a InfoEngine  to use this.  I am drawing a complete blank on how I did it and it is not in my notes.  Any input and help would be great.  I have read all the current information on the Help and community and still cannot figure it out.

When I do AD integration, the MethodServer reports the following error .So I looked at the source code of  com.infoengine.jndi.JNDIAdapterImpl.class.I found that user authentication information was written into the log file.
