Hi everyone,I met a question, when I use "pdesolve" in mathcad. The failure is listed in the picture as following:It told me that the second-order are not allowed, but I have another successful example from the website, which can be seen in the following picture:In the above successful case, we can see it also contains uxx(x,t), which is second-order derivative. Hello,I'm Having a issue using Shell command in Creo 1.0. i'm not able to shell the product it shows the error  "Highlighted surfaces are too curved to offset by specified value.Recommended actions:    Make a quilt from good surfaces, offset the quilt,make patches over missing surfaces.But i assure you the product can be shelled I Have already done to similar item to this. Can you guys help me shell the component. If not can anyone Explain me how to do the RECOMMENDED actions told by Creo. Usually an insert and mate do not fully constrain a component unless its a screw or some other little revolved part.Any other part will require another constraint and this is really obvious to a human but my Creo always seem to assume that an insert and a mate will be just fine, its not.This will always result in a crooked part and when some other user has assembled in this way the error is not always obvious (until the assembly starts to explode)Is the answer to just turn off the presumptuous assumption tab somewhere?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello,I would like to record a mapkey which allows me to show the file open window and click with mouse pointer in the search bar ("enter characters to dinamically filter displayed content") in the upper right corner of the windows, so that I can type directly the file I want to open:I tried to record it, but it only opens the windows (and If I type, keystrokes appear in the File name bar below.(an alternative to this is to type the filename in the bar below ("File name:") but the unconvienent in this is that you have to remember the exact filename to spot the part (while this is not the case, many times).anyone has a suggestion in order to fix this? Is it possible to set a style definition as a property of a Thing?Alternatively, would a style be able to take number values from Thing properties to customize the colors automatically, rather than defining each thing individually?Thanks!

Hi,currently we are making tests with the newest Arbortext Editor Version 7.0. As you know the toolbar icons in this new release are renewed. The new icons are very nice and we would like to use them. The buttons are defined in the editwindow.xml. Hello PTCers,Very soon I'm going to inherit the administration duties of a new Integrity database linked to our Windchill that is getting set up by a consulting company for us. One particular question I have is on Traces between document/object types. I've been reading up on Traces in the documentation that we have been provided, and I know that to get to them within the Integrity Admin GUI you go to Workflows and Documents/Types/MKS Solution, select Edit Type and go to Properties, and the Trace lines in there are the ones with the name MKS.RQ.trace.<a document type>. However, the documentation that I have and can currently find is a bit light on some specific details that hopefully could be answered here.1) There are document types listed in the Name and often several in the Value for these lines. I have little experience with multiaxis machining and I am struggling with a simple swarf milling. The surface i want to mill is the following:I have tried several sequences. With swarf milling sequence the tool does not seem to follow the surface:I can´t make trajectory sequence work...I have done in the past some nice toolpaths with cut line milling but in this case i can´t get gouge free paths...  Any help would be greatly appreciated..Some cross sections of the part:  

I have create a set of random locations and then at each location I place an object to simualte an image.The delta just makes sure no objects are within 3 pixels of the image edge.I know want to be able to change the locations now to represent the following regular pattern. I believe horizontallt there is a pitch of 8 pixels, and vertically a pitch of 9 pixels with a horiztonal shift of 4 pixels.Thnaks for any helpJason

Hello,i am using mathcad 15. i am not sure why M1(x) and M2(x) yield different results. the term shaded blue is the same in both functions. The second term shaded green, in M2(x) , i just simplified more than the one in M1(x) . So i was expecting to see the same results for M1 and M2. But i am not sure what i am doing wrong. Thank you!

We created a nice panel with all our sponsor logos on it.The images are imported jpeg files for each logo.The issue we are having is when checking in this panel into Windchill, the images do not seem to come along so when other team members open the part on their computers, there are no images on the panel, only blank outlines where the jpeg files were inserted.Does anyone know how to get this to work so anyone can open the robot model and see the jpeg images on the panel?Thanks so much

So I've gone through and have set up my test system and the properties on it to republish out of date items.  So I changed a component that is used in an assembly.  The assembly doesn't start republishing. doesn't watermark the picture on the Details page and does not even register or show up when you Schedule a job to RepublishAllOutOfDateRepresentations.  I am on Windchill M030-CPS09 with the latest adapters which are M032.  Anyone have any ideas of how to get this to work?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Here's another "newbie" question I know. I see a Collection called "ThingPackages" when exporting entities from ThingWorx. However, I don't see anyway to create these entities in Composer.  What is a "Thing Package"?  Is this tied to the Extensions in some way?

Hi, how can I get a group of users? I've tried this code. wt.org.WTGroup myGroup = wt.org.OrganizationServicesHelper.manager.getGroup("My group");But the result is allways the same—myGroup value is null. Name of the group is correct. Any help is appreciated.

I am very new to Mathcad and am trying to complete an assignment in which I need to calculate the number of occurrences whereby load of a system is greater than resistance. I have created my file and programme in line with my course notes but at the end am getting an error message stating that the array in my if statement is invalid.
