I am having a difficult time working on Thingworx with my partner for this project. It seems everything he edits:  mashups, Things, or anything of that sort I can not access it again and I get a error message that I have attached above.  Even if I created it, once he edits and saves I can no longer edit it again. We just started to notice this problem and weren't having any trouble before. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Rachel Kmetz

Effectivity date for a particular part object can be checked by using edit filter criteria and specifying the date range. Now, for structure tab in documents there is  no effectivity option in edit filter. Can anyone let me know how to configure windchill to view effective document in bom structure.@

Hi,All:This is a fresh about thingworx.  I have few questions about thingworx:1: Mashup already owns lots of widgets,  may i define my own kind of widget? or we call user-defined widget?2:  A app run on diferent  smart phones can show the same appearance? typically different screen size and resolution?3: May i use R or Python to analyse data stored in Thingworx? 4: What is the relationship among thing ,shape,template in composer?5: When i connect lots of my things  to ThingWorx via  Internet,  is there any request for network capacity, like bandwidth or speed?

Hi guys,My objective is to find LCC as close as possible to 1.Upon my Initial Guess Value of 1mm, it returns tcalc3 = 13.803mmsecond guess value of tcalc3 = 13.803mm,  returns LCC of 0.795 and tcalc3 = 12.3mmMy question is how can I make it as iterative, so that  I dont have to keep manually changing the initial guess value (tcalc3) to find LCC close to 1Thanks!!

All --I don't have much experience solving ODEs in Mathcad, Any ideas why this doesn't work?FWIW, I know I can separate variable and just put the necessary equations inside of a solve block and Minerr it, but that produces its own set of problems, so I would like to try this. Obviously, the symbolic engine chokes on the integral, so we can't do it directly.Thanks in advance.Matt

So, it's come to my attention that one of our former users had this habit of setting every single view on a drawing to its own layer status. Even if the view didn't need it and had the same layers hidden/unhidden as all the other views.Of course I know about selecting a view and picking Drawing Dependent to reset it to follow the drawing layer status. That's a great fix for drawings that have a few views. That's not so great a fix for drawings with 30 views. Hi all, this is a strange one....I have a Creo 2 drawing. I can place custom symbols as free entities without problem, I can also use the "on entity" placement and this is also fine providing I select some edge geometry to place it to.However!.... if I choose to use an "on entity" placement and select the leader line of a dimension, the symbol will disappear after a few minutes. I can use the find tool to relocate it, but it's not visible or printable on my drawing.This fault occurs regardless of which symbol I choose (I have tried a few), and as a test I have created a brand new drawing, using the same model, and successfully placed a custom symbol on a dimension leader line. I understand well how to find the moment of inertia at a plane through my part, however, I would like to know if it is possible to find the moment of inertia (in one given direction) as a function of the distance along the part.  My main purpose for doing this is to find the location and value of the minimum moment of inertia.  It is a complex part so this cannot be done easily just by inspection.Any help is greatly appreciated!This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. In MathCad 15, is there a way to limit the calculation time, or implement a time out, for a solve block?  I have a parameterized solve block in which there are some values of the inputs that cause the solve block to run continuously (or at least longer than I'm willing to wait).I'd like to skip over those instances where it does this in the looping of the parametrized solve block and continue on to the next set of inputs in the loop.Thank You

Hello all,I am using CREO Parametric 2.0, and I am stuck at a problem in drawing. The problem is lets say I have placed a general sketch (Parent drawing) on the drawing sheet as front view of the model. Now if I project its view downward i-e top view it will successfully project the top view of it. But what if i want the bottom view of the object to be projected their without changing the parent view? Just trying to familiarise myself with MathCAD, and start the process of converting from Excel...As a practice problem, I'm trying to graph a functions which involves an 'if' statement: tractive effort (force) determined either by a maximum (limiting) value, or by dividing the available power by speed, whichever gives the lower value.In Excel I'd use a 'min()' function at each point, but this isn't going to work in MathCAD because it will look at the whole of my speed vector (for plotting) and find the single minimum value.  Therefore I'm using an 'if - otherwise' statement to define my function for tractive effort.  This works for any individual speed value, including a single index of my speed vector, but won't accept the full vector to generate a graph.At least the units seem to be behaving themselves!How should I be approaching this?

I have created local thingworx instance as well as cloud instance ..Downloaded the apk and installed in my andriod device . And imported the .xml file and created mashup .. binded  with IMEI and checked the Appkey ... etc ...But i am unable to get the data in the mashups ... There are no logs for it that is the reason i could give any logs here ...only thing i am getting in mobile device is to check the IP key etc to .. which i did for multiple times .  could any one help please Adrian Petrescu​   Veronica Mihai​let me know anything i am missingThanks in advance ...

Greetings,I have a requirement for storing some data in a Stream and then providing a service to query that Stream and aggregate the results by certain value columns.For example, if i had a stream backed by a DataShape containing ID, NumericValue columns, and i wanted to rollup the numeric values to the beginning of each month (using the Stream Timestamp), is this even possible using the Query/filtering API?

I have a SDK agent service that returns an infotable to the platform and I need to display this infotable in a mashup. The infotable has no data shape because the columns are created dynamically and can vary.I would prefer to use the property display widget as this service returns only one row and I would like it to display down vertically instead of a grid that displays the row horizontally but I can not get the property display widget or the grid widget to display the infotable unless I have a data shape assigned to the return infotable. Is there a way to display an infotable that isn't defined with a data shape?Thanks!

I can search all requests for a particular object but....I'd like to narrow my search to be only in change packages that are found in individual requests. I may have an object called OBJECT1 that is only listed within a change package and not listed anywhere else. So, when I get a production report indicating that OBJECT1 was changed, I want to be able to search Integrity and find it.Ideas? Help?

I need to be able to pass inputs into a Master mashup; so that I can use them on the page dynamically. What's the process to do that in Composer?

Hi Guys,I have a simple question. I would like to create a dashboard mashup which would notify me on existing alerts (via repeater widget I guess). Very same as the Alert Summary monitor in ThingWorx itself.But the service GetAlertSummary is Thing-driven (referenced). So far as I know there's no service which would return all the active alerts for all the Things implemented. Or is there? What is the best practice solution for this. With performance in mind?Thanks a lot for any input.
