  All,  I have a couple of questions on handling customizations in our test upgrade from Intralink 9.1 M060 to 10.2 M030.   Is our filebased versioning a customization that has to be reloaded on the target server? We originally loaded this on the source with: java wt.series.LoadFileBasedSeries.Are Object Initialization Rules (OIR's) customizations that need to be created on the target server? We originally created OIR's on the source from .xml files.  The upgrade guide says the following about filebased series:  "If your source system has file-based series, then you need to verify that the file-based series on the target system is in sync with the source system’s filebased series. Ensure that the versioning scheme is set up in wt.properties on the target system exactly like it is on the source system."  How would I verify that the "file-based series on the target system is in sync with the source system’s filebased series"?  Which properties in wt.pro

Hi all, I'm getting bold texts on printed drawing outputs (hard print, pdf or postscript) whenever I use a symbol. See the attached picture. Does anybody know how to fix this? Hello,   I have several model parameters that are shown in drawing BOM. I specified a point on the surface of a radius in the modeling part of Creo along with references to planes to give the point an exact position in space while being specified on a surface first.I then created a structural measure linked to this point.  The analysis model was run and when looking at the results, I went into info/measure and created an annotation for the measure at the predefined point.  However, the position where the measure was taken was not in the correct position.  In fact it was on the edge of the radius instead of approximately in the middle.Does anyone have any ideas why?David

Hello every one,I am currently facing a table issue. I shall keep my table in portrait but increase the number of columns (x4...), but doing so my table is too width. If I change the first title column to display text in landscape, I can keep the current layout. I only found the attribute to change the whole page in landscape and when I applied it on a p element inside the table it does not correctly work: the table width take all the page even for small table.Do you have any tip or clue to help me? Inside the source files that we store in configuration management, we enter the following annotation:  $LOG Filename $This automatically inserts the comments entered on checkin in a Revision History section.We were wondering if there is a way to bring in the Change Request or Defect number that is associated with the check in.

I'm exporting assemblies from another workstation to mine to work on them. The assemblies are a mix of new and existing parts (both stations are using the same directory). The export creates all the parts and when I import on my end I set it to use the common space parts and create the proper new ones. Now I did this on 1 assembly and it worked flawlessly, then I tried it on a 2nd and it started causing problems. The assemblies were broke because 2 of the 5 parts that exist already won't retrieve from the common space. I did a series of updating, redownloading, deleting workspaces, and checking my cache for anything with the same file name and nothing worked. The latest I found is for 10.1 M030! There are a lot of outdated chapters in it, they do not reflect the changes made.When searching the reference documents for PartsLink (All Versions, All Types) for 10.2 only the "Windchill Content Overview" and "Read me First" docs are offered.Am I missing something?Best Regards,  Thomas

Test driving Creo 3 M060 for a potential upgrade from WF4 at my company.  Our manufacturing models that were created PRIOR to WF open in Creo 3, but the ribbon UI goes away.  Our manufacturing models that were created USING WF open in Creo 3 with the expected ribbon interface.  Can anyone shed some light on why the interface is different when opening different aged manufacturing models?  Is there a config setting that I can use to change this behavior?Thank you,CoreyThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello community.Consider the case where  a RemoteThing is bound to a VirtualThing. The RemoteThing has a bound property "property1". The property has CACHE access mode set to "always fetch from remote". In this case, in case of a "property read" the request is always forwarded to the device. What value does the device return? Does the device  execute the processScanRequests() ?  This would trigger the invocation of updateSubscribedProperties(), so the device would send the current values gathered from the sensors with a PUSH message.Giuliano

Hello All,I have a remote thing where I would like to trigger a subscription every time my isConnected property changes.  However, when I subscribe to the data change of that property nothing happens because that property doesn't have any option selected for datachange.  I am unable to add the datachange because it is a system data shape.  Does anyone know of a way around this?  Could I make some sort of timer that just does a check every 15 minutes?  Thank you!

On computers that do not have a discreet graphics card, the client UI lags quite a bit. Is there a known fix for this?  These computers have Intel HD Graphics. I have seen this on a Dell laptop running Windows 7 and a Dell tablet running Windows 8.1.Maximum Heap Size is set to 1024 MB.Popup Status Delay has been set to different values between 0 and 2500 (default).

When would you choose one over the other? I can't find much documentation on the Connection Server.
