When integrating my shear equation, the moment diagram shows occasional discrepancies along an otherwise expected curve.

When selecting dim properties it takes almost 5 seconds until the menu 'Dimension Properties' appears. Even in a very simple drawing. This is very annoying. Hello,I've been using a 30 day trial version of Mathcad 3.1 at school. After this trial version expired I bought a license code from our teacher. He bought a bunch of licences wholesale I guess back when 3.0 was still the bomb. The code I got consists of 14 positions, then 2 blocks of 4 positions. So it looks like this: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx I can't figure out where to download the older version 3.0. Could I use the above code for 3.1 as well? Thanksmaurits

How do I perform Implicit Derivative in MathCad?I am trying to use MathCad Prime to solve an implicit derivative but I have no idea how I could do it. It seems to only solve a normal differentiation with only one variable.Example:x^2+y^2=25dy/dx = -y/xHow do I get MathCad to work properly with implicit derivative?Thanks!

Can a variable's symbolically obtained value be propagated to future uses of that variable?I want my second expression to see c2 as zero.

I am learning Creo NC(milling) and have run into an issue. When the following situation occurs, it will omit the "G1" causing the tool to enter the next cut at rapid instead of feed. Not good. It appears to be tied to using the parameter value for "free_feed" to anything other than "0"Here is a code example and more info below it explaining the details.If a new sequence is created where the tool repeats, is using “free_feed = 500” or any value other than zero and follows a previous sequence that posts out a “G0” rapid move, then it does not post out a “G1” with the first linear feed move. It will omit it the “G1” and enter the cut in Rapid. If you set the “free_feed = 0” in the constant load vol mill it will then output the “G1” correctly. This will not resolve the problem because the tool then moves in “G0” rapid during the retract tool motions risking damage to the tool and workpiece. The only solution I have found is to set the post to handle the “G1” as non-modal. This resolves the

Hello world,Just a simple question.for some reason in CREO 3.0 M010, when I try to set a color for a part it sets the color surface by surface, I have tried by selecting the part on the three but it does nothing.In an assembly yes, it sets the color for the part selected but in a part file it only does that for the surface selected which is a pain, in Creo 2.0 I think it was posible.does anyone knows what I am doing wrong?ThanksThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am using DITA in Arbortext Editor version 6.1, datecode M020.What do I need to do to make revision bars show up when I generate a pdf of a book?I went to the help menu, and it says to open Modify Attributes and to choose an option from the revisionflag field.  The options are supposed to be "added", "changed", "deleted", and"off".There is no revisionflag field. There is a rev field under the Other tab, but it does not have dropdown options.  But I tried "changed" inside a step element.  No go.  Does not work. No change bar showed up in the pdf.Not only that, but it would be an understatement to say that having to do this manually for every change I make to a book would be a ridiculous increase in workload.  Isn't there some way to have this done automatically?

I'm using MathCAD 15 in Windows 7 environment. I'm trying to create a vector using a range variable or at least that's what I think I'm doing. I thought I could set up a similar command sequence in user defined function as below:But as you can see in my user defined function, MathCAD is not happy with me or range variables don't work the same way in a user defined function as they do in the regular environment.

Folks,I'm trying to define a symbol that includes 'boxed' variable text in a note. I define the note with the '\' prefix & suffix. But when I place the symbol and try to enter @[100-T@] to replace the @[NOTE@] in the note, I get an error as shown in the attached picture. Our Engineering work group has been discussing the direction we would like to go with die design as we have been learning more about Creo and how others use this product.We presently have Pro Mold, but we have been running into a number of limitations and disadvantages with this product.There is only one feature that has us holding on to Pro Mold and that is that it includes Shrink.We are wondering whether the Advanced Assembly Extension, or for that matter any other Creo extension includes the Shrink option.We only need the Shrinkage by Scale.It also is important that this is added in the feature tree so we have a visual link that this is added in the model. I am trying to update the last modification date and the creation date on a Windchill Object, say WTPart, and while searching info regarding this I stumbled on IBA attributes.I am new to Windchill and am not able to relate these kind of terminologies to the application.So can somebody please explain to me what do IBA attributes in Windchill mean, and how are they different from other attributes of Windchill.and if the last modification date and creation date of objects are IBA attributes, is there a way to update these attributes using a Windchill task so that we won't need to worry about updating these attributes directly to the database.
