Anyone have any current success running PTC Creo Parametric on MAC with WMware Fusion?

Our company is considering getting Windchill PDMLink to use with our Creo files. We have a lot of legacy Anvil 5000 drawings, can these be imported into the PDM?

A user is receiving the following error.  "The value for MASS_GR cannot be changed".   The material properties have the correct units and agree with the standards we apply. Any thoughts of what could be the issue? Thanks  CREO2 m120 ~ Windchill 10 m20

I have a very simple problem, but I can't figure it out. My workstation was upgraded to windows 10 pro. Everything in Creo3 working fine, except I no longer have zoom with the mouse wheel. I reloaded the Logitech software, no change. The wheel works everywhere else in Creo, just not for zooming. Currently test driving Creo 3 M060 for an upgrade from Wildfire 4.  Having trouble figuring out how to properly create a rotation pattern of an NC sequence in Creo.In Wildfire 4, I would pattern an NC sequence with the menu manager to rotate a sequence around an axis in two directions.  The sequence I am rotating is pointed at the axis I am rotating around. Here is the un-patterned sequence:After specifying the angle between instances, I would make the following selections so that each patterned sequence would be pointed at the center axis.Here is the resulting pattern. Notice each instance of the sequence is pointed directly at the center axis of the blurred part.Now, I'm trying to do the same thing in Creo 3, but I don't seem to have access to the options I selected above when patterning the feature.  Keep in mind this sequence is in a UDF that I placed into both Creo and Wildfire. Hello,I'm using Creo 3.0 M060 Academic Edition.I'm following a tutorial from my Precision PLM account, but I found a problem in some of the steps. I am looking for a good book or on-line course in Signal Processing used mainly with real communication systems. Most seem to focus on the theory of the math, not the applications and techniques. Something that would be helpful to a practicing engineer wanting learn how they are used in real systems. I don't need to see every proof or get bogged down in nth-space theorems just some information on how devices in the digital world filter noise, error correct etc.

Hi,we use the Arbortext Editor Version 6.1. If we delete a character after an inline element, arbortext deletes also the space:You can see this in this example:As you can see, the cursor is placed after the emphasis - element.If we would like to delete the point character with backspace, Arbortext deletes also the space character:That is absolutely not desired. Is there maybe a setting/option to change this behaviour?Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello,I usually have to export a list of the totals of commercial parts (like screws, nuts, washers etc etc, common parts outsourced from suppliers) included in assemblies, in order to give it to the purchase office.In Creo (prametric and windchill), we codify them as Cxxxxx (C stands for "commercial") where xxxxx is an internal code. I would like, one I have finished an assembly, to export a Bill Of Materials containing ONLY them, without necessity to export the complete BOM, then erase rows etc etc...so I am searching for a function, if present, that would allow me to do this. In addition, it would be hugely useful to have, in this list, in addition to the file name and its total quantity in the master assembly (present by default in Creo BOM list), also the name assigned to the parts (e.g., if C00002 is a hex head screw M10x30, the part file name is C00002 and the part name is "hex head screw M10x30").Anyone knows how to do it or has some suggestions?thanksbye byeThis thread is inac

Does anyone know what needs to be added to a report to get the Date Completed of a change notice or a change task?

Solids are shown as a shell when section view is activated on Creo 2.0;I think this is just a configuration, but I couldn't find it. On ProEngineer 4.0 it wasn't the default.

Hi,Over the years we have changed the set of parameters that we store in our models. For new models this is not a problem, we've adapted the template model. But for old models some newer parameters are not inside. You can add these all manually, this is a bit longwinded but you can also let them add by the code by the relation, the only problem is that the parameter is not set as designated, so does not pass to the wtpart. I want to make a note display certain text depending on a dimension of a part. Good evening,I am currently having some unexplained problems with the PTC Creo 3 models that I am trying to render in Keyshot.As you can see the mounting holes look fine in Creo but like hexagons in Keyshot.Before exporting the models into the .bip file I changed the settings within Creo so that the edges display quality was set to high quality and the shade quality was set to 21 out of a possible 50. In a separate model with self shadows selected I got the rib like shadows under the cover as shown on the right. Also on the base there was an unexplained vertical line that I could not get rid of without blowing out my model with lights; self shadows has no effect on this line.I've been using some Keyshot tutorials to help me render some of my previous work but these anomalies are making it very tough to get a great image without having to pull it out into Photoshop which I really want to avoid for efficiency reasons.Please feel free to post any decent rendering tips that I should use fo

I've noticed that Import/Export -> Export -> Source Control Entities produces nicely formatted XML files, but More -> Export for Source Control does not.  Is this the intended behavior or a bug?  The formatted XML is much easier to diff between revisions, and it'd be nice to be able to get it from both XML generators.
