How can I import the holes into a PCB assembly using the IDF import?  If I open the board alone, I am able to import the holes but I cannot do it within the assembly.  Is there a setting I need to set?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Our problems have one or more work instructions that have one or more change packages associated with them.  I can query to get a list of all work instructions that have changes packages closed since the specified date but I cannot get back to the list of problem reports associated with these work instructions

Hi @all,with IM 10.7 we want to concatenate some fieldvalues into another field of the same item. For this we had created a shorttext-field with a computation. One of the fields we want to use is a pickfield, and (as stated in the documentation) pick-fields always return only the number of the selected entry and not the value. Are their any known workarounds which you can share with me? Thanks,cheers, Jens   

I am trying to get a list of objects that have had their states changed on a certain date, within a certain folder. Does anyone know how I would do this? It appears that when a state changes on an object the "last modified date" does not reflect the change. I need to determine the criteria for a report to get a list of only those objects that their states changed on a certain date. Thanks

In our Windchill installation we have user in Denmark (English), and in France (French). In the Event management in Creo we Danish user gets some times messages in French. We are running with the same database server, and a fileserver in each country.It is only in the Event management I have seen the problem.Can I some there in Windchill set the language?Allan

hi,We're recently converting documents from output of a customized version of Arbortext Editor to standard one, and one of the major challenges is we no longer have some customized features and markups, one of which is endnote. I'm wondering if there's any way to simply use footnote and change some attribute to remove number(s) so that it look like endnote?  BTW I don't think I could change stylesheet, as it's already defined.Thanks.best regards,Amy

Hi all,I want to have variables as follows: T/W=0.8 or W/S=100 etc. However Mathcad  won't let me define a variable like that, because I think it actually divide or sth. Is there a way around this?I don't need to know the W or T, I just want to use T/W or W/S ratio in subsequent calculations.As an example if I want to solve for V=sqrt(2(W/S)/rho*sigma*CL), I would just use the W/S ratio that I would have already defined.

So I have only just started working with analyzing center of gravity (CoG) and there is something I can not figure out.I opened up Mass Properties - I clicked preview - and the CoG was in between the robot's two back wheels. I added two large blocks of iron to the front of the robot and the CoG did not change.(Here are some images to help explain my problem.)The CoG is located between the black wheels in the back.The CoG is still located between the two black wheels. Even with two 12x12 blocks that are assigned the material FE 20.I have a feeling this is a beginner's mistake.

Has anyone experienced a crash when inserting a cross-sheet fiber. I have a academic license of MathCad Prime 2.0, and I had it install on this HP EliteBook 8740w laptop in question.Few days ago I did a clean install of win 8 64-bit on the same laptop, and installed Prime 2.0 again from DVD. However now the program wons start, it just flashes an error window, of which I managed to take a screen capture.Now I tried repairing the istallation without any luck. The setup.exe always offers new installation.I also tried repairing with PrimeWixInstaller_64bit.exe, which tells me it's repairing the installation, but the results are the same - the Prime won't start after this.I tried both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, no luck.I tried another laptop, and it works ok.The error log is attached.Any ideas, how to get my prime working again?

In Creo 3 the default feature preview shows exactly how the model will look if the feature is completed. If the feature is going to fail, no preview is shown. For very tiny changes, it isn't clear whether the preview is on screen or if it will fail. For very tiny drafts, it isn't as easy to see which way the draft is going. I have to flick the draft direction back and forth to check.The older translucent yellow preview was more useful to me. I could see exactly what would happen straight away.
