I am coding a tool with ProToolKit, it's as follows,1, the user click the left mouse button the the drawing.2, If there is a note or a dim at the mouse cursor, then change the color of the note or dim to Red.3, if there is a geometry (surf or line) at the mouse cursor, then change the geometry color to Green.4, if there is nothing at the cursor when clicking, do nothing.I can use ProMousePickGet()  to  read the screen coordinate of the mouse, But , how to find whether there is a note or a geometry at the cursor?Is there a API method ?Please help.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi all,In the screenshot attached, my issue is with "detail view" B. This is actually a completely independent partial view of the bottom face of the part. The section style arrows under the main view have been sketched in. I have inherited the drawing and others like it and am wondering if this is the best can be done?This is assuming the is no room to simply have a partial projection view underneath. We have 5 ldap servers and 1 of them will be off line for the next couple of days. Windchill will not come up and the only error that I have is that the ldap connection that is down fails to connect. If I create a query like this:query = {     "filters": {          "fieldName": "AssignedUser",          "type": "EQ",          "value": userName     }};...then I can run that against a data table as long as userName has a value. But if I want to find rows where AssignedUser is undefined, then I can't just make userName undefined, and making it "undefined" would search for that literal string value.I remember some special syntax where "type" was "ISUNDEFINED" or something similar. Can someone provide the correct query?

I get the following error when invoking a simple query on a value stream (using the DataFilter and TimeSelectors in the mashup). [context: com.thingworx.webservices.context.HttpExecutionContext@71e1b30c][message: Unable to Invoke Service QueryPropertyHistory on N4A_Thing : null] Is this because the field I am querying has null values?  The query is simply gps_status equals to 1.  There are lots of entries where this exists, but all I get is the error.  If I am not allowed to have null entries in the ValueStream, then how do I avoid this?  I need to filter out invalid location data when the GPS status is not valid.

I am trying to create a flange on the top edge of a boundary blend in a sheet-metal part.Do you any of you guys know why I can't extend the flange on the whole edge of the part ? I'm using Mathcad 15 on a Windows 7 machine. Despite having read this articleTemperature UnitsI'm still very confused. In the attached file, the first line I would have expected the results to be 80C. However you can see I don't get that answer. I thought I was not understanding temperature units and that still may be the case. I have found, that to get the correct answer, that the equation has to be written and then edited to get the correct answer. So you can see that the two equations give two completely different answers. I was able to get the correct answer by typing 0C and evaluate the answer and then editing to -20C. Do I still not understand units (a question than really can't be answered) or is there some error going on here?

Hi all:My company used Windchill 10.2 M030 as PLM, I found that even the function Ext.onReady() couldn't work in IE11, but FF OK.I had tried to modify ext-all.js and ext-base.js but failed. Was anyone faced the same problem?

I recently switched from SW to Pro/E WF5, it is very painful. A lot of convenient things seem not available in Pro/E.1. In SW, I can pick anywhere in an assembly, say an edge of a part, the part will be highlighed in the model tree on the left. In WF5, no way, it is difficult to do this backward matching, you can only pick in the model tree and see it highlighted in 3D model.2. In SW, you can right click on a part or multiple parts/sub-assembly in an assembly, and choose "Isolate", it will isolate these parts and hide the rest. In WF5, no easy way to do this, you have to select the rest and hide.3. In SW, you can right click on a part or multiple parts/sub-assembly in an assembly, and make these parts semi-transparent, very useful in observing a big assembly. I don't know how to do this in PTC, probably a lot of clicks needed.4. I have an end user that is trying to insert a radio button. He is using Matcad 15.0.  The user goes through the steps of adding the radio button and nothing happens.  I have looked at the following articles:Re: Insert > Control in MC15 Not WorkingI have tried all the suggestions in the article and still nothing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

The installer, links and title say Mathcad Prime, but the "about" page says Mathcad Express, both version 3.1.I read that if you buy Mathcad Prime you can also use Mathcad 15. Does this apply to the version bundled with Creo Parametric 3? I'm guessing not.Cheers

Dear community,a colleague of mine (not a strong PTC Integrity user) has created a sandbox pointing directly in the Desktop folder.After that, he has dropped that sandbox (I suppose the complete drop sandbox: directory + files) and he has lost everything (Desktop included). Is there any way to recover those files? I think that PTC has understood the Desktop folder as a sandbox (due to the .pj file) and with the drop command everything has been deleted.Now he's asking me a miracle, I suppose. I don't think that my colleague was versioning those files on a server, so I cannot recover them in this way. He simply created a sandbox on the Desktop, without knowing what he was doing.Do you have any ideas to solve the issue? Do you know if some of these file are stored (temporary) somewhere? Hi, parameter pro_mp_mass is not updated even when I compute mass properties.This on is updated when I change some dimensions but not the parameter.The only solution I've found it to go in prepare model / mass pro / change (geom & param) and the compute.I can't understand why it is not automatically computed as it was in the pass.mass_property_calculate is already set to automaticI've certainly change something but don't know what (in parts, in config.pro...)Thanks for any advice This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I have a part file that was saved as PRT0001 and I no longer want that part. I want my part file and drawing file to be called WT5199 . How do I break the link between my WT5199 drawing and the PRT0001 file so that I do have to regenerate my drawing views? We have a gateway in the field that will be sending up events as they happen, and example would be an estop pressed, or a solenoid actuated.  With each event there will be sent a start time and a duration.  What is the best way to store these events?  I would like a general events infotable for each "thing" that holds the name of the event, time, and duration.  Should a new row be added as each event occurs, or should I use a stream and just replace the existing row with the most current event? 

Can I replace a part file with an assembly file within an assembly?  Furthermore, how do I replace anything?  I click on the part to be replaced, select Replace.  The window pops up and I select the new file.  I hit Apply and OK.  Nothting changes. Hi, everyone,Right now I just want to find the non-trivial solution to the last equation above,I can find that using the solve block, but since solve block cannot be used in programming,I am afraid I have to find another way to solve a Matrix function with non trivial solution.In Matlab, [eigenval, eigenvecs] = eig (K, M) would return to EV as eigenvecs, using the equation M*EV*lambda = K*EV, and it is easier for programming, say K & M varies.So is there a way to solve non-trivial solution to a Matrix Function other than the solve block in Mathcad?Thank you for your help!BestShawn
