Hi everyone,I would like to know if there's a way to use a reference within a for loop in Mathcad 15. The subject has already been discussed here but the proposed solution wasn't really working well and gets too complicated with a bigger worksheet. Nevertheless, the principle is there.To schematize, i'm trying to create a worksheet like this : for i from 1 to n * define variables used in reference calculation * call reference * get results(i) from reference next i show results I hope this is technically possible, so please let me know if you know an advanced version of the pre-cited method.Regards,Antoine

We have 2 groups of users.  All are currently running creo 2.0 m070.One group is between projects and would like to update to m170.The 2nd group must wait.Are files that get modified by users running m170 fully backward compatible to users running m070?

Seeing following error in Tomcat stderr log file (tomcat8-stderr.2015-11-18.log) while trying to bring up Tomcat app after deployment. Looks like something to do with datastore. Hello all,We are learning shear force and moments and we are drawing them by hand. I understand all the calculations and how to draw shear force and bending moment diagrams but the bonus question on our assignment is to plot the diagram below in Mathcad using x-y graphs. If someone could help me with it I would really appreciate it. We Wont be taught how to do it in Mathcad but i am sure it would be useful to know.

hello, I have xml files that want to upload to our PTC Integrity Source server 10.5I noticed when I choose Data Type to "Auto" (default), then the file is sucessfully loaded, but as binary, and I miss the PTC integrity keywords expanded there.when I try to use "Text",  then  I got the error message as attachedI don't understand why, because file is valid xml , and can be opened by any text editor and browser.see a sample small XML file attached.just in case, this is version we are using hereThanks for any help in advance,Regards,Pablo

Hi,when i'm downloading a file from Windchill with desktop integration activated (using Internet Explorer) download a file named DTIActionServlet.servlet instead my file.If i disable desktop integration in my setting is working but i need it.Using Firefox it's the same. FF download a file data.wcdti, opening that is download same file DTIActionServlet.servlet.This happen with any files.Do you have any suggestion?Best reguards

We put engraving in our dies.Unfortunately we have to match our engraving characters with metal hand stamp characters because over the die life the CNC'd characters lose their crispness.Knowing the type of character used by the hand stamp I am wondering if it would be possible to use this text in our dies. The only problem is that the windows fonts are double line walled and we need this to just be single walled (or no volume).Creo's default text CNC's much better than our curve created match of the Gothic hand stamps. The problem is that they don't match the hand stamps.Could anyone point us in a direction that would allow us to place text created stamp characters that match the hand stamps?

I have recently switched to the new ThingWorx .NET SDK version 5.6.0 FIPS from 5.5. Windchill does not allow copy / paste to assign folder locations.  To assign folders, one must navigate from the root product and drill down to the appropriate folder.  I realize that this can be set initially in the workspace preference for new object but does not help with all the other occasions.  I guess it is just another loss of functionality from good ole Intralink

Yes, this problem has an analytical solution, and most likely, it can be solved using dimensional arrays and finite differences too. I might be missing something obvious as to how I have set it up. is there a way to override a revision in windchill.  we did a data migration from Intralink, and some of the revisions are at the incorrect revision.  mainly due to new items being duplicated, the revs werent correct in intralink to begin with.anyway, i have objects, that are at rev 4.1 in windchill, but the actual rev of the part is 1.  is there any way to do this without deleting the object from commonspace, and reimporting.thanks for your time

I had initially installed Creo 3.0 M040 with the schools configuration, but find that the "simplified" interface was too limiting - specifically too many tools were missing from the sketch ribbon. Is there a simple way to revert to the standard interface, other than deleting and reinstalling the program? Even better, is there a text file we can edit to pick and choose the customization? I know there's a graphical ribbon customization tool, but it's a pretty tedious way to reinstate commands if there are a lot of them.ThanksNoa

Good morning,I have a quick question regarding units. I am new using mathcad. This might be a silly questions but i am trying to input the units at the end of a calculation such as wind pressure in psf, but when i do it changes automatically to Pa^1*psf. that's not what i want. how can i change this?I am attaching the file. first page, last equation. It doesnt have any units at this moments, but as soon as i double click on the unit section and enter psf of lb/ft^2 is also adds Pa^-1.Thanks.Ernesto CostaEN Engineering.

I need to have an error message popup if a user selects “Not Applicable” for BOTH of the attributes pictured below (attached).  This error message would trigger on submit or when the user clicks on next. Anyone know the code to do this?

I need assistance creating a code for a conditional node that will check to make sure the task has been complete.  The task for this particular node is that the user creates a service request within windchill.  How I see this working would be the system would look at the PBO of the workflow and grab the value in the attribute called "Serial #" and add it to a variable in the workflow.  Then the system can search for a service request document and see if there is one out there at also has a serial # that matches.  If yes then it allows the workflow to move on, if no it sends another task back to the user to create the document and will stay in the loop until he or she does.Below is a sample of code we already have that does this exact thing, but for Managed Collections (matches names and adds PBO to MC automatically).wt.facade.persistedcollection.ManagedCollection mc = null;java.lang.String collectionName = ((wt.doc.WTDocument)primaryBusinessObject).getName().toUpper
