Hi everyone,I was trying to create BID diagrams, and I have a big problem. In the bid I want to connect multiple connectors with one fiber, but I simply can't find a way how. I've attached a picture, what indicates that in the help it says fibers L4 and L5 connects x-y-z connectors in a simple network...ect. Well I've tried to connect two connectors to a third one, but I can't "expand" (??) my existing fiber. On the second picture you can see, the fiber that connects 03 with JP1 is named Bharn_1, I'd like to connect J1 to this harness with the same fiber (Bharn_1), but if I route a fiber again I can't even attach it to Bharn_1 (I've just terminated the end of it..... ). How should I do this? I'm running Windchill on a Unix server.  I try to log something to an external file, but I also print information to the MethodServer at the same time.In the MethodServer, the information is printed with timestamp "2015-08-27 08:49:56" using System.out.println().In my log file, the timestamp is printed as "2015-08-27 13:49:56" using output.println(new java.sql.Timestamp(System.currentTimeMillis()) + "information").I've tried searching the internet for how to change the timestamp (which is essentially GMT, but not technically) to a different timezone, but I have gotten anywhere.  But obviously the logging has figured it out somehow.

HelloI'm trying to form a consolidation matrix to compute one-dimensional soil consolidation (settlement).The matrix is formed by taking values from values from previous columns and rows of the matrix andI don't get this to work.In the matrix the horizontal axis ( j ) represents time steps and the vertical axis different depth nodes ( i ).Each node point is a value of, where the multiplier ct/z^2 is repleced by factor beta.The values in the  first column are given u0The first row should be only 0 -valuesand the last row should be determined by functionThank you for your help.

Using Creo 3.0 SIMULATE.  Stress fringe plots are colored red-orange-yellow-green-blue.  One of our users is "color challenged" and we are seeking a gray-shade color map (syscol.scl) to load for reviewing stress analysis results.   [This is something we do easily in ANSYS] Is there an example syscol.scl file available for shades of gray ? hello.I have an assembly AsmA with parts, let's say PartA PartB PartC . I saved this assembly as new assembly AsmB and leaved the same parts names ,just renamed partC to PartC1... it works.Then I created some feature (in part level) in asm AsmA in activated PartA . The feature is depend on PartB (I used some edges of PartB as references). This feature is obviously in partA in AsmB too. But I cannot edit the feature in asmB because it was created in different assembly. This never mind.Now I need to save the AsmA as a new asm. with new name of partC but the parts A and B reuse. In Prime 3.1, the xy plot shows up blank when I print to pdf. Please help.

Dear PTC community,i have a question about a vector plot.In the plot (attached as a picture), i only want to show the points and the ring segments.At the moment, also the connecting line pieces to the next ring segment are plotted. Hi erverybody,I´m trying to understand the windchill access rules. So far the help tells me there are ad-hoc rules and policy rules.Following the help I wanted to set a ad-hoc rule - but the tab for access controll in the lifecycle diagram is grey (see picture below - access control in german "Zugriffssteuerung"). I tried with organisation admin and site admin (but as site admin I don´t see the correct lifecycle).How can I "ungrey" these tabs?Thanks in advance.Best regards,Benjamin

Is there a way to turn off the light source in Creo 2.0 so there is no light highlighting on the shaded model??  I thought this was something that was able to be modified in previous versions of Pro-E (turning it off, changing the angle, changing intensity, etc).  I can't find it.

HI,I want to add BOM table in Arbortext for a service manual. I am adding BOM table manually in the Editor. I would like to know if there is any other way to add BOM table automatically in the Editor.

Our office recently made the switch from Arbortext 5.3 to 6.1.We have node-locked licenses for all our new 6.1 machines and today have just come to realize that in this new version, users cannot work remotely via a remote terminal connection. After contacting PTC support, the only way a user can remtoely use Arbortext is with a floating (more expensive) license type.In 5.3, node-locked or individual licenses worked fine over a remote connection and now we might get burned by this licensing change. Is there no other alternative than to just buy the more expensive floating license?? I'm just posting here to maybe see how others dealt with this change as we can't have been the only ones burned by this.

I don't think I've encountered this error before.   I wonder if it's related to running M15 040 under Windows 10 (or just an M15 040 issue?Stuart

Dear Friends,I am Raja , Programminging in PRO/Toolkit using VB API is dream job for me. Its very interested programming method. I try to learn those stuffs in internet but not found any great tutors.Finally I find the the VB API tutorial in PTC website. Its contains full of objects and methods. But i cant find there "How to RUN the first program" and "what are the steps we need to run the Program in Visual studio 2005 to use the Pro tool kit".If I run the samples one it shows general tool kit error. New MathCAD user here. I have spent the last day going through other solve block issues and see if someone else made a similar mistake as myself, to no avail.I am trying to solve a 3 variable system of equations with solve block and get and error. Any guidance is appreciated

I have a real life work problem I'm attempting to use MathCAD to solve. I'm computing the response time history of a coasting rotation inertia and at time zero reverse motor torque is applied. I have an 8th order state space model and I'm using Rkadapt to solve. The motor torque is a function of shaft speed and is thus a function of one of the state variables. I have the function as tabular data (lookup table). Any suggestions on how to formulate the motor torque?

However, as you can see from attached MathCad file, with adding if statement in my function, an error appers that "this value must be scalar"Any idea why this happens. Running IsoDraw 7.3 on Win7 pc.Using Batch to convert CGM files to SVG.Would like to remap all Fonts (most are Arial), changing them to Helvetica.How to batch change the Fonts, whether in the file while it's open, or during the batch export process?We certainly could write code and run it against the SVG files afterward, but will IsoDraw do it?Thanks,Dave
