Hi.Is it true that when you assign a material from the material library (a nice, centralized location from which to control you business's material requirements) they decouple and remain local to the part (decentralized, uncontrolled etc. etc.)? I thought I knew about mechanism connections, but this example that I cooked up to train my colleagues has me stumped.For some reason, I can't make a 6-DOF hexapod in Creo 2.0 M120:What Creo magic am I missing here?I notice that when I disable the "Allow regeneration values" on the slider joints, then I can assemble the green ee-platform to five out of the six blue links. The last one will look like it is assembled, but any dragging will automatically disable it. What gives? Because if this is indeed working as intended, then Solidworks is head and shoulders above it when it comes to assembly and movement of components.Please try the model and help me. We recently moved from Creo Parametric 2.0 M100 to M130. I opened an assembly containing some models that use relations, and a Relations_to_verify.log file was generated in my working directory. The first lines of the file say “Evaluation of relations in a newer version of PTC Creo” and “’ The following symbols may impact relations evaluation:”. Then it lists the models affected and some symbols (dimensions in this case) that are being assigned to. Does anybody know what changed? What sort of errors may be occurring? Dear experts,I have been using Creo 2.0 for some time. I am facing difficulty in flattening a sheetmetal component. It is a simple part with a touch of complexity. We have hundreds of made up parts for fasteners, plumbing etc., that are family tables (nipple/1-4_npt_blk/5_in layout format). Just upgraded to 3.0 and search directory is correct but it is not finding parts(not sure if it is finding the upper level and just not the lower levels). Not only do I have to point to the correct part but open it and click down to the family table instance. This will be very unacceptable with 15 years of assembly models on our server. Do you know how to turn off the 3D drag option? We want to turn off the ability to drag the feature around to change the dimension. We would rather click on the dimension value and enter a number. I've buyed a single user verion of Mathcad Prime 3.1 with one year Support included. Maybe i will extend this contract until verion 4.0 is published. In the next three, four years it maybe that new hardware, especially a new pc will become required because the Hardware i'm using yet is five years old.Support contract.Must i have a support contract to change the host id of the license? I have a table that I have been using that has "&todays_date" which has been working well and shows the date as 10-MAR-15.I copied this table over to another table, but similar and when I go to use this new table with "&todays_date" it works also, but shows the date as Mar-10-15.How do I fixed the format of the date when they are both "&todays_date"Thanks, Dale

Hi All,   Is there a config option to automatically select the "Continue" option when a part has been opened and is asking to be checked out? Hi,We are working with Windchill 9.1 and Pro/e Creo 5 (M110) and are facing on some large projects (1100 objects in workspace) long check in times (upto 35 minutes). All caches (ie and java) are cleared and the workspace and pro/e cach are at minimum required, still we face long delay times. There are also no errors in the method server logs, the user has a 1 Gb line and a HP Z220 unit with 12 GB ram.Any ideas where the bottle neck could be ?Best regards,Bernard
