I am trying to replicate a note leader with bends in it, as seen in the attached drawing "bendy.PNG." I also would like to know how to make a brief break in an arrow line, an example of which can be seen in the attached drawing "break.PNG."Does anybody know how to do either or both of these operations in Creo 2.0's drawing mode? hello,everyone: Has anyone can tell me how to remove all disconnected principal . Our windchill 9.0 M050 is integrated with AD ,AD authenticate the users who log in Windchill. AD administrator deletes some users in AD,so there are some disconnected principal in Windchill. I log in as wcadmin(site administrator) and enter into site-utility-principal administrator-maintainance page,when I check the disconneted principal and click the "delete" button ,it shows"LDAP erorr code 32 No Such Object" Firstly，I am very sure that these users are not in our AD. I'm currently trying to insert a plane that bisects the thickness dimension of the geometry in the attached picture. The dimension of the thickness in the sketch is called sd5. When I enter "sd5/2" into the translation offset box and hit OK, an error that states "You have entered a value that contains invalid characters." (Reference the attached photo "Bisector.PNG.") I believe I was able to get this work before in a similar fashion, but I'm not sure why it is not working currently. Any help is appreciated. I am trying to create a Windchill Publish Rule that will publish a Creo drawing as a PDF file within a WTDocument. The problem is that our default viewables in windchill are HPGL, our CAD worker recipe is to to HPGL and we do not want to change this. So I am finding that even though my publisher rule states output="pdf" I am still getting a .plt file. Hi All! Few years ago I decided not to use instance accelerators anymore - they caused unnecessary regeneration and modifications of instances and being inside of PLM I did not see the need for them. Last week, during TC meetings, I heard PTC making a statement that we must use the accelerators. I did not get a clear explanation why. I am having a issue with notes that have a underline. I was running Creo 2 M030 and upgraded to Creo 2 M140 and the Gap from the text to the underline changed. M030 had a bigger gap from the text. M140 closed that gap and its very noticeable. When you are looking at a creo drawing it looks that same but I notice the problem when I export to PDF. see attached pics.M030 has the gap I want but when I switched to M140 I dont get a gap anymore. Again I am using the same PDF export setttings.Is this a upgrade improvement, a Detail Option setting issue, Config issue? I'm currently working on creating a drawing for an assembly. As you can see in drawing mode, I've selected "No Hidden" as the display style. However, the wire still shows through the sheath in drawing mode (refer to the red circle in the picture below.) I've also attached a picture of the assembly in 3D mode to give an idea of the geometry. As you can see, the clip completely surrounds the wire. Hi everyone,I would like to know if there is a way in MathCAD to solve such an equation: Where (unfortunately ) Sa(w,x) is known and G(w) is unknown. All other parameters can be considered known. The equation comes from a book about Eartquake Engineeering, and gives a possible relationship between Response Spectrum and Power Spectrum, together with Fourier Spectrum (less common) they are the type of spectra commonly used in earthquake engineering. So the unknown function G (in my problem the power spectrum) would appear at the same time under integral and outside of it. Schematically it would be something like: with F(w) known (but not a simple analytical function, it would have to be a splined interpolation, see small example on the left in the first picture above) and X(w) unknown.If, as I believe, there is no MathCAD way, I would be grateful for some hints to known numerical methods to solve the problem... my calculus lessons are a little dated Thanks a lot in advanceClaudio

Hi,I have tried to solve equations of current ramping up and down in a power converter, including the series (parasitic) resistances in the circuit. Solve block works fine and finds sensible results, except ... one of the 2 parameters I am searching (aa) is a duty cycle, and therefore, should be unitless, and it comes out of the solve block with a unit (Amps, like the other variable). I just can't find what I've got wrong, since all the equations I input will only work if the variable is unitless, so why on earth would the solve block add a unit that doesn't work ? Unless I missed something ...Thanks

Creo 2 M120 I’ve used postscript files with Adobe Distiller for a long time to create PDFs from Proe and now Creo.  I’ve got a set of mapkeys & batch files that generate the PS file and then process it into a PDF, using a specific printer config file (PCF). My PCF sets all lines to be black, but in WF4 the shaded views would still come out in color.  In Creo they come out black and white.   How do I get my lines in black but my shaded views in color?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I have not been able to find a clean was to simply search for a Change Task by Task number outside of Query builder. The Change Task is not an object available in the Advanced Search. My recommendation is to make a Change Task Object searchable. To locate a task by Change Notice Implementation Plan is a long way round.

The solve block in Prime 3.0 contains section in which to enter equations, parameters, etc. That's OK, but I'm trying to put solve blocks into a document (a book manuscript) and I need to be compact. As it is, it takes half a page to display all this stuff and tryinig to compress it makes it unreadable. In MCAD 15, solve blocks could be very compact while still being easy to read.Is there some way around this problem?
