Hello,   I work as a student in a company which needs a new type of BOM table. Specificly I have to sort a piping assembly by pipes, fittings, etc. It was pretty easy to create a new table with this filtering, but now i have 5-6 different region and each start indexing items by 1. While creating a document subtype as organisation admin I am getting error message as "Current User is not authorized to access "com.ptc.ptcnet.PTCPubDoc". can any body help me to resolve this problem?

I have problems with the product code. I've installed creo 3.0 using a student licence. When I start Creo, a warning message prevents the progam from running. Computer Info: HP ENVY 360xt touch/ i5 dual core/ 8gb RAM/ intel 4400 graphics/ windows 8.1/ 15.6" display/ 1366x768I suspect the problem has to do with the second display I just recently added because Creo 2.0 worked perfectly well before I installed my second display screen by AOC. Screen Info: AOC E1659Fwu/ 15.6" display/ 1366x768/ USB 3.0 connected using displaylinkWHAT HAPPENS IS... with screen connected or disconnected once I get to opening up a file in creo my screen goes black and suddenly my computer is restarting. After the restart my second display starts flashing and glitching out, but once I shutdown unplug and replug my screen goes back to normal. Still no luck with Creo 2.0 restarting my computer though. Even if my screen isn't connected it will restart, so I think that points to the software that runs the screen which is called DisplayLink, but I don't know what to do with that being said.- Jared Sand

In Windchill 9.1 and earlier, you were able to create similar users by creating the new user from an option called "like user" in the user information page.Where has that functionality gone in 10.x?Thanks in advance,Cam

How can I get the publisher to create our pdfs without having the planes, axes, points visible? Also our cable drawings do not show the thick lines.I tried setting the options and saving the config.pro file with the setting I want but that didn't work. Does the publisher read it's own config.pro or the default location file?

In the attached Prime 3.0 worksheet I am attempting to graph a function of functions. This is something that I did readily in Mathcad 15. Is this possible in Prime 3.0? Is there a change I need to make to this function to make it graphable?

I'm sorry to be asking for basic help but I seem to be having a hard time. Edit: 3d curve is referred to as wireframe in other cad programs?I am attempting to make a body with space hollowed out inside. I've created a circle and pulled it a distance through the body which hollowed out an area. I then moved the work plane down and created the internal shapes I need... Except now the material is not being removed from the outer body (no internal space created).How do I remove material from a body using 3d curves?Also how to I attach 3d curves to each other. Arrows in my image are pointing to where there is a disconnect between features. I've also attached my wip so feel free to get me going in the right direction. Thanks for the help. I just installed creo 3 on my computer 3 weeks ago. When I open a model and try to zoom in and out with the center wheel on my mouse nothing happens. I have creo 1 and 2 on the same computer and it works just fine. I tried a different mouse and nothing.

Hello Everyone,I have a large assembly, several sub assembly’s feeding a top level assembly. On a lower level assembly I have created note annotations that I would like to show on the drawing but I do not want them to appear on the next higher assemblies. I would like to turn them off, I have created different combined states for the annotations. Hi Experts,I am using Publishing engine with arbortext editor to publish document. My problem is I am not able to use custom stylesheet while publishing. How to use custom .style stylesheet for publishing?Publishing engine always use the default style sheet to publish. As a work around I am replacing default stylesheet with custom. Has anyone successfully installed Desktop Integration (DTI) on a Citrix server? We have installed it but it's not pushing to the user profile when they log in. I was assuming that the registry keys placed into HKLM would propagate into the user session but they aren't. Thanks!Joe

How can you route more than one wire to the same pin in a connector? When I try I get an error that reads "cannot route more than one cable to WIRE entry port." For a new project Im going to waterjet cut two large metric spur gears (no I will not simply buy them).The center distance will be (module 3 x 60 teeth) =180 mm (= both nominal diameters/2).In Creo I've found out that these gears will actually interfere, See image .Surely real gears dont have this problem, but since Im going to cut them myself, I will actually have this problem.So whats going on? It doesnt matter whether I download a 3d model of a gear from a manufacturer or create a parametric spur gear myself (both using standard formulas), the interference is there.How do I solve this? Should I create a cut on the spurgear (a small offset) to avoid interference? Is there a way to "hide" document types that are not being used to lesson confusion? There are two OOTB types that I would like to disable or hide. They are subtypes of the main document.

So, I'm completely new to Mathcad and am literally using it for my first time ever for a grad assignment. I am having difficulties with a couple of things in particular.First, and most importantly, I am getting an error which states "This value must be a function." Having defined the term and function in question previously, I am just not sure where I'm going wrong. I'm sure it's something easy about how I'm typing it in or what I forgot to do, but I need someone more experienced to help me out.Secondly, in the "error 2" worksheet attached, I am getting an error about incompatible units. If anyone could help me with one or both of these errors, I'd greatly appreciate it. Sorry for my lack of knowledge of the program.

Is there an easy way to add a custom attribute only to a specific task in a workflow? For example, in the OOTB Change Notice workflow there is an Audit task. How would I add an attribute to this task only?-Ryan

I have a Doc Workflow that works great, but I have one small issue. If a user revises this document which takes it back to Inwork state the workflow starts again....is there a setting to only run the workflow once or do I need to disallow revise for this type? Note: once the doc reaches released it will NEVER change.10.2 M022
