I am plotting the histogram of the random numbers generated by the runif(n,0,1) function.Even for big n the distribution I get is not uniform.What is wrong?thanks!

You used yto be able to copy sheets from other dwgs. I am using WF5/creo and it seems you cannot do this anymore. I want the ENTIRE sheet, models, views, dimensions, etc. When I try it using: "Edit, Copy from Other Drawing, Set Current, Done, Entire Sheet", all I end up getting is a dimension or 2, and PARTS of the format. Now, I believe the dwg I'm trying to copy from is WF4, but that should not matter.Anyone else having this issue?Maddening, as it's a huge time-waster. Happy Ester to everyone,I have a major problem. When i start drawing anything, my screen just stays white. (Not just while drawing, all the time) I can click on the symbols that are used to be on the screen. So it’s just the screen who doesn’t updates or whatever. I tried to reinstall the program but still the same mistake.Can anyone help me? Any ideas? I added one pic of the screen.Would be greatGreetings Friedrich

In a project, when i first open it, I have all action icons available in top row. When I drill down to a sub folder all of the actio icons disappear. When I return to the root the action icons are gone. When I log out of windchill, and then reenter the project the actions are back again. But not at the sub folder level.Help!

I am a new user to MathCAD 15. I really like the software since it displays equations in easy-to-read format and allows you to easily add text for documentation. However, it seems to me that the software (as I use it) is really only useful for "single" calculations, where you are only interested in one result.I will often input a bunch of equations, and then go back and change some of my input variables to see how it affects my results. Basically, like a sensitivity analysis. Is there any way to do this in a way that lets you compare the results side-by-side? I will sometimes use a matrix or vector for one of my input variables, and simply put various values that I want to vary into it. This only works in certain instances though, since if you multiply two matrices together it gives a scalar result. I have tried using range variables for this, but I can't seem to get range variables to work in most of my equations...I will get an error about dimensional ranges requiring second data set

I've lost the ability to double click on a dimenions and type in the desired value. Please help!!!If I draw a simple rectangle in sketcher and then hit Select, the dimensions will show up. But when I double click on a dimension to change it, nothing happens. I can't edit the dimension. I do have the option of right click/modify, at which point I can use the thumbwheel to modify the dimension, but this is slow and impractical for daily use.Also, If I go to an existing part. Even something simple as a cube. I can't double click on the feature and then the dimension to change it. I've lost the ability to edit features or dimensions for existing parts. I've rebooted my system, but that didn't help. I tried it on a new part with only a simple rectangle, and it wouldn't work either. I'm running Creo 2.0 on a windows 7 laptop. Which has been fine for the past couple of years. This is a new problem that has just cropped up. Any help on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. I'm stuc

Hallo zusammen,ich habe auf der Oberfläche eines Körpers mit Freiformkurvenbegrenzung eine Arbeitsebene gelegt.Auf dieser Arbeitsebene habe ich die Freiformkante des Körpers mit "3D-Geometrie - 3D-Kurve - ...Mehr - Kurve umwandeln" erzeugt.Diese jetzt auf der Arbeitsebene erstellte Freiformkurve möchte ich parallel (rechtwinklig, als in Normalenrichtung, zum Krümmungsverlauf der Kurve) auf der Arbeitseben verschieben.Mit "3D-Geometrie - 3D-Kurve - ...Mehr - Kurve positionieren" finde ich nicht das richte Ergebnis.Wo finde ich die richte Anweisung? I am using listbox control for selections. It works fine except when there is a case where array contains only one element. I am new to scripting and dont know how to change the script to show only one selection value in listbox. Can you help. I have attached file for reference.

One of the users at work just recently experienced a strange occurance with a model he has been working on over the past couple of days. He opened the model he was working on, and noticed that certain features have changed color. See below:I've personally never seen anything like it. Any idea as to what could've caused this? We're running Creo 2.0 M070.

I started by downloading creo 2.0 student edition through the download manager as instructed, it downloaded with a blank page icon rather than zipped folder, and didnt show up in my documents. so i deleted it and retried downloading it though the HTTP link, wich produced a 3.32 GB zipped file and when you try to extract it says the folder is empty? anyone know what might be going on, and how i can solve it!

I am trying to dowmload the student version creo 2.0 but due to internet breakdown and load shedding it always ends up with a network error. Is there any other ay to downlaod the software? perhaps updating a torrent link to the website?

So I am trying to create a simplified rep using the zone selection feature in Creo 2. Zone creation works fine, but when I try to use the zone to create a new simplified rep I encounter this selection issue. The warning I get is " Selection reaches its limitation 14000; the selections beyond this limitation have been ignored".This is irritating. Is there any way I can change this setting to increase the selection buffer size? Hey - and happy easter!I've just started using Mathcad Prime 3, instead of mathcad 15. Horrible, I must say. But my question here, is about symbolic solving. I have the following equation:And I'd really like to have all my known values at the right side of the equals sign. These values are xa and ya - the rest I'd like to have on the left side. Is there any function in mathcad Prime that can do that? I am aware of, it is possible doing on your own, but let's face it - I haven't done so in a lot of years, and I forgot how. And I'm stupid as a stone! Greetings!I am a novice Prime 3 user of programming functionality. The attached file contains two tables with multiple arrays of varying length. My objective is to derive best curve fits for each pair of array columns, T0, P0 , in this example (366 pairs total), and output the fit parameters into another table. As a means of checking each curve fit, I will examine each graphically. This task would appear to be reasonably simple using programming but setting up the iteration and output is a tall hurdle at the moment. Thanks!Tom

We're having an issue with a startup script our IT staff has written for Creo2. When Creo2 is started, the script copies down a network config.pro file (from a network drive), and loads it for the current session. What is odd, is that this config.pro file shows as being active in the current session, but the settings for start_model_dir does not work. When you create a new part/assembly, is still defaults to the default Creo parts. As you know, If I change the settings manually in the local config.pro (in the start dir) is works fine. The IT staff were hoping to automate the start up scripts so that all users pull the same config.pro, and we're all pointing to the right start parts and assemblies. This was set up at a previous employer, and was a good way to roll out config changes without having to modify each workstation locally. Upon some prodding, the IT folks were kind enough to give it a shot, but it seems they are experiencing some difficulties. My appologies if I'm not describi

My previous question was solved, but now I'm having another issue with the same mathcade file. The first 8 equations in the solve block are correct, so the error lies within my Temperature equation, I believe. The error I'm getting right now states 'the number of functions must be equal to the number of equations.'
