I've been working on this file for a couple days now, but I'm not getting it to solve. I removed the reaction rate terms (R__) just to test and see if my mass balances were correct, by inputing dummy values for the R's. The balances were calculated correctly this way. SO, my problem lies in how I'm integrating my R terms into my balances, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm not a professional with mathcad, so it may even be a small error. Any help would great!

Hello Mathcad community!I'm unexpirienced Mathcad user, but I was able to solve all my problems and misunderstandings by myself. Till now.I'm trying to analyse the experiment results of electric field measurement. It's sort of empirical method(so there is bit mess).I had done some programming in Mathcad prime succesfully, but now I can't find where my mistake is.I'm attaching sheet and imgs.Thank you for any kind of help.PS.: I'm using Mathcad Prime 3.0

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I could not find the answer to my question. I have defined a function t(x), and I would like to plot its results against a different domain than the one I use to generate the range or "y" values. It seems like I may have to use the function I've created to generate an array of values, then simply plot those against an array of the same dimension with the x values I would like to plot against. In my worksheet that I've attached, I would like to evaluate my function t(x) against the domain x_i, then use those results and plot against the domain x_plot. Thanks for any assistance.

Can anybody explain why we get different result for the boolean comparison dependent on whether we use the return statement or not?IMHO the second expression using the return (which I consider good style) is yielding a wrong result.EDIT: A symbolic eval would not even simplify the result to a number (a second symbolic or numeric eval afterwards will do) - its weird!!EDIT2: The very same behaviour is shown in Prime 3, too

Gurus,I've just been assisting a colleague (who's new to Mechanica) to set up an analysis. This analysis lends itself to cyclic symmetry, albeit only two-fold. He's successfully split the surfaces (actually using volume regions I think) and created a cyclic symmetry constraint, which has correctly recognised a 180° angle.However, when we run the analysis there is significant displacement into the symmetry 'plane', and it's all in one direction ('outwards' or 'plus material') rather than the 'S'-shape I'd consider acceptable for this constraint. It looks suspiciously as though it's not actually enforcing the constraint, or at least not as we want it.Possibly relevant: this is a contact assembly with two components and several volume regions on each, underneath the contact location in 'onion layers'. He's selected all the relevant surfaces for each half of the symmetry constraint, and there are no obvious discontinuities in the stresses which would suggest a missed surface.Has anyone don

Hey folks,I have a drawing with views being driven by an assembly simplified rep. One of the components is a skeleton part which contains some important axes. Even though I'm usually able to successfully manipulate the silly new Show Model Annotations box, I'm stumped as to how to get those axes from the skeleton.prt to show so I can dimension to them. Most of the other components' axes show up for selection, but some do not - including the skeleton. The skeleton.prt is part of the simp rep (derived from top-level Master), so I assume I can eliminate that as the cause.What am I missing, or am I not able to do this at all?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. HelloGiven a checkpoint, do you know a way - by command line - to get/download the project as of the checkpoint time and in the head revisions configuration (instead of member revision).To get the the checkpoint and its member revisions as of you can create a build sandbox.To get the sandbox head revision state, you can checkout the sandbox without lock.I am not sure the check-out of a build sandbox would do what I want.Many thanksThierry

Hi.I would like to know if it's possible rename atomatically the names of the instanced groups. Here's an example: I instanced 5 relays and deteleted K02 relay. I want rename automatically the other instanced relays to have from K01 to K04 . Is it possible?Thanks

I am importing data in Mathcad by reading excel file. I want to import worksheet names in listbox for selection. I am new to VB script but with help from various posts on this forum, I have now a script for doing this. But the program is not functioning properly. When I click on sheet 1 in listbox, it gives output as sheet 2 (if I remove +1 in the script for output, it gives error on GetText). Also I am not able to click on last worksheet name as well in list box. Can you please let me know what is the error? I have attached file for reference.

I copied font "Comis Sans" (do not smile, it is for company logo ) from win folder to font folder in Creo. After picking this font for table text styl nothing happen. It is like the font is not there, but i choose it from the list and adjusted size and everything.What did i do wrong?

I'm sure I should know the answer to this. Perhaps I'm just being dim, but...   I have an assembly made up of 5 different components. Each of these components has a family table with a number of key dimensions varied in each instance. I want to make a large number of assemblies, each made up of a different combination of instances of the base components. I think there are 48 variants in total. I really don't want to create 48 different assemblies manually. What is the best way to do this? I can think of Simplified reps, with a base model containing every single instance of every component, but that seems like a lot of clicking to select only the instances required. I don't think I can edit them in Excel, for example. I did think of Assembly Family Tables, but I couldn't figure out how to use a different instance of a component in any given assembly instance. I also thought (briefly) about Pro/Program, J-Link, etc. I have no idea how to use anything like that, and I am anxious that

I have a model that I opened this morning and I cannot see it on the screen.But when I highlight it in the model tree, it is there.I don't think it is a graphics issue because I am not having problems with any other files.Anyone have some thoughts as of how to resolve this game of peek-a-boo (or hide and seek)?Thanks, Dale

What changes do I have to make?The thing is this: I need to find some dimensions so that a the value of N is equal to the volume (V) of the blue geometric form.N I know. The volume i determined being the triunghiular pyramid minus the two with green.The formulas I determined are aproximative, but the values must be similar to: S=1.03; t=1.09; p1=260.06; p2;90.11; p4=75.39. Yes, I know there is no p3. A is the area.So the question is: how to arrange those formulas so that the algorithm finds S,t,x1,y1,p1,p2,p3 so that N=V?Thanks.

Hello all,I have a problem with my PDF output.I created a map with a lot of topics and a stylesheet in order to publish a PDF file.However the published PDF always contains a blank page at the end of the map which never goes away.Then I checked its resolved map and found out that <ReferredTopics> element and <FlattenedMap> element is added after <ResolvedMap>.It seems both of the elements have "Forced Page Break" and either of them is playing a trick.Do you know how and where to delete those elements? Hi, i would like to ask how can i create a drawing template with table, which is filled with user inputs everytime i open this template. Not sure if you understand so i attached a file which i used with Inventor. I would like to work in Creo, but i need to make drawings as i need and can not get it right. Inventor handled this better i think. Could you please dive me a hint how to do just the same template as i attached. What would cause ACM to no longer allow users to rename files?As far as I know, permissions have not been altered. Users that were able to rename files a week ago are no longer able to do so.Is there somewhere specific I should look to investigate what might have happened?

I am trying to import data into Mathcad from Excel file by using file reading function. I have data on multiple worksheets in that excel spreadsheet file. I am able to import the data successfully. Along with data, I want to import name of that excel worksheet as well. Is there any way to import names of worksheets present in the excel file?

Can someone tell me if this is normal or if I have something wrong here. I realize they are very small, but my radii are showing up as straight lines in my drawing.
