Hi all,maybe there isn't the correct place where post this thread, but I've thought this would be the most suitable.At work my workstation has a Nvidia Quadro K4000 3D card and I wonder which settings I can put for ProE WF5.Before I had the Basic Profile in 3D settings tab, after I've put the only option inherent with 3D cad, that is "Dassault Systemes CATIA - compatible".(Look at picture)It is right? I'm needing to find the best way to move an imported STEP model into position using Creo Parametric.As you can see in the picture the imported model is quite a distance from where it's origin should be and the model is tilted in a couple axis.Can this be moved in the Import Data Doctor? I tried doing this but couldn't even create an axis on the imported model.Would this be easier to do in Assembly?This is in the customer machined position but needs to be in the die position.We do not have the Flexible Modeling package.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. it really made me headacke. creo2.0 can't not set a key to off/on all layers, but off/on one specified layer is OK. anybody could help me? I appreciate U very Much!!!

Hello there!Since I've been around these forums earlier, I've been conviced to work with mathcad prime 3.0!At the minut I'm doing som old tests, to see what problems i might face.I faced one! 🙂I apologize for the language - it's danish.As you probably already realized, z2 should be going around in a circle - but I have no idea as how I'll make mathcad do that!I really hope some clever heads in here, can help me out!Have great day!Ben

Currently no preview picture is created when step files are uploaded as CAD document. Only when uploaded as a standard document.It´s important that the step file is a CAD document (to link it with WTParts), but it´s also important that there is a preview picture created.How do you deal with that?

Hello,I am looking to make a point on the datum plane shown where the axis datum intersects it. I have tried drawing a point on this plane and using the coincident tool, this seams like it should work but the point moves to a random location.A bit of background to what im trying to do. Im looking to create a sketch showing where internal feature points would appear on an X-ray image. I'm having some trouble configuring the windchill desktop integration. For the Server Base URL, I simply copied and pasted the address exactly as it appears in the address bar:http://wcdevj.mycompany.com/Windchill/app/However, I get the errors shown below. I found this thread: http://communities.ptc.com/thread/52013, but the accepted answer of "Capitalization matters with windchill" doesn't seem to help.

Hi,Just wondering if you can adjust the height of text in a note or dimension? If I have a pattern of holes for example and I reference them as below. IIs there any way to tell which version of Windchill I am using. I am a member of a RWDC Team.

Hi All,I recently formatted my laptop. So I sent PTC support for new licenses to install these two products. However when I receievd the licenses, I installed them in the respective MathCAD folders in the C Drive of my laptop. When prompted for licenses by MathCAD software , I point the software to the license path. But still neither MCAD 15 or Prime 2 works. I have tried all ways, but this licensing system is a big draw back on MCAD. This was the same issue when I tried to install last time also. PTC need to work on a simple mechanism to solve the licensing issues. I have other software, and not a single software has these kinds of licensing issues. But MCAD seem to be a totally unproffesional software (not to mention the poor reviews of Prime1, 2 and 3 and their functionality). I wanted to upgrade to Prime 3, but due to the poor reviews and without any necessary improvements, I had put the upgrading on hold. Hello,I use Integrity 10.4 and I would create traces between a current document and another that is already baselined. Is is possible to do that? If no, how do you manage the fact that it is better to trace to a baseline document (because nobody is modifying it), and the person who has baselined his document can continue to work on the next document version?Regards.

How do you change the linestyles of certain views within a drawing in Creo 2.0? As you can see in the image, one piece of the equipment is shown in a phantom linestyle and another piece attached is shown as normally viewed. Problem I have is that I am solving for 12 variables using Simultaneous Equations. This I have done. However, now I want to change one of the constants (theta) several times to specific values and solve the Simultaneous Equations for each value of theta. I have tried to give the initial values of the variables several values in matrix format along with the several values of the constant and this did not work. I also tried to give the inital values of the variables with respect to the constant along with the several values of the constant and this also did not work. Hi all,I have a system of two coupled second order ODE equations that I would like to solve symbolically. I have checked Mathcad' quicksheet and browsed this forum, but to no avail. Most of the information I find is on numeric solvers. At first glance I though it could be done in matrix form, but then I don't know how to go about.Is this at all possible? I'm looking for a way to export all the usernames in the windchill system. Ultimately the goal will probably be to import those names into an excel spreadsheet. Any suggestions?As a side note, (and please forgive me if I misuse terms here), what possibilities are there to access Windchill using VBA. Hello,In the PTC introduction video "PTC Mathcad in Action", it shows an example "Turbine Blade Design". The format of that document looks good and it shows how to use Mathcad feature in practice. Does PTC privides that example free and where can I find it?Thanks,Simon

Hy! I've created an algorithm. I've attached it.In this algorithm I have assigned initial values to x1,y1,p1,p2,p3,p4.Then I inserted a "while" function. My question is: why don't the variables take the new values? For example: Q is the new value of A. This means that x1,x2,p1,p2,p4 have new values, but the results that the algorithm gives me are still the initial values. I want the new values that variables have untill the "while" function is fulfilled.Thanks.
