I would like to change our formats (title block table) to display the proi_revision in the REV box instead of manually typing in the current rev. Does anyone do this, are there any issues that we might encounter in the future?

Try this - make a U-shaped datum curve. Then sketch a datum curve spine from the curve in the plane of the U-curve. Then pattern using the Curve option. The shape one should get is a U-shape with a bunch of lttle spines sticking out of the same side, like a beard, if the spine started towards the outside.What I get in WF5 is spines that float away from the U in the radius portion of the curve and then reattach on the wrong side. Apparently there is a flawed assumption made by the Curve pattern generator that the geometry is equally biased on the curve. To 'fix' this I tried to add equal disposition about the curve. So I create the spine like I want, but had a tiny line segment on the other side that extends just as far away. Hopefully the little segment is not noticeable. I then replaced the tiny segment with a geometry point (not the default sketch point, but the other one). This also worked as long as it was the same distance away from the curve as the furthest extent of the line. I

Hi all,I'm new to windchill and what I'm trying to do is pretty much what Rick was trying to do here (a remote integration with windchill). I read the User's guide, the section about the web service tooling, how to create a web service and the section about the available webjects.What i don't understand is how those webjects are exposed to a third-party application. There's a list of (SOAP) web services already implemented and available to use? Or do I have to create tasks that use these webjects and than create the web services for these tasks?I hope i was clear, Marco.

In a previous version of ProEngineer I was able to assign a value to a varible then use it to build a parametric model. An example I could give D the value of 4.00 and then set a dimension in my model d1=D, then I could build relations from there. I could go back and change the value of D, regen the model and everything would change accordingly. I have a curve I'm trying to fit with cspline and interp (see the attached calculation). Unfortunately, my y axis data oscilates so I had to write my function in terms of the x axis and use csort to make everything work. I was able to get a function M(phi) which works, but what I really need is phi(M) of an integral I need to perform on phi. So, what I need to do is rewrite my function in the opposite terms (I'm not sure what the math terminology would be here). Any suggestions? What is the proper term for what I'm trying to do? Thanks.

Hello, so I am trying to model a wing here but i am stuck with a problem. I want the wing to curve at the end (like the picture at the bottom) but I just seems like I can't find any way to do it. I've been trying everything (blend, swept, extrusion) but it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to do this? Desperate need in help. Dear community,I want to rotate matrix around specific index in Mathcad15. Of course, in that case, the index becomes a center of rotation. I'm aware of the function rotate(M, angle) but the result is not the one i wanted. How can I achieve this?Thanks,Goran

User has checked out a document from Windchill and opened it in Arbortext Editor 6. The user has made revisions and now wants to "save" the file. The user gets the following message:Cannot find path specifiedError: [A11972]She is also unable to check the file back into Windchill as the system doesn't recognize her changes.Could this have something to do with the user's cache folders or temp folders? If not, what are the other possibilities?

Is it just me or is everyone seeing this random tool numbering ?When I use templates that I have created in Process Manager from other milling / drilling sequences it seems the tool numbers seem to be random. It used to be the tool order was set as they were selected by sequence number in the model tree (sequence 1 tool 1,sequence2 tool 2) now they seem to be just random tool numbers. the only thing I can think of is they follow the numbering of the sequence the templates were created from.Getting old having to go in and set the tool number to the order I want them to be in which is the same as the sequence order in the model tree.this has been going on for a while I have just had enough of the re-ordering of the tools for every jobCre2.0 M080 This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I have a set of measurements of a process performed in cycles (labeled as O). The set of data contains one x-axis and multiple y values. For each y column i.e. each measurement cycle, I want to find its maxiumum value and to match it to corresponding value on x scale (first column in data set).When I try with match function I obtain a nested array as a result. Is there a way to present nested array to set of (x,y) data?

I downloaded the free student version and it didn't come with the license, therefore I can't run it. Has anyone else come across this issue?

Hi,We are trying to upload all our standard calculations to sharepoint. I have uploaded them as .XMCD files however when you click on the link the files do not open correctly and there is an error.We can download the copy which then opens but opening the link directly from sharepoint does not work.We are using MathCad Version 15.0 although some of the MathCad sheets were created in MAthCad 14.0.We are using Sharepoint 2010.

Hi, I am new to Creo Parametric and trying to switch from SolidWorks. The thing I've noticed while working on assemblies is that i couldn't find a Toolbox feature (similar to Solidworks) from which I can insert different types of fittings (i.e. washers, nuts, bolt and screws ... etc.). For the moment I am modeling every fitting that I need to use, which is very boring and time consuming... When creating a NC assembly (.asm) in Creo2.0, a ".tph" is created in my workspace when I save it. As titled...So frustrating. I have un-installed and re-installed... ran in compatibility mode... and yet still, everytime I run Creo 2.0 I can get into the program and sketch something simple such as a rectangle. Hi,I have problem with plotting 3D surface of my fransfer function. I have defined my function, but when I try to plot itit says that my transfer function should be a scalar, or matrix.I am attaching my mathcad file. Can anyone tell me what am i doing wrong please? Thank you

I'm not entirely sure what to accurately call these, so I haven't had much luck in finding help creating such. At the moment, I'm working to take 2D AutoCAD drawings and turning them into 3D Creo Parametric 2.0 models as well as to recreate the drawings in Creo. In particular, I'm floundering on how to make more complex section views display in my drawings. Attached is a simplified ref of the original AutoCAD views I'm trying to replicate. I can cut it like the model via an actual extrude but I can't figure out how to get a view looking flat at both cut faces at once. I've also tried to create a xsec with two datum planes in the model itself to then put on the drawing as a 3D cross section, but at that point the view doesn't display the two cutting planes as flat, instead displaying the angled side as coming out of the page and as such a portion of the outer surface is displayed and any attempt to dimension on the view is rendered skewed and worthless. Hello everyone....I was in the process of making a program (attached), but received an error ("this variable is undefined") for the second "break" command, which you should all be able to see.I do not understand why I have this error. I have looked at the 'f1' help...which is usually of no actual help.....and I have looked over what I have many times and I'm not seeing the mistake.Could someone take a look please and see if anything looks wrong?Thanks
