We have EPMDocument with 30+ soft attributes. While creating EPMDocument, user enters value only for few attributes. Now, while displaying EPMDocumet, I want to show only those attributes which has some value. I don't want to display those attributes which do not have any value. How can this be achieved? We are on WC 10.

Ok, so, I'm doing some eLearning (don't really like it) to refresh myself on sheetmetal, and found something interesting: I thought that the green side was ALWAYS on on side or the other. I have an extremely tricky problem that I have no idea how to program into Mathcad as my experiance is limited to say the least.I have two tables as shown below I have a number of scenarios I need to run to get the correct data. 1. Gc = 0.111 - Therefor can use Table A-2 only. N = 0.002 - Can use the N≤0.003 side of the table. M = 0.65 - Have to interpolate between 0.6 and 0.8. Results required for - C1, C2, C3 and Kb. I have worked these out as C1 = 0.25, C2=7.75, C3=0.6, Kb=8.752. Gc = 0.111 - Therefor can use Table A-2 only. N = 0.004 - Interpolate between the N≤0.003 side and 0.006 ≤ N ≤ 0.024 side of the table. M = 0.65 - Have to interpolate between 0.6 and 0.8. Results required for - C1, C2, C3 and Kb. I recently installed two Workgroup Managers, SolidWorks & AutoCAD, and in the process I went from (1) Method Server to (6) Method Servers. I was told that the WCA ran and it is what decided I needed 6 method servers based off of our Hardware Available. Well I wouldn't have an issue with it, if it wasn't for the fact that now there are separate log files for each Method Server.This creates a huge headache when searching through logs to sort out an issue. Especially when PTC Tech Support has you turn on very intrusive logging and it creates a new 9MB file every 5-10 seconds...Now Tech Support told me to go in to %WCHOME%\utilities\wca and edit the configurator.properties file, so that the max number of method servers was 2. I also was told to change the windchillconfigurator.xconf file property of "<Property name="wt.manager.monitor.start.MethodServer" overridable="true" targetFile="codebase/wt.properties" value="2"/>After restarting the server it still starts up 6. After a bit of digging I found that the company was bought by PTC and the software is now integrated into WindChill Products.My question is: What WindChill Product do I need in order to use this? and where can I obtain a copy to evaluate?Thank You in advance

We recently just moved to Windchil 10.0 and have noticed a few weird things popping up all of a sudden. The latest issue I have run into is proving very difficult to come up with a solution for, even with the help of PTC tech support. tired of waiting on them so I thought maybe someone else could lend a hand.Issue: We have two Family tables and both of them have somehow got the same part saved to them. 120367.prt is in both but different Versions...Thought maybe I could rename one, but you rename one and the other picks it up. You go to Delete and it throws an error about the other instance and won't let you do anything. Does anybody have any ideas as to what else a person could do to get either one of the instances renamed or even just out of Windchill? 3 weeks on this issue and I am drawing at straws now!Thanks in advance.

Hello,I'm currently working on a rather large project for generating the geometry of worm gears correctly.I started optimizing some existing modules, but I keep comming across the same problem.I try to minimize the load for the computer by programming commands and only executing them when neccessary through if-queries.But I keep failing to create the "old" output-structure needed for 3d-Plots and my meshing-methods. Can someone take look at the uploaded file and tell me how I can get my "old" data-structure through the use of these commands?Kind regards,Jon

Hello folks,I tried the Prime 2 sheet labelled "free-fall.xmcd" in order to familiarize myself with the ODE. I ran into a problem when changing the guess value's unit from imperial (ft) to metric (m). Prime doesn't compute telling me that the units are not compatible (see attached worksheet).Until now I supposed this to be the raison d'etre of MathCad that it converts units automatically. Am I missing here something?RaikoP.S.Changing all guess value's units to metric didn't help either.

Does anyone know if Mathcad 15 will install on the new Windows 8 operating system?

Hi,I'm currently working on preparing a rather large mathcad-document allowing me new scientific calculations on worm gears.I'm currently working on improving the existing modules in order to reduce the load for the computer.I'm having trouble creating a certain data-structure. Previously I always used for-loops for performing operations. But this lead to many commands being executed even though they were not neccesary. Therefore I'm changing the existing code to a command-form that allows selective execution through if-queries. Programming in Mathcad works well, but when I execute some commands I need to place the output in subarrays...and I cant get the right data-structure out of this...Could someone take a look at the uploaded file an maybe tell me how I can recreate the old data-structure?Kind regards,Jon

I have a family table of an assembly, I have patterned a part but need different instances of this part to be shown in each family member. Example is I have 7 parts patterned in a direction, in the first family member parts 1 3 5 & 7 need to be shown in family member 2 parts 2 4 & 6, I know you can turn off instances but this does it for all family members. can you modify this per family member? Does anyone know how to turn off the text that pops up when you hover your mouse over something?

My company just started using Windchill with Creo 2.0, we have some uses using Windows 7 and some still using Windows XP. For my Windows XP users Windchill seems to be very slow. It is much slower than for my Windows 7 users. Is there anything I can do to increase the performance for the XP users? Upgrading to Windows 7 is not an option at this point, because of an old program they are using that 7 does not support. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello, I have a large group of version 3 CGM files that need to be converted to version 4 CGM. I have drawing size settings in Isodraw that need to be maintained in the conversion. Does anyone have a batch process or macro that will run in Isodraw to accomplish this? I’m not versed in creating macros or writing code. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello everyone,I have had to convert a MathCAD spreadsheet from one of the old formats to Prime 2.0 and I am having trouble with program functionality. The spreadsheet is essentially a group of sub-programs or routines that are called on in a larger program further down in the sheet (pg. 37). At this point the program will not run due to a "These values cannot be compared" error. I have converted similar worksheets with essentially the same sub-programs and sub routines and not had this problem. The error appears to be the Evolve sub-program (Pg. 33) but it does not provide the source ofthe error.Any explanation as to what is wrong and how to fix it would be appreciated.

In Damian's freestyle video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02qZ6Ez1zpI), the mesh is visible on the surface. How does one enable this?   When I started a primative, I only see the control box mesh...no mesh on the the surfaces.   Thanks,Matt

I would like to add a text on my gear (solid part) using data from my parameters.Normally I would write: "Mod &m, &z teeth" refering to my parameters with the "&".Sadly the text line does not accept this. We are migrating our users from the Windchill Open DS LDAP to an existing enterprise Active Directory LDAP. How do we map a user from the old LDAP to the new? The only way I have been able to do this is to disconnect the user from the old LDAP, and then-through the principal administrator- reconnect the user to the newer LDAP entry.We have considered writing a script but aren't sure if anyone has used any other methods.
