I am trying to work on a Florida Department of Transportation file to design a flat slab bridge, Ex2_FlatSlab.HBK, but cannot do so. I've opened the document but all I get is a blank page, none of the file is shown. What am I doing wrong?.

I try to import some 2D data with the option "Data from File". I tried many things in autocad like closed polylines or blocks. However when I import the sketch there are open lines and overlaps between curves and lines. So I guess it has something to do with the import routine. Then I changed some config.pro settings but this didn't helped either. I have Creo Elements Pro 5 (m170 education).I don't know what to do after 7 hours trying to import 2D data. Could it be that this expensive professional software cannot handle 2D files? I'm pretty new to MathCad and trying to integrate, however my integration is not converging. The problem seems to be in the sigma calculation since when I remove it from the second equation the calculation converges. The calc is listed below. z is defined as a vector from 5 to 50 ft and calculated every foot. Thank you very much!

Being new to Creo, and knowing Solidworks and Inventor is there a good Manual or book that can get me up to speed with the basics of Creo?

Referring to the attached file, page 22, i would ask if someone could tell me how insert that commands (contact_penetration; contact_nr_its) and also the enviroment variable ( MSE_CONTACT_TOLERANCE_FACTOR).   Furthermore, I would be pleased if someone could give me the guide lines to solve the contact problem in the second attached file.   I've already faced this problem recently, but I've never known if I done all right. The semplifications in the geometry are made because the lower part of the shaft don't move; indeed, if you look at the suppressed parts, you look other bushings that constrain the shaft. I'm interested know the contact pressure between shaft and the highest bushing.   In the end, some questions about contact interfaces: - Slit surfaces: is it always reccomended to check it? - Generate compatible mesh: all the times I've checked it, I had some convergence prolem. So..? - Kind of references: surface-surface or component componet. Are there any difference

Currently designing a frame with multiple bends. Is there a way to make your own dimensions as the ones it makes for me aren't useful in creating a frame that is easy to fabricate. I want to make L3 or L2 round numbers since I want to make my fabricrating job as easy as possible but can't figure out how. Also, is there a way to erase dimensions it put on for you? hallo leute! ich möchte gern eine dll (um auf die Gärete am port eines Computer zuzugreifen )die Funktionen sollen in C geschrieben werden. Hi,I'd like to know if it's possible to search subfolders recursively using the Windows Explorer integration of DTI? The current behavior seems to search only in the current folder, which acts more like a filter of the listed files than a real search.If this is not possible, please consider adding this feature in future versions.Thanks!

Hi, I'm currently working on a project which involved some oscillation testing of a scale model. The issue I'm having is that there is a phase lag in the output data, i.e. the maximum force does not correspond with a zero crossing of amplitude as it should. Rather, it is either in phase with the force, or anti-phase with the force. I was hoping there was some way to sort this in MathCAD, it isn't a straightforward phase shift as the phase lag differs with each test run. Is there some coding that would allow to me to check for the various times at which amplitude = 0, and then adjust the data in the force column so that Fmax correlates with A = 0? The frequency and thus period are the same, so by sorting the phase shift corresponding to 1 point, the rest of the data should fall in place accordingly. Hopefully, this could be applied regardless of which data file is used so that for all test runs, Fmax correlates with a zero crossing of amplitude, and the results can be readily obtained.

Good morning,I am reading an excellent book regarding differential models: "Differential Models: An Introduction with MathCad" (english version, by Alexander Solodov and Valery Ochkov). Even if I have been working with MathCad for several years and I have developped a good undesrtanding of programing and other software capabilities, I have no experience with differential models and that's why I start practicing with all the examples I found in this book.The question: I having some troubles with one of the examples, the movement of water drop in air by gravity and resistance force. I tried to follow, step by step, all the calculation shown in the book, but for some reason I didn't get the same answer. Hi!I've been trying to install Creo 2.0 student version using PTC installation assistant, and I get to the application selection menu. Under "All applications will be installed at:"I am free to select a drive other than C:. However, when I change the drive I want to install to, a popup warns me there is insufficient space on disk (0 available). I have tried temporarily freeing most of the drive, and the issue persists. Additionally, if I switch to 😧 and back to C:, it continues to say there is insufficient space (0 available), despite there being sufficient space before I changed to D:!This is all quite baffling. My C: drive is a small solid-state drive, so I try to keep applications that require frequent or significant loading on that drive for speed. Creo is not such an application, so I would like to put it on my platter drive D:. Unfortunately, I seem to be unable to do this.I have tried: - Deleting the downloaded installer files and redownloading. - Manually typing in the file lo

I've been having an issue since installing Creo 2.0 where I'm trying to create an assembly and pull in parts, but they're not constraining correctly. I was watching a Creo Primer video, and the speaker said that Creo is smart and will automatically learn the constraints you've been using on a part and will apply them the next time you pull the part in. My problem is that mine will not automatically learn the constraints, and I have to go back and re-select the parts and constrain them manually. This isn't a terrible issue, but it is annoying when the video says that something SHOULD happen and it doesn't. Hi everyone,I am currently trying to create an EPMDocument by using a robot. More specifically, I would like to use a robot to create a notebook, as it is called in Creo (or "layout", if you're using Pro Engineer Wildfire). Does anyone know how to do that? Hi all, I'm trying to get sheetmetal drawing from part created with swept blend feature. The trouble I'm having is to use edge rip tool to split the curve. The part I would like to make is attached here. I have tried a simpler pyramid shape (square top square bot) and was successful in making the sheetmetal. Thanks in advance for your help. I currently have a couple of construction circles on a sketch and I would like to make the intersection of two contruction circles a datum point. Is this possible? Wildfire 4.0, Pro/Cabling.I have a routed cable, going from an entry port on one connector to the entry port on another connector, via a couple of p-clips (routed 'Along Axis'). Now I want to insert another P-Clip. How do I do that? The only solution I have so far found is to delete the cable and start routing it again! I'm sure there is a better way...Whilst on the subject, does every connector have to have a different part name? I found that, once I had designated an entry port on the first connector '15_w_d_type', I could not then choose the second connector '15_w_d_type' entry port for the other end of the cable. It was fine if the second connector was called '15_w_d_type_2'. That doesn't sound right, either. I can surely use the same standard part at each end of a cable.The documentation on this subject, as you will be aware, is a little sparse. For example, a hydraulics cylinder with the extended or retracted shaft.To handle assembly states either subassemblies and/or simplified representations of the main assembly could be used.The question boils down to what technique to use for modeling variations of the part shapes?Flexible Models -seems to offer the maximum flexibility- dimensions as well as suppressed/unsuppressed feature states could be manipulated.The drawbacks are, at least to my knowledge, multiple components in various states have to exist in the assembly or subassembly context, and simplified representations have to have master/exclude rules to be explicitly defined which makes maintaining assemblies more challenging task.Part Simplified Representations – seems to be easiest to make with suppress/unsuppressed feature states.
