Hello!In pro mechanica, I have done a static study. Now I need to estimate stresses at certain distace in the model. Hello!I am trying to create a weld part(no weld feature) the problem in it is, it has a different profile and angled guidance line so need an easy way to create it...Does anybody have any idea?all dimensions are in mmit can be done in swept blend with 8 points different sketch. I'm trying to avoid doing an extensive if then statement for all possible angle weights. I'm currently running a Dell Precisioon m67000, with a nvidia quattro 4000m, i7 processor,16gb ram etc.My problem is that when i work with some huge assemblies, roughly 2gb my computer chokes, either not responding or just using ages just to go between sub assemblies.Which is essential for me to do.Would a regular workstation work better for me?Appricate some suggestions on what i should get.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello Mathcad community,I'm a student trying to get a Mathcad sheet to work. I want to solve a system of 2 partial differential equations (PDE) with the Pdesolve function. I got several different sheets working with just 1 PDE, but now I have a system of 2 PDE's I can't get it working.My calculation is a transient cooldown of a 2 layer composite ''plate'' with a steady state temperature distribution to begin with. I got 2 PDE's to discribe the transient cooldown of the 2 different layers and 4 boundary conditions (2 on the ends of the ''plate'' and 2 in the middle at the contact point of both layers). I'm stuck at the error: "The boundary conditions are not consistent with the endpoints specified for the spatial range". Which is strange because 2 PDE's need 4 boundary conditions. I attached a MC11 and a MC15 sheet. I hope someone can help me to solve this.Regards,Jaap

HiWe are currently starting user testing for a Wildfire 5 to Creo 2.0 parametric upgrade and i would like to provide the users with a summary of what's new so that they can get quickly up to speed.All i can find is just sales crap about why you should upgade to Creo and not any usefull user documentation to help you in the transition.Anyone have any idea where i might find such documentation??ThanksHugo

How does one move ribbon commands that reside in a flyout menu or "icon split"? I can't seem to move the "paste special" command. I know I could add it to the quick access bar but I simply want to show it on the main ribbon.

Hello fellows ProEngineers:I need to model NPT Pipe Threads. The "Hole" feature doesn't propose NPT threads.I have found on the "Program Files" a "NPT.hol" and a "NPTF.hol" files, but I am not able to make Creo see these.I have set the "hole_parameter_file_path" variable to the location of these two files, but it still don't work.The NPT don't seems to be accessible either in the "Cosmetic Threads" feature.Any clue on how to make NPT Threads? In the attached MathCAD 14 worksheet I am attempting to do two things. First, I'd like to get the min function to compare the values in two seperates arrays across each row. In the attached worksheet it is comparing all the values in all the rows of the arrays to find the minimum. Second, I'm like MathCAD again to compare values across arrays and set the values to a particular coefficient in the simple if statement program. It is giving an error that the value must be a scalar. What syntax do I need in both cases so that MathCAD will compare the values across the arrays?

I have a part that I would like to cross section like the sketch. The radial holes are at an angle and I would like to show how the angle relates to the countersunk holes in the cross section, so the part is made correctly. How do I do this? I'm fairly new at Creo. When I try to put the equation in the space of inputs execel componet it returns me the error as the image attached.Could someone help me please.

We're using Windchill 10.0 M030 with Wildfire 4 M220 (moving to Creo 2 this fall). Currently I have the publisher in Windchill set to publish drawings as pdf files. Works great, with one exception. The title block cells of the drawing where I have &PTC_WM_REVISION are blank. When the user has the drawing open in Pro/E it displays properly with the revision letter and when we "print" or save-as a pdf of the drawing from the Pro/E session it's fine. For some reason the Windchill publication process drops it / doesn't recognize it. Ideas? Is it something in the recipe settings or a config setting for the session of Pro/E that actually does the publication?ThanksErik
