I'm made a double for leep for a Mathcad sheet and I'm trying to add a variable that counts the total number of times the program loops. For example, if I have 2 for loops, both of them from 0 to two, then the total number of times the program lops is four.Does anyone kow how to do this?

In Creo I am trying to create a section view on a seperate page with a different scale. Originally, the scale of the section view is 10/1. I am trying to make it 50/1. However, when I go to "properties" > "scale" all the options are greyed out. I'm assuming because it is tied to the parent view scale. Is it possible to change the scale on the section view without changing the scale of the parent view?Thank you in advance

Is there any way to modify the toolbar I attached in the picture?It seems like a great place to put some commonly used icons, but I can not figure out how to modify it.thanksMatt

Hello,Is it possible to upgrade directly from Ilink 3.4 to PDMLink 10.0, or do we have to go through PDMLink 9.1? The Intralink Data Migrator seems only to refer to 9.1, when I look at the PTC web site.I would prefer to go straight to 10.0, rather than go through the intermediate step, naturally.I would welcome the benefit of your insight intothis process.We are currently running WF4/Ilink 3.4.Cheers,John

Again in the book "chemical kinetics with maple and mathcad", chapter 4 introduces different ways for rate constants determination. Take figure 4.8 as an example (corresponding attached file is "Fig_4_08_PineneIsomerization_InvTask_MC14" ), numerical integration method is used searching rate constants:but i think that solving ODEs is more direct and general than integration method, so I solve the problem with ODEsolve method:Both methods looks good enough, but differential method results are closer to that of DYANFIT than for integral method.But differential method seems much more initial-condition sensitive than integral method, e.g. if guess values of k1--k4 are all set to 1, the calculation will be very time-consuming. and I dont know how to improve this situation.Does anybody give any suggestions on "lowering/ reducing" the initial - condition sensitivity of differential method?

I am extruding a text into a part. It is for fixturing and there are several of these for different diameters. How do you find the parameter for the text that is being extruded. When I go to Info/Switch Dimensions, I only get the location of the text, but not the paramter for the text. Hi,I'm new to Mathcad and I've been struggling with a problem and wondered if someone could help. I'm using Mathcad to work out Response Spectra for particular ground motion.I'm running a loop of linear acceleration method to find the displacement from ground acceleration. I can run successfully when I look at 1 value for the natural period and then from this I take the maximum absolute value. however, ideally I would like to be able to run at once for various different values of natural period (T) in the attached file. I will have to work out about 1000 of them so need to find a loop to be able to do it. I thought I might be able to do it as a range but I don't think that's possible.I've attached the file and added the ground motion which is about 1600 values but felt it would be best to include.Sorry if this is quite elementary but struggling with it and would be very grateful if anyone could help.ThanksAndrew

I have to replace hundreds of graphic links in a document and am exploring the best method for performing this task.Experimenting, I found an unusual result in my first case.Example:Old graphic link<graphic align="center" fileref="mydirectory\myfilename.jpg" scale=""/>New graphic link<graphic align="center" fileref="mydirectory\myNEWfilename.jpg" scale=""/>After making the above change, my graphic being displayed is very large (travels off of page). I understand I can scale this image using the scale value, however, I prefer to not have to individually scale each image. My first instinct as to this difference of size is the resolution of the images. This is the unusual part ... the original image is 3300x2463 and the replacement image is 768x733. The original image is significantly larger in size, but displays correctly whereas the smaller replacement image travels off of the page. Is there an attribute (like autofit or something) that I am missing? How does the original im

Hi,I can not make edit in a worksheet (that was created in version Mathcad 2001i) in Mathcad 15 M020 and also in Mathcad 11. None of the areas (plot/text comment/calculation) are not editable. There are any suggestions?

Dear all,this should be simple, yet somehow I seem to have forgotten my mechanics 101.Referring to the attached image, I have a pin that runs in a slot. The pin is mounted onto a arm (highlighted in red) that rotates about T1. The part with the slot in it rotates about T2. So when the arm/pin starts rotating, the part with the slot turns about T2.Assuming I know the torque input at T1 = 3.5 lb-in, then the resultant force F should be 3.5/1.25 = 2.8 lbs. No problems there.Then, the resultant torque at T2, I think, is 2.8 * 0.4 = 1.12 lb-in.Does that seem correct to you all? in the book chemical kinetics with mathcad and maple, Figure 4.22 illustrates a very useful and interesting method to answer a reversible kinetic question,   after reading this example, I wanna rewrite it, for I think that Odesolve block is easier to read than Rkadapt() function. But during the recoding , I found that I   must change k to k(t), but this would not bring too much trouble during solving the ODEs. the problem arised during optimization, see the figure  

Dear Community: I am user of MathCad 15. Integrate operation does not work. Integrate( t + a )dt answers 1/2( t + a )^2 instead of 1/2 t^2 + a t. Shoud I install again MathCad? Is it a known bug? Where can I download patches? Zeus.

I am using mathcad 15 on Win7 pro. Open the trace dialogue, click the plot lines, but no response.

I am wondering how i can write a Creo Relation in Mathcad 15. In Creo the relation looks like this:IF MOD_WIDE == 4 LEFT_BAY_MOD_WIDE = 2ELSELEFT_BAY_MOD_WIDE = 3ENDIFSo when the variable MOD_WIDE is defined as 4, then the other variable LEFT_BAY_MOD_WIDE is set equal to 2, otherwise it is 3.Any suggestions?

I'd really appreciate some insight into this problem.I'm trying to model a mold cavity for a kidney that I segmented. I can import the kidney into Creo either as an STL or a point cloud (.pts). I attached both. I tried saving the STL as a .prt file and bringing it into the mold cavity creator, but that didn't work, which was not entirely surprising. I've looked into ways to clean up the STL/solidify it/solidify the point cloud, but I haven't been able to get anything to work.
