Dear Community Is it possible the export subassemblies from a top assembly as PVZ files, with the coordinate system from the top assembly? The goal is to use these PVZ files to reassemble the top assembly in an Vuforia Studio Experience and not have to reposition them. We are using the newest version of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Thanks for your help! Alex

Hello, I'm trying to change the background of a radio button on selection to look like the below snapshot I've tried using style properties but theirs not option to change the background under "selected" or "pressed and selected". Only under focus and base we have the option to change the background but I would like to change the background on the selection of the radio button.I've also tried custom CSS .myCustomClass .widget-content:selected{background: #92ef83} but it doesn't seem to work. Any work around to achieve this would be very helpful, thanks. 

Anybody know why I can't click next and finish licensing MathCad, Same thing is happening on my computer at work and at home.

I downloaded CREO 11.0 after making an education account but I can't find the actual licence file it is asking for at the start of the installation page? I also clicked on the don't have a licence box and I couldn't upgrade my account either, Please see screen shot attachment, Any help on how to find a student licence file would be appreciated, Thanks Jason 

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: I am trying to add new calculated attributes to the table "Subscriptions" on the Windchill homepage.Description: My idea was to first add these new attributes to the type "wt.notify.NotificationSubscription" and then override the subscriptions-table and add these attributes via code. However, I ended up in a quite confusing situation - the elements in this table are of type "com.ptc.core.subscription.subscriptionObjects.NmCompositeSubscription" which is not available in the Type & Attribute management. But when opening elements of this table they are suddenly of type "wt.notify.NotificationSubscription". The problem is, that I thus cannot add these new attributes, as only the type NotificationSubscription is available in the Type & Attribute Management but apparently this is not the underlying type the table uses. Meaning, that the table does not show any values for these new attributes, but when opening such an element in t

In short - I can't not see quilts that present threads within Hole feature, until I select them. Full explanation:Say I start a new empty part, model tree is completely empty aside from a few datum features: Now I create a demo quilt just to demonstrate that Creo settings are presumably correct and quilts are actually displayed. So far so good:  Now I create a solid block with an M6 threaded hole (ignore the random dimmension sizes for the purpose of this example):  A hole feature with thread quilt is created, as can be seen by selection highlight of the hole. However note that there is still only one quilt in the Quilts menu at the top of the tree created by the Fill feature, so it means that Hole didn't create its own new Quilt body@     Now I hide the solid block, and the quilt of the thread is also invisible. However, I can still hover the mouse over it, and it gets pre-select highlighted:  I can select both sides of

Hello everyone, I am seeking help in regards of integration of Altium to windchill as my Bachelor Thesis. I started with the REST interface to windchill and tried using some basic tasks like creating parts, documents etc. using Windchill REST services UI and through Postman. The problem is now i want to create assemblies and ECAD data from Altium and I have no success.I would be thankful if someone can recommend me some resources or hint or have some guidance regarding this. I want to mention here that I already have access to Windchill REST service documentation and i am taking guidance from there. I am beginner and seeking for valuable suggestions.

not getting link of installation after submitting student details

I'm currently using the Mechanism Feature in Creo to analyze the position of a pin joint that is driven by a slider moving at a constant speed of 2 mm/s over a duration of 6 seconds.   However, I'm encountering an issue when I select the "Velocity" option for the analysis. The result of the analysis shows as "not computed." I'm not sure if I'm missing a step in the process or if I might have selected the wrong pin joint or axis for this measure.   Could someone guide me on why this might be happening? Are there specific settings or steps I need to follow to ensure the velocity of the pin joint is calculated correctly?

Hello everyone,I am trying to create a DATE parameter for my startparts, which at the creation of a new part is linked to the parameter PTC_WM_WM_CREATED_ON by a relation, but which can be modified later, if necessary. This, avoiding that users have to modify or remove relations. With these relations the DATA parameter is editable from the day after creation, but I would like to use something better: IF PTC_WM_CREATED_ON == PTC_WM_MODIFIED_ONDATE=PTC_WM_CREATED_ONENDIF I don’t want to be forced to wait a day, but I don’t know if there is another way to do that, using only relations and existing parameters.Any ideas? Thank youMarco p.s.I'm using CREO 8.0.9.0 and Windchill 12.0.2.10 and the date format in Windchill is set on dd-mm-yyyy (08-10-2024)

I have switched Operating System from Windows to Linux. I need Mathcad for school work, so I Virtualized a Windows Machine on my Laptop. I now wanted to install Mathcad on this new Virtualized Windows machine, but when trying to activate the licence, I get an error message that I have too many licence requests for this licence. I guess because I already activated the new licence on the old machine, it now is fixed to that one? I tried activating it via the sw_licence_email_######.dat file I got send on my account email weeks ago when activating on the old machine, but this also didn't work. The error message here is: The licence request failed. Requesting MathcadPrime ... C:\Users\user\Downloads\sw_license_email_######.dat: (-9) Invalid HostHelp or info would be appreciated.Thank you for support

Hi, It is easy using the csort(M,n) command but it only operates on one column. Is there an easy way to sort on first two columns. Also need to add if first two columns are identical ? Thanks

Hello All, I was trying to reach out to PTC, as i want to establish Center of Excellence in our college in India for CAD Design [Creo] and PLM [Windchill]. But unfortunately, I get the meeting scheduled with person based out of Europe or outside country.So they decline the meeting saying " I have to get the contact who is from India " and they provided the contact email ID wherein there is no response as such to my email requests.Can anyone help me with the proper contact, where i can start discussion in establishing the center of excellence in our college in India. Thanks,

I'm experienced in CAD, but new to CREO.I'm finding all sorts of tutorials for how to make a circular or linear patter with a feature such as an extrusion. However, am I able to make a pattern out of just a sketch so that I may later extrude the entire pattern?If so, do you know where I can find a good tutorial for this? While we're on the topic, can you do this same thing with the mirror feature?I know it's possible to do both of these things before and after finishing a sketch in a variety of other CAD software's, but is that not the case for CREO?

Hello, I need some help with changing the clour of the dimension. During creating the part I would like to know which dimensions are - Driven by some formulas/relations. I couldn't find the right way to change the colour of the Relation Driven dimensions.   Is there a way to change the colour? Or maybe a different way to highlight it? thank you, Regards, Arek

I'm using CREO Parametric 7.0.3.0 I have the shape shown in the attached image, and I'm trying to use the trim feature to remove part of the circle to produce the shape shown in the second image. How do I do this with the Trim tool???
