HiI'm trying to remake an old template for solving a differential equation on a free falling hatch in Mathcad Prime 9. Attached is the old version of the file from Mathcad 15. When I try to set up the rkfixed command after giving all the same info, I get an error code that the function D, doesn't converge. I've tried a few different ways of doing the substitution in D, but I've never gotten the solver to actually solve anything. It either says that D doesn't converge, that t is undefined, or unexpected error, this is a red underline on D. Is there a way to make this work? Any help is much appreciated!

Prior to CREO 6, I can install a new release of CREO on my machine and create a 7zip archive.  Users can extract this archive and install this on their machine without using the software center or requiring local admin rights.  With the new releases now, you have to run the creoagent (creosvcs_64.exe) which requires admin rights.  PTC support stated that this is not a supported method, and not offering any workarounds.   I believe some folks are still using this method for their deployment.  Just curious how I can do this for our CREO 10 deployment and not have to rely on the software center.  Thank you all in advance! Calvin

I am running Creo 10. I have both Creo Live Simulation (powered by Ansys) and Creo Ansys Simulation. I noticed that under setup in Creo Live simulation, I am able to select "Scope". However, when I look for this option in Creo Ansys Simulation, I don't see it. It'd be convenient to be able to exclude unnecessary components, but still be able to run a more robust Ansys simulation. Is this option available somewhere that I'm not noticing?

Hello,I'm having a problem finding the solution for a set of equations. Using MathCad Prime 10The usual method for solving this exercise is to due a iterative process assuming values for L4 and verifying for which value one of the equations is the closest to 0.I can do it manually inside of mathcad but have not made the solve block do it for me.Is this because the solution is approximate?I am attaching the mathcad file.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Is it possible to doa zoom in or out in a drawing thumbnail? My client is saying he could do it in previous version of Windchill.Description: My client is getting persistent about Drawings thumbnails and zoom in/out pan. He keeps saying that he could zoom in/out in the thumbnail of a drawing previously. But i cant find any information about this neither test.A 3D object you can spin, zoom in out in the thumbnails, no problem there, but with drawings cant do it. 

Hi, I am working on a mashup that displays a list of parts. For each part its thumbnail is visible along with name and part number. This mashup requires a button that downloads an excel file containing the parts details: thumbnail image, name and part number. Like this mockup: I am able to retrieve the thumbnail in the mashup as described in Article - CS306799 How to display Visualization data from Windchill in Thingworx mashup via Thingview widget.My question is can the thumbnail image used in the mashup be included in an exported excel file? If so, how? The desired output would look something like this:TIA 

A new downstream branch/part always starts with the first symbol in the versioning scheme (in our case A), regardless of the version of the upstream part. The equivalent link points to the exact upstream version, but this link is not well visible. Also, it is quite confusing for our users to have a separate version for the mPart. Additionally, we publish the mPart information to the MRP system which requires the exact ePart version. Therefore, we manually synchronize the downstream version with the upstream part version. This means that if the upstream part version is D, we also revise the downstream version to version D and so on. However, this is quite time-consuming and error-prone, especially with large assemblies. Windchill does not offer any functionality to keep the version synchromized.How do you handle this? If you have a separate version, how do you ensure that the upstream part version is clearly visible in the manufacturing department ? Thank you very much!

Hi there, My company updated to Creo 8.0.1.0 some weeks ago. Now it turns out, that the model check test "DEF_DENSITY" does not work anymore in Creo 8. In Creo 8 every part gets the default material "PTC_SYSTEM_MTRL_PROPS", which has the density of 1.0. The test DEF_DENSITY should check, if the density is 1.0, but the test passes. Since we use modelcheck as a gatekeeper for our windchill, there is a pretty chance, that the pdm-system gets filled up with neutron-star-like parts. Does someone knows a workaround?

Customer has the following requeriments:- Windows Server updates are scheduled and applied automatically on weekends- Updates must be installed without stopping Windchill services. If Windows Server requires a restart after installation, it will be done also autmatically Do you have any experience with this scenario?Is there any best practice or recomendation from PTC saying that Windchill servicies must be stopped before a Windows update installation? Thanks in advance!Maite

Hello everyone, I'm seeking assistance with uploading a local Creo assembly to Windchill 13.0. Despite my efforts, I haven't been successful in completing the upload process. Here's what I've tried so far:I attempted to upload the assembly as a simple document through Site -> Folders. However, this method does not recognize it as a part or an assembly, nor does it identify the child parts. Based on the documentation, it appears that I may need to upload the assembly as a product rather than as a document in my site folder. However, I'm not entirely sure about the correct procedure for this.Could someone please provide guidance on the proper steps to upload a Creo assembly to Windchill so that it is recognized correctly as an assembly with its child parts?Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Hello, so my problem is that i have a family table with three instances (A,B and generic). Depending on the choosen one, different Features in the lower parts should be activated or suppressed. So when i try to add a column with the Features, it wont let me choose them. I also tried it with Pro/Program but with no success.
