Hello,I'm using Creo Parametric 10.0 and I have a quesiton.Is it possible to have table on the drawing with lengths of each profile?Example how I want this table to look like:2 PCS | Profile 50x30x2 | 250 mm3 PCS | Profile 30x30x2 | 150 mm1 PCS  | Profile 30x30x2 | 120 mmI've created generic profile model with instances and I'm changing lenght of it by "making it flexible".I want to have this "flexible" length in table.Is it possible? Thank you all for your help.

  How to read Texts from images in thingworx? is there any direct functionality to read texts? is there any extension available for this?  i have this link but for this need to install thingworx flow  https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Integration_Orchestration/Azure/ComputerVision.html without thingworx flow how to get this done?      

Dear PTC Community, My collegue having an error "failed to start runtime in service mode. the service cannot be started either because its disable or has no enable device associated with it"  after adding few points in KepWare OPC Server. Hello everyone, I cannot for the life of me find a way to use custom symbols I created. I created a symbol using "define symbol", but when I go to use it in "symbol", it is not there. At my last company, I was able to select "custom symbol", but it's not giving me that option here. Thank you in advance.  

Hi!  I'm Johannes, and I'm currently writing my master's thesis on a Creo Parametric project that I developed during an internship at a company with a commercial license in Creo. Now that I have finished the internship and am no longer employed by the company, I still need access to my Creo files for screenshots and dimensions from the assembly. I downloaded the student version of Creo 9 but cannot open the files I created with the commercial licence. Is there any way or workaround to open the commercial files with the student version? Or is there an affordable licence for about 1 or 2 weeks to upgrade my student licence, allowing me to open the CAD files created with the commercial licence? I hope someone can help me! Kind regards Johannes

I'm wondering if anyone has heard what specific date Windchill 13.0.2 will be released? The PTC Product Calendar month/year currently shows July 2024. It's been this way for a few months now. July is right around the corner and it would be nice if PTC would provide some transparency on when so users of their software can adequately plan for the upgrade.

How to construct ProIDTable for the assembly component I got throgh ProSolidFeatVisit api. Need assembly component path for the collected part file. ProIDTable id_table = {Array[0].id} works for the part file collected from the top level. If the required part file present inside a subassembly, this logic fails. Tried getting asm comppath typecasting ProFeature* Array to Proselection as below, didn't work. ProSelectionAsmcomppathGet((ProSelection)&Array[0], &compPath). Any ideas please?

As per the original post.    Hi Team,    Once after extracting the .zip file i got the .pvi, .pvs,.ol file. which file need to import whether .pvz file or extracting .zip files.   if i imported .pvz file i got 4 figures in sequence tab. how to call these sequence with the button in home.js.   could you please explain about this.  if you have any related project please attach here.

I’m having an issue with trying to get a User defined parameter PIPE_DESCRIPTION from the linestock to the piping start part parameter DESCRIPTION.This is so when creating a pipe solid, each pipe part will have the PIPE_DESCRIPTION parameter value added to the DESCRIPTION parameter.Then I can bring this into my table BOM, along with all the other fittings and parts which have the same parameter.Is this possible or is there another way?I'm using Creo Parametric 10.0.4.0

Hi, I have to import a CAD file from ALTIUM software.The CAD file is an electronic board exported by the software ALTIUM in a 25 MB .step (or 20 MB .x_t).ALTIUM can export the files format in the picture below.When I import this two types of files, they opens in a long time.How can I reduce the time of uploading of that types of CAD models?  Best regards, Michele Barile 

I'm a mathcad prime 10 user. I'm writing a worksheet for a study material and design check. In manual, its calculated value is a little bit different from the equation above. I wonder how accurate with what significant figures the mathCAD prime 10 does calculation even in every single term in the equation. Plus, how can I get the more accurate result with very accurate single term in the equation?

I'm a mathcad prime 10 user. How can I get results in a column vector Q with respect to each coefficient Ai and Bi? I need to have Q1 with respect to A1, B1 and Q2 with respect to A3, B3? It doesn't really work out in method 1 and 2. The correct result should be the value in method 3 when considering Q1 only. 

Version: Windchill 12.1   Use Case: I created new instances in of a released family table my workspace while developing some new assemblies. I then added them to a change request that was then used to create a change notice to release the assemblies and revise the family table part. Now I cannot update the base part because it is incompatible with the new instances which cannot be deleted because they are on the change request. The admin cannot remove the new instances from the change request because he cannot see them on it. I can see them on the change request but cannot make changes. Description: How can we remove the new instances from the change request so that I can update the family table part?

My requirement is to search the user from Workflow Task > Resource pool .ResourcePool for a specific Task has the role and Groups Mapped . I need to Search the user by UserName in groups only that are allocated to the Resource Pool for that Workflow Task .I could find the Users and return the List of Users from The Context team  and specific Role . However ,  Challenge comes  , when user had to search for a User which is not a member of Group .Is there any API , I can Use to find the users that are member of Groups added to Resource pool? My action call is from ThingWorx and I need to create an WebService , which returns the user only if Present in Resource pool 

I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.0.0Error message: "Customizing parts is not available in the standard version. Please contact your account manager to upgrade." when trying to add a fastner to an assembly. This was available for us in Creo 10.

Working in Creo 10 I have a note on a drawing that I need to call out a combined surface area for two separate areas on the part. With single surface areas I like to drive the note parametrically by creating a measure feature in the model and referencing it in the drawing note with "&AREA:FID_XXXXXX[.1].Which ends up with this, which is what I want.However, to have both surface areas in one note I have to add them manually and input them as text, non-parametric. I've been trying various takes on this: "&area:fid_xxxxx1+xxxxx2" with no luck. Does anyone know how to combine both values into one parametric note?  

Is there a way to ressign the values to a variable in mathcad programming?For example Es is 2.175 and Ec is 3.5 in a loop. Ec is fixed here and iterate Es until MEd is almost equal to MRd. If it doesn't happen then change the values of Es to 25 which is fixed and Ec iterated from 0 to 3.5 until MEd is almost equal to MRd. How to write a Mathcad program without repeating the steps.
