Hello Team, Good day! As of now, in our System Admin/Server Status dashboard under the Download Logs option, only "Export Daily Logs" and "Export Weekly Logs" are available. There is no option to select a 'Specified Date & Time Range'. In cabling/schematics, we can show our pins in our BOM by referencing the connector port parameters, but is there any way to automatically bring other parts into our harness models or drawings, like wedgelocks, wire seals, etc. Thanks! I'm on Creo 9

I am completely inexperienced in using KEPServerEX. I am already download KEPServerEX 6 demo version. Our company is currently implementing a project that will deploy the use of KEPware. I want to ask whether I need a license to use during the product development phase or not. If I want to use a driver that is not available in KEPWare's library, what do I need to do? Thanks a lot.

I have developed a custom extension where i have created one service that is exporting excel file from an input infotable data. now want to download that file to local system from extension service on click of mashup widget.   Is there a way to download the file directly in local system from extension service?

I'm having 503 error :     Service Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Hello Team, We are having Two Kepware for tunneling OPC DA to UA. First Kepware is installed Locally with OPC DA server in source, Second one is in L2 system to connect first Kepware as OPC UA client. Issue is whenever OPC DA server or OPC UA server got disconnected  from source with L2 Kepware, it's Quick Client hold the last good Value with quality Bad. As soon we open new QC it shows unknown value. Can you please explain me about this phenomenal?  If you do any have whitepaper please share with us. Due to this above issue, MES captured the last hold  bad Values from L2.

How to quickly and easily identify "Active" products in the portfolio? Description: What are people using as a best practice to identify Active Products in Windchill vs. Inactive Products in Windchill?   Windchill does not allow out of the box modification of the Products page with table views, so it shows All products all the time based on container team membership. I am creating a test workflow for a Part Request but want to use the initiate workflow option in the workflow administrator.  The problem is that Part Request is not one of the selectable types to link to the primary business object. I've tried copy/paste, leaving type blank and searching by number. Is there a way to add additional types to the list?  As a backup, I considered if this is a dead end, just asking for the number and putting a lookup method in the workflow which will retrieve the part request and set it to the PBO. This is a generic problem since the list of objects above is short. There are more objects that you can run workflows against in the system.

Hello,I am new to Kepserver. Unfortunately, I switched the runtime from Service to Interactive mode in KepserverEx. Now I have changed it back to Service mode, but the DCOM settings are gone and I can't see the tags in Quick Client. However, the connection between Kepserver and Thingworx seems to be good, as I can see the realtime values in Thingworx.Experts, please help me solve this issue.Thanks,Sk

Since this a very advanced (many will think unsupported) use case, I will start with I used this functionality for over a decade design space equipment for Lockheed Martin and United Launch Alliance. It definitely did work perfectly up until I stopped using commercial code with Creo 9.0. So, I'm pretty sure we're talking a bug here... and a very important one for my use case because all my designs start with CAE models that work for FEA and rigid-body analyses and then, once a concept is viable, I use those to drive production geometry. For the large vehicle models I do almost all of my upfront work is with curves and surfaces to represent ground and mechanism components AND support quick FEA using beams and shells. Nuff said for importance. If you retrieve "PD-TM05A_ASKEL01.ASM" as master rep you can hide and show layers and the status works just fine. The most pertinent layer is called "01-ALL_EXT_COPY_GEOMS". Hi all, I have been familiarizing myself with the Kepware Configuration API, specifically creating and accessing tags from thingworx using the API. I have been able to create normal tags using the API, however, I am struggling to find out what the endpoint URL should be for advanced tags.  I use the endpoint in the following format to get all the channels: /config/v1/project/channels This endpoint gets me all of the channels in my Kepware environment, but I can't find where the _AdvancedTags channel is for accessing the advanced tags and creating new ones. If anyone has been able to access the _AdvancedTags through the API please let me know. Any feedback is greatly appreciated thanks!

I just started using the creo drawings package (not impressed BTW)  and no where do I see the capabilities to add a chamfer dimension on a drawing.  Does Creo have this ability like Inventor/Solidworks/SolidEdge?Frank

Hello, I have a projected sketch that is on a flat surface parallel to the original sketch. However, when I use the extrude command I am unable to use my projected sketch as a sketch to extrude. Is there some trick to using projected sketches? It appears as if it's just a normal sketch but won't let me do anything with it.

Hi,I need to monitor a certain tag, specifically I am monitoring a tag that records a temperature.I would need to set a boolean tag to 1 when a certain temperature threshold is exceeded. When the problem returns, I would need to reset the boolean tag to 0. How can I set this condition with Kepware?

Hello, I'm in Creo 10 trying to make an assembly drawing, where one part is a skeleton model / surface shrinkwrap of a more complex part. Other parts exist in this assembly and I want to make a section view. The problem is that the skeleton model lines are still visible behind the normal parts which makes the section cluttery and it is difficult to highlight the parts that I want to show. Is there some way to hide parts of the skeleton somehow with layers or something? I have searched around and found somewhat similar issues but haven't found any solution that worked for me.
