Hello,Can someone try to explain to me what I need to provide to a HTTP request body for context@odata.bind? I am trying to use the API to create a document (and eventually uploading content for a document) and I'm not sure what exactly what context@odata.bind (and SmallThumbnails@odata.bind, PrimaryContent@odata.bind, Thumbnails@odata.bind, Folder@odata.bind, and Attachment@odata.bind) are exactly asking for. I know that it should reference an "entity" or something like that, but I am pretty confused. Additionally, what is @odata.type ? Please help, and thank you! Rest API 2.5 and Windchill 12.1.2.0

Hi,I'm defining a generic modular drw symbol.I have defined some of its lines and values ​​in groups to give me the opportunity to select as needed whether to display them or not.My problem is that, by inserting the symbol in the DRW, these elements are hidden/disabled by default.How can I set them to be visible by default?Thank you.P.S. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.15We would like to know if it is possible to automatically recompute groups multiple times a day from a Third party LDAP directory. I want to know more information about the "ThingWorx Device Id". Is this associated with the ThingWorx platform installed machine ID? if so, in what situations a Device ID can be changed, Will the device ID detail change when the hard device of that machine reinstalled? I'm adding a callback on the Save option in the Arbortext Editor menu.The callback works perfectly but I don't know how to prevent the save from being made in a particular case.Here is my addition of the callback :   doc_add_callback(current_doc(), 'save', 'triggerSaveDocument');   Here is my implementation of that callback :   function triggerSaveDocument(doc, op){ local isValidDocument = callComparaison(); if(!$isValidDocument){ #I need here to prevent the save process of being made. return 0; } }    I tried return 0;  but that didn't work.Do you know how to bypass the saving ?Thanks for your time.  

Hello, I am trying to create a mapkey that allows me to export a drawing as a PDF with the filename from a parameter I created. The parameter I created contains the part number and revision of the drawing being exported. However, when I copy the 'FILENAME' parameter, the mapkey appears to only copy the 'FILENAME' parameter from the original session. Is there any good way to copy a parameter from the active part while recording a mapkey? Thank you!Jeff H.

Fresh Install of Windchill 12.1.2.7 with Creo Parametric 10.0.2.0 After doing a fresh install on a new server, I originally installed the Creo View Adapters / for Clients -9.1 for Windchill.  When running "Windchill version" in the shell, it popped up and I saw the software under "add or remove programs".   Turns out that Creo View adapters 9.1 have limited support for the future, so now I want Creo View adapters 10.1 on the server. I brought the CDs over, unzipped, and ran the installer in the 10.1 folder, and successfully installed.  I checked the "windchill version" output and the CMD box still says 9.1!  Okay, I thought I would overwrite with the 10.1 install.  I uninstalled the 9.1 adapters, ran "Installed Re-Released Components" as shown here: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS80628. I had the correct staging directories loaded up for the 10.1 adapters, the installer ran successfully, rebooted the server and Windchill

I have a large and heavy assembly with a bunch of parts hidden in my PVZ view. I want to be able to open component parts in a new view and change colors and then propagate those changes to the window where i have my view with all the hidden components. If i isolate it in the main view with the hidden components and recolor (Trying to recolor individual surfaces, not entire part), I cannot get my view back with the hidden components easily.

Hi all, So I wanted to take the "Basics of Cabling" tutorial on the PTC University Learning Connector, but can't get started. The tutorial itself is pretty straightforward; it shows you what to click and what to look for to create a cable in a specific assembly. The problem is that I don't know where I'm supposed to be opening the starting assembly from? Is this included in some folder when you install Creo? It's not in the C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 7.0.2.0\Common Files\demos folder. Is there some part of the training I'm missing? Thank you in advance for any help. Hope you have a good day!

I want to insert huge table with 1339 data in mathcad without using excel . I need the values to be in the mathcad sheet but I don't want to have many pages. Is that possible? I don't want to have 38 pages  Can I just show the first ten rows ?  

I am using Creo6 - version: 6.0.6.0swept wire bundle using trajpar does not show hidden lines correctly in drawing view.I've tried changing display settings, part accuracy settings; nothing seems to fix the issue; any ideas ?    thanksRich

Hello PTC Community team/members, I have created one customized action for WTPart but whenever I share any WT Part to Project Link that same action also visible into Project Link. Can anyone know how I can hide/remove that customized action for the team/role. Attached picture for the reference(yellow highlighted action, I want to hide).

Has anyone managed to install MathCad 14 on Windows 11? I thought I had done it, but various things are not working. For example (this is from my from my Windows 10 installation) On the Windows 11 installation i =  produces nothing; i.e. no table.  

Hi, I have figured out how to borrow a license and to set it in my system valiable. I have a few questions: 1. How do I return a license before its due date? 2. If I do not return the license before it's due date and check out a licence for more time, for example.....will the first one I borrowed still remain borrowed for the time left? I guess what I'm saying is.....do I have to return the license back before borrowing another? I don't want to monopolize the licenses. Thanks, Wayne

I had Creo 8.0 installed on my machine, and I needed to install Creo 10, but my Flexnet wasn't compatible, so I had to remove everything and install Creo 10 again, but now it doesn't want to install Flexnet again, is there any way to do this?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM070When I opened the 3D model, particularly complex in shape, it ended up resembling radiation or an explosion, making it unusable. What could be the cause of this issue? Could it be due to insufficient specs on my computer? Please help.

Hi,  I have process plan and operations with Manufacturing view. There are parts allocated to operations, in structure allocated part shows design view. How can we see default view as manufacturing in structure tab for allocated parts ?Is there any preference can be use to achieve this?
