Hello!  Currently using 20.5.2.0. First time post from myself. I have been using CREO now for about three years, and feel like I have a pretty good handle on working with it. However, I am yet to find a way to create a render that has a .jpeg images attached to it.  I have a CAD model with a selection of labels currently shown as .jpegs on a work plane which I have attached to their respective locations on the design, however rendering doesn't recognise these images due to them being on a work plane.  Is there a way to attach these images to the CAD model rather than the work planes which will allow me to create a render with the .jpeg images showing?  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Many thanks

Hi,   I want to restrict the User from choosing a future date. For example, today is 24-08-2023 1:00:00, and the User shouldn't be able to select 25-08-2023 1:00:00. All the future dates should be disabled for selection on the Runtime.   I have restricted the user from choosing the future date by giving the value to the Max Date but the user can select the time 2:00:00 from the widget in the Runtime. How can I limit it? Thanks  

I have wing geometry that I would like to have as one body. There are lines traveling the span of the wing subdividing it and I would like to get rid of them if that is possible so that it is not subdivided at all. They have given me some trouble when exporting the geometry for meshing, though I'm not sure why. I would appreciate any help. I have included a picture of what I am talking about. I have shrinkwrapped the file but it still has these lines. This is Creo (8) Student Edition.

So ive installed CREO using the creo guidance and after succesfully installing and running it, the errors from picture show up, after which creo shuts down.

 Is there any way to simplify this?

I am looking for a way to use a tool to create the ThingWorx docker containers. We use Azure DevOps on Prem, and I am wondering if there is a way to load all the files from the thingworx docker download, put the needed files in the staging folder, and then build the docker container and push it to a repository, so multiple instances of ThingWorx can download the latest container.  Thank you! 

Every CSYS is mathematically defined in space by 6 parameters.Is it possible to retrieve these 6 parameters (XYZ-translation + XYZ rotation) in Creo?The XYZ translation is easy: it's just a measurement feature.But the rotational parameters are not that simple.Does anybody knows how to do this?Some background:I have a CSYS, somewhere in a complex assembly. It is defined by a long chain of features and dependencies, interconnected with parameters and relations.At the end of the road, I would like to know the exact position of this CSYS, with reference to the base CSYS.With these 6 parameters, I should be able to create a new CSYS, referenced to the base CSYS, and equal to the original CSYS.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Jeroen.

We have multiple stylesheets and I would like the default one to be selected when publishing. Currently if I publish a topic by itself it chooses the correct stylesheet. When I publish a map it chooses a different one.   The goal is to have the same stylesheet selected when publishing a topic or a map. I did find a help topic about adding a stylesheet PI https://support.ptc.com/help/arbortext/r8.1.2.0/en/index.html#page/admin%2Fadmin%2Fhelp1394.html  I do not think that is what I want. I also found this one https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS269879?source=search and it does not seem to work.    Currently if I go to format, select stylesheets the editor/default  path is correct to the techinfo stylesheet, but the print/pdf is empty with no association. My guess is that it should be set to the default techinfo stylesheet also. Is that the correct thought? Is there a way to make the setting global for all the users.   Thanks Bryon  

I am updating the french xliff file to automatically change the TM symbol to MC, and the reg symbol to MD when published. I cannot seem to find any symbols that are already created in a superscript MC or MD. I have not seen any way to modify the text in the xliff file.

I have created a mapkey that users use for updating legacy Creo parts (Creo 6 and earlier).  We are now on Creo 9.The mapkey checks for missing relations and parameters (including restricted) then adds them if they are missing.  The issue is that it will duplicate relations that already exist.  I put a pause in the mapkey telling them to delete old relations before continuing but we know that doesn't usually work. I also have Modecheck running looking for the missing relations and errors if they are missing.  It tries to add them even if they exist due to the fact that they are in the Post Regeneration relations. The relations that Modelcheck adds appear in the Initial relations. The reason for locating them in the Post Regeneration was that it was overwriting legacy relations located in the Initial relations.  It is causing a regeneration issue that Modelcheck flags.In my mapkey I have relation written to bypass a couple relation (these came from PTC

The existing rendering module in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling is from Lightwork.Lightwork was acquired by Siemens in 2018.Nothing has changed in the rendering module for several years and the possibilities are limited.My suggestion is to replace Lightwork with KeyShot, analogous to Creo Parametrics.
