In AMU asset/equipment configuration, I have configured few assets, with asset status of BOOLEAN parameter from Kepware.   1. Here i have configured 2 assets and used the same kepware tag as status (BOOLEAN). It's working fine with "Asset" but the icon is not changing in "C3PC 20" according to "Running/Down" status. What is the issue behind here? It's always NOT CONFIGURED.   2. What if the the asset staus coming from kepware as "ACTIVE" for running and "ISSUE" for not running? How accomodate the string values with Asset Status?      

Hello everyone,I would like to understand in Creo parametric how the .prt files that contain a copy geometry feature that has another reference .prt are updated.Why doesn't the son update when I open it, even if automatic regeneration is set?I always have to do it manually with CTRL + G or regenerate (I attach an image of the two objects opened from a clean session - first father then son)The version used is Creo 8.0.7.0I also tried with 10.0.3.0 where I saw these two new entries (regen_data_sharing_ref_models e retrieve_data_sharing_ref_parts) but even adding them with a value of yes did not change the result. Matteo.

I have followed this "Custom Table Views (Step 1) (ptc.com)" article given by PTC. I put the value in affected disposition table after submitting it the attribute is not getting persist. And I have attached the screen shot below of before submitting the CN and after submitting the CN. Please provide a solution.

Dear PTC Community,I am currently working on Creo Simulate to perform a FEA on a rain cowl assembly for different wind loadings and also to check if the current weight of this rain cowl assembly can be taken by the motorised louvers without failing (rain cowl assembly is mounted onto the motorised louvers with the help of bolts).I have defined fasterners and weld connections wherever needed but facing some issues with them as listed below:Issue_1: The perimeter welds defined at locations where the top part of the rain cowl assembly is being connected to the side part for example is not being taken into consideration and the solver says that it is taken as bonded idk why? Issue_2: The end welds along the curve for the same two parts of the rain cowl assembly are ignored by the solver idk why either. (It is treated as bonded there) Issue_3: Single element at the top left part of the rain cowl assembly shows an error (Can be seen when tried to run the own_weight static design st

If I have a vector A and B both with 10 elements. How can i create a vector  C that has the minimum values of A or B on each corresponding position.Thanks in advance !

I am trying to combine a few load cases (speed and loading combinations) into arrays (or matrix), see simple example of input and what I'd like to achieve. I know how I could use nested FOR to loop through the arrays but I don't know how to assign variables to get the end result. Or is there a different way? I hardly know anything about functions and programming in Mathcad. 

Hi, I have a MCP sheet that pulls from some matrices to perform basic calculations that takes over an hour to complete. I would like to improve this significantly if possible. I tried to rely on built-in functions (e.g., "lookup") when possible for calculation efficiency. The main calculation (image below) uses data from three matrices (36177x9, 2412x9, 1206x12) to perform basic +-x/ calculations resulting in a 216619x8 matrix. At the end of the sheet, there is some red text that helps point this out. We have a multi view part with Owner association to the .drw.In the first view, the related objects shows the same drw version 4 timesOn the later view, only once.next downstream view:Any idea why it's doing this?We just happen to have four revisions, is that a coincidence?

Hi, I have configured Software Content Management for ThingWorx on my local instance. Followed the steps mentioned here. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.8Is it possible to have contradictory conditions in publish rules.We want to have a condtion in the publish where content (STEP/PDF) only is published when attribute MODEL_TYPE is empty. If this value is not empy it should not publish any content only the pvz.

I have one user who just restarted Creo and after logging into Windchill, opens the workspace but there is no Tools menu for him to sync the filename that was renamed in commonspace. He had it this morning, but it just disappeared and the restart of Creo did not bring it back. I had him remove the file from his workspace and then open the assembly so the system would bring in the file from commonspace with the right name. We are on Windchill 12.0.2.12 and Creo 9.0.7.0. We only switched to Creo 9.0.7.0 last week and this is the first someone has mentioned this happening. Has anyone else seen this odd behavior?

Hi,I am using advanced grid which is editable, the requirement is after editing and saving it, then  I want to reset the grids back to default on click of a button so I can enter new data.How is that possible.?As we can see in the screenshot attached, there are two big tables which will be editable and we will save it. But then on clicking of a button which is next, the tables should then again be blank so I can enter data for another entry.

Hello guys, I want to display my data like this picture! how do i do ? Should I use grid, but how to display  infotable in a row? When I bind a data source do display every Equipment then how do I bind Equipment information to each row ? And Second question, how do i set a button to selected row? like this.When select this row a button appears on the image, if not select the button doesn't appears.If anyone knows how to do it, please teach me or give a hint, because i search online and on ptc community i can't get any answer. I am a intern developer learning how to developer thingworx application and it's spend me a lot of time but i still don't know how to do it. Hello all, I'm just getting started with piping.  I found a tutorial through the help button in Creo, but I can't get back to it for some reason.  I managed to make the routing that I want, and I'm pretty comfortable with the interface, but I assume that I am doing something wrong.  All the pipe routes appear as lines, and not 3D pipe.  I created the Line Stock and checked the dimensions, but maybe I did something wrong. This is a series of 16" and 24" piping coming off a suction and discharge header. If you can tell from the screenshot, please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

I had to install MCAD 14 on a new machine. To my great surprise, that went well, except that I cannot access QuickSheets. When I try, I get the message below. Can anyone help with this?  

I am new to working with webjects and am trying to use the Create-Objects webject to create a Customer Experience object in Windchill. I'm using ThingWorx 9.3.5I've been trying to link a Dynamic Thing Template to a Line Chart Widget and have been quite unsuccessful. I was wondering if there is possibility that I could use Dynamic Thing Templating to pull Data and push into a line chart. If so, could anyone possibly help me with that?

Hello all. I have been trying to create an advanced tag by comparing the Logic_cond from a MT Connect Mazak Tag.  The idea is to populate PTCAvailabiltyFaultCode of DPM with this advanced tag. This advanced could be a bolean value; Whenever the Logic_Cond is "Normal" then it should write over this new tag as 1 or 0.  We have tried by using a derive tag, complex tag (we are still new to kepware ) but whenever we try to write this new "combined" tag it just pops up that the tag is not writeable.
