Is there a way to only regenerate the entire family table with my command? I'm modifying a part with family table, and each modification causes the entire family table to be regenerated.

Hi, I'm wondering if it is possible to define a new subtype of WTDocument which can have both WTPart and WTDocument as its child? Something like a parent WTDocument Order A, and it has child Order A-1, Order A-2, which both contain a series of WTParts. I'm using Windchill 12.1 Thank you!

Hello, Can anyone guide me to a tutorial about the ECAD setup for Creo.I am looking around in the CREO help section but that is far from clear and complete.I want to do some ecad setup things in creo4.0 environment but I get stuck.First off all the ptc help tutorial mention start a new assembly -> select the ECAD sub-typeHere I already run into the first issue the ECAD syb type is greyed out so not selectable. I already understood that there are some ecad assembly start parts and ecad start parts that I should fine tune with a set of parameters. So that is clear. But then the default template contains only 2 default parameters. So not much of an example. So a little guidance /tutorial would be welcome to clear out some questions like:How does creo knows a assembly is a ECAD assembly?The same question for the ecad partHoe do the parameters get translated into the IDF3.0  file?....

I am trying to collect all open Windchill tasks for each user so I can link power bi and make some tables. I found that I can use https://<host>/Windchill/servlet/odata/ChangeMgmt/ChangeTasks to get my tasks but I want my tasks plus everyone else's so I can neatly show the data of the open tasks. Has any come across a solution for this?

I am thinking  to connect my thingworx with MS SQL database. Would anyone please share with me some insights/knowledge about it. It would be great if  someone would also share some knowledge if someone has already done this task and either it is usefull to do that all work. REQUIRMENT: Currently we are using datatables within Thingworx but because of limitations of the datatables i would like to connect the external database and use it. Currently i have 5 datatables with each datatable having 100K rows and i am showing on the mashup only latest 100 entries for each datatable becasue i am storing it in latestentrydatatable the primary key of the entries which maintains only latest 100 entries primarykeys and then it is easy for me quickly fetch them and show on the thingworx mashup. but now the new requirement came that they want search feature in the mashup and for that they asked us to search on 4 or 5 fields and thats why i also have to do indexing to achieve this

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.9.0Hello,I want to create a custom balloon with two parameters (&asm.mbr.cparam....). I defined a new symbol and defined these parameters in the variable Text.When I want to display the icon as a custom balloon, I only see the parameters and not the value of the parameter. Can component parameters be displayed in BOM balloons?I also tried with an assembly parameter, but that value doesn't appear in the balloon either. Do I need to pay attention to the custom balloon so that I can evaluate parameters in the balloon?

Just wondering if anyone has added Clinch Studs, Nuts and Standoffs into the IFX Library in Creo Parametric.I like the IFX feature, and use it for Screws, but it would be handy to have Sheetmetal fixings.Tried doing it myself, but not really my strong suit. 

I have license for thingworx, how can i know how many users i can created in my thingworx? i already check the license subsytem setting and it said uncounted, Please explain it to me what uncounted means. Since i check on my detailed license report-data and it said the qty is 25. I tried to create 26 users and nothing happened. 

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 10.2 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS14I would like to know the number of simultaneous login users in Windchill. Are there any logs or commands that can check this information?

Does anyone here know how I give a user access to add/remove users to Groups in PDMLink without being an Org Admin or Administrator in Windchill PDMLink ?  I am also intrested in giving a user access to run reports in the Security Audit Reporting without being an Org Admin or Administrator in Windchill PDMLink ? I've been told by PTC "Not part of Windchill PDMLink functionality". Windchill 11.1 M020-CPS16

I am trying to get ModelCheck to check my Part Parameters for any empty parameters.I would like it to report an error and make the user fill in the parameters that are empty (this cannot be a list, it just needs something/anything in it) I want the engineers to fill out the Material, condition ect parameters.Can Modelcheck check these are not empty? Using Creo 7.0.8.0

Good morning to all,I have a matrix that works well in Mathcad 15 but provides wrong values in Prime 9.0.I only converted the matrix from Mathcad 15 to Prime 9.0, which did not work well in Prime 9.0. Even though it does not mention any error in Prime 9.0, It simply does not provide the right matrix elements in Prime 9.0.The files below Matrix Right (the one in Mathcad 15) and Matrix Wrong (the one in Prime 9.0) are the two files I am talking about. Any help will be very much appreciated. regards,  Rogelio

I am trying to write a code in Mathcad Prime 9.0 to make a K matrix by making the K0 matrix of zeroes populate with k matrix numbers as shown below and in the file attached. Just came across article CS378421 for whitelisting certain URLs in Creo's embedded browser.  This is close to what we need, but it would so much easier to implement for our purposes if there was the possibility to Block certain URLs, rather than trying to document all possible allowed sites. Could we for example have a ZBrowser Registry Key called BlockListLocation and manage that like the AllowListLocation?  This would be a major win for us as it would solve an age old company specific Windchill cache corruption issue I wont get into here..
