I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.3.0I am trying to unpattern a patterned group and make all the features independent of each other but I can only find "make independent under the model, operations, ATB menu which doesn't seem to work. Hi,I would like to add a PDF which comprises several combined pages to a PVZ file in order to be able to view them in Creo View not as separate files but as a set of pages to utilize the "page" utility and make viewing instructions more user friendly. I can think of one way, which requires 2 steps:1. Include the pdf in the PVZ zip file2. Edit the structure .pvs fileHowever, the pvs file, when open in notepad, contains pdf file names and some uncommon ASCII characters, which make barely any sense. Not only that, but when I just open the file and save it without any actual edits, I get an error when trying to open the PVZ file in Creo View. Is there any other way or any specific editor for PVS files I could use to achieve my goal? EDIT:I've got this weird thing where I find a solution to my problems as soon as I post a question... Solution - just open the pvz file in Creo View -> File -> Add Viewables to Session -> Save all

I am creating a report listing task details.One of the columns in this report is for the "Completed Date" of a task.I need help implementing a condition for the "Completed Date" column. The condition is:          If "Work Item.Status" equals "Completed"               then populate the "Completed Date" with "Wf Assignment. Last Modified",          else, leave "Completed Date" null/blank.How can I go about accomplishing this?Should I create two reports? If so, how do I merge the reports to see both completed and uncompleted tasks?Is this something that is done under the "Select or Constrain" tab or under the "Criteria" tab? TIA!

Hi all I have got a WTPart(1.01) link to an EPMDocument(1.01). I perform an attribute update using a custom tool which results in iteration i.e WTPart(1.02) and EPMDoc(1.02). When I try to create a representation from the WTPart(1.02) it picks the EPMDocument(1.01) to create the representation though latest config is specified. I get the following warning in WVS Job Monitor Warning: EPMDocument Config Spec selects a different iteration of the specified top level EPMDocument, specified EPMDocument iteration will be used.I actually want it to take the latest version of EPMDoc(1.02) for creating representation.Can somebody please help me understand this issue or correct me if my approach is wrong?Thanks in advance.

Hi. I am new to Thingworx. I want to show my alert list assigned to my thing . The alert list data has child infotable in an parent infotable as received from generic GetAlertDefinitions service. I am unable to show child data in my grid in my mashup. I am confused whether I need to join the child infotable to the parent infotable with service (if there is solution to this, please advice)  or I need to make some changes in configuration in my mashup. Does anyone knows the solution to this?  

I'm using creo7 parametric and I'm trying to make the material in the title block be a drawing flag symbol using &sym(FLAG-MUTI-LEVEL). Normally when I type this in a text box, it will give me the symbol dialog to select the options I want such as what number I want in the flag and the size of the flag. When I put &sym(FLAG-MUTI-LEVEL) in the &MATERIAL parameter, it just shows it as text instead of the flag. I don't want to get rid of the &MATERIAL parameter, I want to have it equal to &sym(FLAG-MUTI-LEVEL). Thank you!

Want to understand, what is the difference between an assembly created using Actions configure (ie. A variant spec is created with a variant) and this approach where we get a CAD assembly directly and no Variant Spec.
