Hello, I am trying to find a way to change what is shown in the "Page Mashup" container in the master mashup similar to how you can using the contained mashup widget.Is this possible?  My situation is that from the master mashup, I want to search for a thing, and by doing so, I should change the mashup to where I can find that thing. Any pointers would be highly appreciated! Thanks,Jens

Hi all,I am making a GET API call from a ThingWorx service. I want to parse the JSON data from the API call and search through it for certain values, which will then be pushed into an array. It seems to me that standard JavaScript methods like .filter() and .find() don't work in ThingWorx.Can this be done in the same service or will I need multiple?Any help would be appreciated.

I am a bit new to skeletons but my idea was to do an outline of my assembly in my skeleton and then use a copy geometry feature to bring the whole skeleton into my part so that I can use the surfaces as references for solid geometries. But, it does not let me finish the copy geometry feature, if I select to copy all surfaces (it only lets me finish if I select specific surfaces). So I wanted to ask what the proper way to copy all surfaces using a copy geometry is? Is bringing the whole skeleton into your model how one would do it? Thanks for any replies!   

Hello everyone: I have a question about how mathcad prime handles the units in the background. See attached Mathcad Prime 3 spreadsheet for reference. Why does the top formula (i.e., the one where the variables have units) get a different answer than the bottom formula (i.e., the one where the variables don't have units)? Shouldn't it be the same since, in this particular formula, all of the units cancel out? And how is this program handling the units in the background? Does it use default units under the hood and then convert from those default units to whatever units you type in? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Is it possible to change the VTQ config and add a new field definition there, for example: for a certain property I want to ingest Value, Timestamp, Quality, and Unit (of measure)?For example we are currently setting only the Lat, Long, Altitude and date time, and I want to add 2 new field to store GPS accuracy and GSM strength in the same value stream.Is it doable? I have many family tables of hardware items designed in a system that is standalone and had to go through hoops to get the spreadsheet exported from excel moved to this system. I then have to rebuild my master CAD model of the parts and put the columns needed into a blank family table. In Creo 4, I was able to cut and past the data from the exported .csv file into the family table, save it and then verify the instances with no issues. Now on Creo 7, I do the import and the spreadsheet turns yellow background and when saved the family table is empty. Open the Excel editor and all of the data is there. It just won't update the Creo file data. Any suggestions before I open a helpdesk call?  

There is a MSSQL database Thing. I would like to add a new property to this thing as "TempValue" and  then map a sql query to this property. How can this be done ? 

Hello, We have always created SQL logins for our users to be able to connect to external databases from our  Thingworx platforms.But it was recently brought up that for some external databases we have, it is more common to use AD as a way to give access  when accessing it through SSMS. So I was wondering if there was any documentation or experience in the community on how we could use AD to connect to these external databases. Any pointers would be very appreciated. Thanks,Jens

Hello PTC community,I have the following problems: I want to import data via STEP. The import does not cause me any problems, only after the import there are always too many sub-assemblies that I do not want to have. Is there any way in Creo to eliminate these "intermediate assemblies" (See pictures).  Are there any special import profiles?          I would appreciate any suggestions and tips. Many thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I am creating VPN so that i can access PTC- Creo licence sever (in a sever Computer at offiice) from other internet. But it not totally success as i want. If we are using the same network (wifi or wired) with sever computer, everything works fine (already add exception for in-bound and out-bound port 7788). Then we want to work remotely -> need to create VPN so that we can access to the license sever from outside. I created a VPN following this website: https://www.draytek.com/support/knowledge-base/5330I connected to the office network successfully via VPN, but when i open Creo, it shows error: license cannot found. I ask support from supplier, then they suggest to turn off all firewall for both sever computer and user's computer as the picture below. PTC must have the most user-unfriendly support site I have seen. I want to check the expiration date of my current Mathcad support agreement, and even after logging into my account at tpc.com/support I cannot find that information. How can I check the date? If I look at the "extra" license file, it has an expiration date of 30-APR 2023.  Is that the same as the expiration date of my support agreement or does the license file have a grace period? Victor Roberts

I have a permanent license for Mathcad Prime 3.1.  My laptop motherboard on this computer failed.   I've replaced the motherboard and can no longer use Mathcad.  When trying to get another license, I can't, since the software on the PTC site indicates that my product code is incorrect.   I'm currently retired (2016), and would like to get this working.   I'm not paying support, since I'm happy with the current versions Mathcad 15 and Prime 3.1.   Can someone guide me to the right person/contact? Thanks!Larry Callis 

Recently I have been having an issue where MathCAD Prime will nto run on my PC anymore. It loads the splash screen and then nothing happens afterwards. Looking at the task manager, a PTC MathCAD process begins but disappears when the splash screen disappears. I have followed the steps in the other relevant forum posts (below) and contacted PTC technical support for help with this issue but the only fix was to completely reinstall windows. Uninstall/Reinstall does not help, nor does copying config files from a PC where the software is still working.
