I am unable to acquire a new license for Mathcad express after changing the laptop. With no access to license management, how do I get an updated license with the new Host ID?

Does anyone know how to speed up MCP for processing large data sets? I am working with a 50832x14 size data set that is output in Excel from another program. I would prefer to filter, sort, and manipulate the data in MCP vs Excel. However, trying to execute a simple filter step in MCP on a data set this large has proven impossible. I can't get the function to complete (endless spinning wheel). Whereas I can complete this one step in Excel in about 1sec. Does anyone know how to speed this up? Or any other tricks for processing large data sets in MCP? I would really, really prefer to avoid Excel but at this point, I'll have to use it.Thanks!     

Hello everyone, I am using an .xml to get information from Schematic into Parametric and after that to project it via HMX into drawing. I am struggling to get the information regarding signals and terminators. I am able to import terminator table in CSV format into schematics, but it won't show in parametric neither in drawing. Regarding signals I'm not even able to import CSV table - there is info that design in not matching information....I tried to use different global parameters to match it, but nothing works..... Is there a way how to import signal and terminator data in schematics so it will load in parametric and in drawing? What are the important global parameters which should I follow when creating CSV files so it will load without issues?  I'm just learning with this program, so some screenshot with possible solution will be really really helpful. Schematics 7.0.0.0Parametric 7.0HMX advanced 

The "Seed & Boundary" (was Surf & Bound) is great functionality.  Where did it go for selecting surfaces to apply appearance? I use "Seed & Boundary" to select surface for model actions like copy surf.  I know how to use "Shift" for that.  The same technique won't work for selecting surfaces in appearances.  Hoping someone can tell me how.  Did they take it out?  Or is it just buried in the mountain of inconsistencies?  Now it seems like you have to go in and carefully select all the (maybe 100's) of little surfaces manually one by one.  Please tell me what I'm missing.  Thank you.

Hi Developers, Help needs on the title. we've upgrade TW from ver9.2 to ver 9.3 just before.after the upgrade, the font style is automatically changed even though I use "Style Theme".could you let me know how we can stop this change? 1. font pattern12. font pattern2 when I put(update) date with servive, then font style get normal. ( looks same as the one in "Style Theme")3. font pattern3when I put long text like datetime, then font size get too small.context was Text was wrap displayed in TW ver9.2.      our TW version is the below.

Working to clear out old data and getting this error which trips up delete: Object "Baseline Member - wt.vc.baseline.BaselineMember:1170052405" references the object "Assembly  - xxxxxx.asm, A.2" that was removed from the system.Object "Baseline Member - wt.vc.baseline.BaselineMember:1170052354" references the object "Assembly  - xxxxxx.asm, -.4" that was removed from the system. I queried these rows and the EPMCheckPoint that it references does not exist. Goes back to 2017 and there are about 175 rows all with the same EPMCheckPoint IDA2A2.  It looks to me this is a workspace baseline that no longer exists but for some reason, it did not clean up the member links. For that, we need to have representations for all items in our system.Anyhow, we have lots of items  without a representation (couple of thousands), especially vendor components.Is there a simple way of creating (rule-based) publishing jobs for these items? Best regardsMartin

Good day,one of my tasks as ThingWorx-Admin is to move user from "available member" to "member" in an user group.Important: The username needs to have only lowercase letters to fit to the corresponding AD-group. As soon as a user logs-in with uppercase letters or misspelles the username, a new "available user" is generated. It's getting messy already, so I would like to delete all these accounts. Is that possible? Kind regardsMartin

Hello,   I see this topic is 10 years old, but as I have exactly the same need, and found no solution.   I would like to grant a role from us, design project leader, rights to control the task deadlines, so that notifications are sent on the target dates. Often he does now know a realistic target date, when assigning tasks.   Unfortunately this is not possible without a customization. I have an old file that colleagues developed and they created variables like this: Rop%.  I'm trying to re-create and improve some plots, which use this variable, among other similar definitions.  When I retype the variable name, Mathcad tells me the variable is invalid; undefined.  For the life of me, I can't figure out why.  But it looks like the percent signs (%) have different fonts.  So it looks like there's something different about them, but I can't replicate it.  Please see attached.   

Hello, I've been building on a project to help with deployments of projects to QA/BV/Pilot/Prod instances after development has been completed. The use case (which I haven't been able to find an alternative to, so if you have one please let me know) is that when you develop a larger project, you often end up with entities that gets deprecated.If you have an especially large project, it can be annoying to have to manually clean up all other environments of these no longer used entities as you deploy your application. The thought I had was that after using the ImportSourceControlledEntities function, I would delete any entities that were not imported from source control. But when doing some tests I have run into issues with this error: JavaException: java.lang.Exception: Import Failed: Unable to create group: [1,002] Data store integrity violation error: [Error occurred while accessing the model provider.] It seems to me like it happens if the ImportSourceCo

Hello, I'm currently trying to download any widget extension to test at my Thingworx Platform instance, but until now, every extension that I looked at the marketplace does not have a download option.Is there anything missing at my account level? Or maybe I'm looking at the wrong marketplace website. *Bellow a screen shot for one of the extensions that I want to test called "HERE Map Widget ThingWorx Extension"      

In Windchill 11 -  when doing eBOM/mBOM transformation - there was an option to view consumption status. You click a part from the visualization window and it disappears or turns translucent to represent consumption.  In Windchill 12 it seems as though the "Render Consumptions" button is missing? And in the documentation there's a former link (guessing by the font color) MPMLink Visualization Panel that would in theory answer this, but the link is no longer active.  Has this functionality moved somewhere else or is it no longer available?

Does anyone know how to reduce the file size of a MCP sheet or other ways to speed up processing? I am working on a big calculation package that reads in Excel data (~30000x15) and manipulates it various times (loads of filtering, sorting, assigning submatrices, etc.) that is going on 20-30 pages. Now the file size is almost 18mb and the sheet is moving very slow and takes a while to save. TOL and CTOL are set to defaults, and I am trying the multithreading option. Only working on one sheet at a time. Are there any methods to speed things up? Maybe purge past data once a step has been made? I don't have much experience with the clear() function, but could this be of use here? Open for suggestions. Thanks!MCP 8.0, Windows 10 Pro.  

Hi All,   I am trying to install Thingworx 9.0 in Azure using Thingworx ARM Template but I am facing an error message while installing Thingworx using ARM Template. I'm working on a custom action which opens up a jsp when clicked. When the jsp opens, I want to check the users license type and allow only if the user has got a certain license type, for example - PTC View and Print Only. Please share me the snippet if anybody has done this earlier.
