I would like to export the BOM structure into XLS or CSV format and back to PDMLink table not to the DB?   We have a CN which has many resulting items and where each item has bom strcuture and we are creating a report for bom structure of all the resulting items. This seems to be taking quite long time , so as to reduce the report timing of 10min we want to create this report in the Change Notice workflow and save it as secondary attachment. Then we will use this report for recreating the structure in the PDMLink table.   Not sure if there is any better solution. But if you guys find  a better solution, let me know in comments.          

Hello, i'm using Thingworx version 9.1.10-B931 and got following problem: The query from the Chip Based Data Filter Widget is binded to a Service that uses this query as input.The QueryChanged Event triggers my Service. Everything works fine until i delete / unselect all my filters.The last known query before removing all filters at the filter widget will be applied to my service but i want an empty query and not the last know filter. For me this is a bug because if no filter is selected then the query have to be empty or set to default and not the last know filter / query.

Hi there,My request will seem trivial to you, but I realized that it was not.As part of a workflow for publishing PVZ files from CAD documents, I want to write a publishrules that will publish these PVZ files at checkin, but only if a previous publication has already taken place manually. Here is the scenario:A design team is working on Creo PARAMETRIC and storing their work in Windchill.In parallel, another team works with Creo ILLUSTRATE to create technical illustrations.In order not to clutter the database, as long as no member of this team has manually triggered the creation of a PVZ file from an ASM, nothing should happen when this ASM is modified by the members of the design team.But once a PVZ has been created for the first time by an illustrator, then the next time a designer modifies the source ASM, the PVZ should be updated automatically.I searched to achieve this with publishrules, but couldn't find it.And I don't want to go through a specific development.Has anyone eve

Hi there, I would like to use a normal thingworx button widget as a back button. This is for design reasons, because in a normal button, you can insert a custom icon.Unfortunately JS history.back() does not work in an expression. Does anyone know a way to do this without the back button widgets?Case no:In the back button widget is theoretically included in icon. However, this is white for me and I also do not get it visible. Does anyone know the parameter that sets the icon color? Thanks alot!

Hi Developers, I have a requirement to take 3 different data sources (1 label and 2 grids) and export an excel from it.I am not able to get csv with edited column along with its other original entire grid columns.Please provide service to achieve this, if someone has any.   

It's been a while since I have done modeling in CREO.  What's the best way to model square tubing?  I thought there used to be a feature that you could extrude a line with a thickness to get simple square tube.  I am just trying to sketch up a simple weldment bracket, and I don't want to put a lot of time into the modeling.  It's not necessary. Thanks in advance.  

I have a profile which I created by doing an outside blend and an inside blend, where the sketches for the inside blend reference the sketches of the outside blend. The sketches represent a rectangle which is dimensioned towards the outward blend in the x- and y-direction. I want to be able to change the wall thickness without having to go into each sketch and changing the wall thickness in both directions.Is there maybe a way to create a parameter with which I can control the wall thickness and how can I access it? Is the way I created the way in which you would do it to create a cylinder with constant wall thickness? I tried the thicken command, but when I use it, I get surfaces which are not parallel to the top plane any more.Thanks for a reply!   

We have currently mapped the PTC_WM_NUMBER and PTC_WM_REVISION to our title block in Solidworks drawings and are looking to leverage the Where Used attribute from the View Information/Where Used table view. Does anyone know what the label for that information is called? I would assume something along the lines of PTC_WM_WHEREUSED_01, PTC_WM_WHEREUSED_02, etc., is that the case?   FYI, we are using Windchill WGM 11.1 and currently on Solidworks 2022 SP5.0.   Any help with this is appreciated.   Todd

I've already tried changing my password and followed the relicense guide.  I recieved a document saying that my license is renewed (see attachments), but creo still says that my license expires in 14 days. Hi guys, Im still little bit confused in rule based layers ... Im currently working on Clearance&Creepage analysis and I didnt find any nice tool to hide all insulator when Im setting my nets so I decide to hide all PARTS with CTI over 0 by rule based layer ... The CTI is in parametres of each part but I didnt find out how to do that ... Is it possible to make rule with parametres ?  Thanks 

 Hi! I surprisingly found that Mathcad calculates this simple expression wrong:  Both results must be the same. The second result is the correct one.It gets even worse in this case:  It seems that Mathcad accumulates floating point errors in sums, which can be easily avoided (or greatly reduced) by applying a proper summation algorithm. It costs nothing to implement, so why not do it?

Does anyone know how to speed up MCP for processing large data sets? I am working with a 50832x14 size data set that is output in Excel from another program. I would prefer to filter, sort, and manipulate the data in MCP vs Excel. However, trying to execute a simple filter step in MCP on a data set this large has proven impossible. I can't get the function to complete (endless spinning wheel). Whereas I can complete this one step in Excel in about 1sec. Does anyone know how to speed this up? Or any other tricks for processing large data sets in MCP? I would really, really prefer to avoid Excel but at this point I have to use it. Thanks! 

Hi , I am a user of Creo 9.0 version and is the user of the student version , As far as I remember during the installation of the files, I clicked for the simulation feature but now when I am using it it shows that the request is failed ,I really want to test my parts and want to present it to the professors so plz help me .   

HiI have plotted the results from two vectors. The graph resembles the shape of a half circle and I would like to find a function that fits the data so intersection points can be determined for other functions. I have tried many different curve-fitting tools but can't find a proper one that works.  I'm  thankful for any help!    

License management is done at the site level, but is there anyway to give someone access to the license information page without being a site admin? Their goal is to be able to see how many licenses there are and how many are available. Won't need access to load license file.
