I learned that you can create diameter dimensions in sketch mode by clicking back and forth between the symmetry line and the line that you want your dimension on for two times. However, in my case, it does not work, I get an error message:My sketchThe error message that I get.Does somebody maybe know what is wrong, why this situation occured or what can be done about it to avoid it? As per the original post..   Andy, my situation is similar to Jamie’s. I bought a single perpetual license (at least that is what I thought I purchased) many years ago and therfore I have no SCN or an SON number, only the product key. Now I have a new computer and due to the current situation I can’t get a new license file. Can you forward me to the customer/technical support, so that my mathcad 15 license will be transferred to my new computer.   Michael

In Thingworx 9.1,how to format the list widget like dropdown?? Right now it is coming with list of values. The bdropdown should show the list of values only when the user clicks on the list widget. How to do this in twx 9.1.0-b10877.

Hello, I am about to create a parametric model with the geometry relying on text fields that change for different parts of a family. For this I need to either know the dimensions of a text field (height and width) or have the possibility to get points (for changing text fields) on the boarder/edge of the text field. Is there a way to do this? As of what I currently see there is only a way to set/get either the height OR the width (which is the line which the text field is aligned to). The blue circled area on the screenshot shows an example text field where I want to grab a point or a measurement on the outer line surrounding the text (The text is aligned to a vertical line on the left.).  I'm happy for any help! Regards,Lukas

I cant use the Trial-Licence, that i got via email. I installed mathcad on a virtual machine in azure, in Amsterdam.

I tried to install the 30 days trial in my work computer and I get this error massage in the Application Installation:"Some applications failed or cancelled Click information icon of failed applications for details"I want to try the software before my company purchases it but I cant succeed to install Mathcad.What should I do?

Hi, I got some issue that's why I am not able install "creo". I needed "creo installation" for working on quadcopter project. As mentioned in guide, I needed to install this for quadcopter project. In that project, I want to update attribute that's why I needed "creo". So, without "creo installation", is there any option to do this? If anyone knows please help me. Thank you. 

Spending way too much time creating multiple sketches in order to make a compound curve that will get extruded/swept to make a shaped tube, round, wire, etc. Ultimately a drawing is needed to manufacture such "Tube/Round" so geometry has to be clean. I use points to generate curves but that is time consuming just trying to figure out how to make the curve since they never are on a single 2D plane. Creo 8 & 9 basic is being used, no access to advanced surfacing or Rex tools. I am curious how many would approach this and not use external modules like Piping. Example: You have an assembly with various components that need tubing connecting them or round bar. You generate simple sketches within assembly in order to make this path/shape. Ultimately you get mismatched curves and many sketches on various planes only to find out the sweep tool will not generate the form because of various alignments, gaps (some extremely small) and you chase yourself around to fixing them. Dear Sir or Madam,I purchased the Creo Student Premium Edition on 26.07.2022 and sent my certificate of enrollment to ptc.nam@digitalriver.com on the same day . On 29.07.2022 I received the order confirmation with my product code.To my problem:After calling the installation, I was able to generate the license with my received product code. However, in the next step, the application selection is empty and I could not proceed with the installation. I tried it again today and now the error message "You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type" comes up when creating the license.I hope you can help me.Kind regardsRoman Sauer

In my assembly, I want to create holes on top of existing holes so that they refer to each other. However, the existing holes do not have a center line, so "coaxal" dimensioning does not work. So is there a way to create a hole inside of one of these holes by only using their lateral surfaces (as well as the surface upon which I want to put the hole)? An example would look like this (notice that the existing hole does not have a center line):

Hi - I just purchased MCAD Prime 8.0 with a subscription which is locked license.  I want to be able to run MCAD on a 2nd computer occasionally (laptop).  As i understand it there is no HOME USE license provision to allow 1 user to use license on 2 machines. I think these are my options: A)  I can transfer the license fairly quickly i think (once i get my basic PTC account upgraded).  That seems less pleasant as delays in receiving the .dat file would be incurred. B) It seems there is a "floating" license option that uses a Flexnet server running on the local network (preferably).   C) Buy a second license for that 2nd computer. Am I stuck with C?  Is B possible since I have already purchased a locked license (can i convert)? thanks,russ

Hello MathCAD People, I am working on a shaft redesign project, and I start out with trying to plot the deflection of a more simplified model. I write the momentum function in Macaulay’s method and think plotting a deflection curve using odesolve should be a fast way to figure out where the max deflection happens by solving the differential equation and the boundary conditions. However, the plot just ended up with part of the deflection curve and say the ode function has limited range. Can you guys help resolve the error and get Mathcad plot the full cure?I really appreciate if you can guide me through this problem, as I really need a math model to validate my simulation results. Thank you in advance.

I am not able to locate any checkbox in prime as it used to be there in Mathcad 15 to compute for 0/0How can I have this checked? 

Hi Developers, I have created a mashup with all the user input selection widgets. The user selections are put together as an infotable and set into the mashup parameter(which is a bi directional one) of that mashup. Now I'm using the Input mashup inside another mashup through the contained mashup widget. My only problem here is that the mashup parameter from the contained mashup doesn't have the changed event which i need to trigger the data service which consumes the infotable mashup parameter. How do i overcome this? Also i cannot use sesion variables. Regards,Saran

I have a series of about 40 Mathcad files that I must open, calculate, and save in sequence to obtain a final result.  Any change in file inputs for one worksheet in the series, results in having to run the series of files forward again to obtain the new final result.  Is it possible to create a master Mathcad worksheet that will automate the task of opening, calculating, and saving the worksheets in sequence, so I will not have to do this in a manual manner?

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 8.0 (connected) Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.1.0I found CS115015 outlining how to obtain a Piping Fitting library. There are 3 links shown with the instructions to download each link, add it to a single directory and then unzip the first file (.001).After downloading all 3 files, adding them in a single folder there is NO option shown to EXTRACT or Unzip the first file. Windows 11 does NOT recognize the file as a zipped file.I am obviously missing something??

Hi community team,I want to set the limitation of selecting dates on the TWX datepickers within the range of 30 days only. If the selected date’s duration is more than 30 days then the data should not be accessed.Like,  There are two date pickers, In the first date picker (StartDate) I want that the user can select any date (For example user selects the date of 7th June 2022 ) then I want that in the second date picker (EndDate), Only those dates are visible which are next to the 30 days from the start date (For eg: till 5th July 2022) and all the other dates and the year dropdown will be disabled.OrIn the second date picker, it should show only dates till 30 days from the first date picker (Start Date).Is it possible in ThingWorx Date Picker widget to set it for the specified dates only?  ThingWorx Version 9.3.2 @PEHOWE @PaiChung @slangley  @
