Hi.Creo Illustrate 7.0 here. Long story short - Is it possible (in a direct or indirect way) to reuse illustrations for different - alternate - versions of assemblies? What I mean by that - Let's say I have a dozen of top level assemblies of a complicated product, say a car. I have created a set of illustrations (let's say 200) for car No. 1. And it's cool.Now, car No.2 is 80% exactly the same, but just some components are part of different subassemblies, they have a little bit different geometry and parameters (attributes). They may end up in different subassemblies sometimes but in general the structure is very similar. It's just a bit different version to car No.1. Same story goes for 3rd, 4th car and so on. They form a group of products from the same family, but differ in detail. I wish to reuse the set of illustrations I've spent a lot of time polishing for the whole family of cars. The document tree is shown below" .   May I know where can I access the link for ThingWorx C Edge SDK?  Thank you.

Can anyone help with a problem I'm having with with a Given function inside a loop as shown below:The function Fopt is defined previously. The steps work correctly one at time when f1 is not an indexed function but it won't work as shown. Any suggestions?

Hi, I want to set up a drawing template (or would also be happy with a format) where the BOM Balloons pick the numbering for assembly items not from a rpt.index, but a Find Number parameter. In an actual drawing I know how to set this (change rpt.index to asm.mbr.cparam.FINDNUMBER)......but I'd like to have this set already from start when creating the drawings.In a drawing template (.drw) the BOM Balloons tab of Table Properties is greyed out, as there's no model to "balloon". This is my catch 22. I'd like users not having to manually change this in the BOM table for every drawing they create. Does anyone have an idea to achieve this for a template or format? 

I am creating a drawing using a skeleton of a vehicle that I am mounting components to. Is there set show skeleton display to all views at once or do I have to do it each time I create a view?

I'm having trouble returning an array for a term in an equation. I have a spreadsheet that should generate a P-M diagram for a column. It correctly calculates the array of P values, The spreadsheet will return an array of M values, but they are incorrect. When picking the equation for M apart bit by bit, I have found that one term returns a scalar value rather than an array. Preceding calculations for this term correctly return arrays, but this one does not. The term in question in the attached file is c*((ri^2) - y^2). Even when I rewrite the variable c in terms of y, it still returns the same single number. For reference, when y= -11.5, the correct value should be 0, and when y= -11.25, the correct value for the term above should be 18.876 in^3. What am I doing incorrectly? 

A simple equation solved symbolically for an unknown variable returns two results, - as expected.However I know the result lies in the range 0 - 1.If I add an 'assume' modifier to limit the result to the value <1, I get quite an unexpected result.The units are obviously causing all sorts of mayhem.What's going on here?

Hi there,We have some parts/assemblies which have the cylindrical-like shape shown in the pictures below. We then cut the model into a quarter-section model for a reason. For the model creation, we must try two extrude and subtraction functions. We would like to automate these procedures because we have a lot of parts/assemblies. Previously we tried to use a mapkey to record the procedures and resume them, however, the record did not contain which region should be extruded and subtracted thus it does not work so well. The parts/assemblies are the almost same size so it should be fine if we subtract the same volumes from two directions. Hello,   i just created a API class and an endpoint in Java (Using Windchill and Navigate). The endpoint is displayed in Swagger UI, executing it also returns the correct value (just a test string - no inputs for this endpoint)   Now i tried to execute it from my Navigate Thing. i added a new service in ptc windchill integration connector with AddServiceDefinition. Now the service exists and I can import it to my Thing services. But when executing i get this message: No service handler defined for service on thing windchill integration connector.   Does anyone know how to fix this?   best regards

I have an option "A" with choices "A-1", "A-2" and "A-3". The option has "Required" and "Single Choice Selection" both set to "No".The end item structure has a configurable module with module variants "VAR-A0", "VAR-A1", "VAR-A2" and "VAR-A3".I want the configurator to add only the module variant "VAR-A0" to the variant structure when none of the choices are selected. And when one or more of the choices are selected, each of the module variants corresponding to the selected choices should be added.When one or more choices are selected, the configurator works just as expected. But if I don't select any choices, the configurator adds all four module variants to the variant structure. Here are my expressions for the module variants: With this choice selection: I get this result: Is there something wrong with my expression in module variant "VAR-A0"? I have used selection glow when presenting models to others extensively. I have recently started working in Creo 7 and the selection glow turns the entire graphics window white with nothing visible except for the selected object.   Has anyone else noted this behavior? Any known remedy for this?   I am aware that the enable_selection_glow option is hidden and not supported by PTC.   This is what happens when selection glow is enabled and the supporting glow options do not modify this effect. !Selection Glow Settings enable_selection_glow yes glow_blur_radius 12 glow_blur_sigma 6.3 glow_blur_type -1 glow_line_width 6   Without glow enabled: With glow enabled
