I have code to make sure that Roles are filled in before Completing a task.  What I am trying to do is to check multiple roles as being required or not based on workflow variables.  Does anyone have the code for this?   Example (The first two variables are an if this or this): If varible1=outcome1{ Then Role1 must be filled in } if variable2=outcome2{ Then Role1 must be filled in } if  variable3=outcome3{ Then Role2 must be filled in }

Hello everyone,   For the Windchill Heavy User Licenses before, which included the MPMLink and or BOM Transformation feature. In WNC 11.1 on the rehearsal upgrade, these features did not carry over to the PDMLink licenses.   how is that possible?   Achraf,    

Is there a work around instead of Kepware, Clients wanna use the Thingworx, but kepware is too costly to be afforded by the client. Is there a Work around open source where we can get data from OPC UA Modbus TCP Protocol and then send to the Thingworx.   @paic  @slangley @c_lowy Thanks !!

I have a 3-axis Sherline cnc mill to which I've recently added a cnc rotary table.  I want to cut vertical cylindrical holes by positioning the work-piece using the X and Y axis and power rotating the table to cut the cylinders.  I I have to add the 4th axis stepper driver to my self-built controller, and teach myself how to do this; time, lots of time, but I have it. I can add the stuff the post needs for the 4th axis with Gpost. Question is simple. Is this possible?     john ferguson

Hi all,   I'm currently trying to run a quick check on my Mathcad worksheet that populates a "Yes" or "No" to validate whether the section modulus value is above the required one.  When I place the yes and no variables in the program it says they're undefined.  I switched them to the "keyword" label in hopes that would remedy my situation, but unfortunately I have the same issue.  Attached is a snippet of what I currently have in the worksheet.  Please let me know your thoughts.  Thanks!

Hello,   I'm quite new to MathCAD and I'm having problems with a unit somewhere in this BCGA pressure drop calculation. The error is "This value has units: Length^2 . Time^-2, but must have units: Pressure^2.   There is one input in the formula that is unitless (Specific Gravity), I wondered if this was causing the issue.   Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Dear All,I have been trying to understand what configurable links are in windchill. Also I have created subtypes for four configurable links also and created parent child relationship but after that I don't how data is being mapped or connected between wtpart and document.Even after searching for documentation everywhere I could only find a few links which would talk about configurable link but they are no different from PTC Help center. Can somebody please explain what configurable links are in Windchill in layman terms and also provide some links to understand what Configurable links are?

Hi all I am trying to include Mathcad files where I use a variable as a part of the file name. i.e. when I change the variable, the name of the included file changes. I want this for Mathcad 15 and Mathcad prime. Thanks

Hello,    Has any one successfully integrated Multimedia files (.mp4) in files that are created using Arbortext editor (starting 7.x) and published it in PDF/HTML versions?   Even though the release notes say this feature as an enhancement from 7.X and further in Styler 8.1 (for publishing) there is really no Article or Help menu sections that are of real help.   Tech Support is also vague on this topic and they give confusing answers to achieve this.   I'm super confused if this is not an OOTB feature, why does PTC boast this as an enhancement in the release notes without giving any proper update or help for customers on this? There are literally no videos in any of the demos nor courses in PTC University that covers this feature.   Appreciate any help on this and Thanks in advance!

We have an old config file where blended_transparency is set to No. The current Creo default is "Independent". I have no justification for why it was originally set to No, but I'm sure there was a good reason at one time.    From what I can tell, blended_transparency affects the preselection highlighting. When you hover over with blended_transparency set to No, you get a crosshatch sort of highlighting. With blended_transparency set to Yes, you get a nicer looking shaded highlighting. I'm not sure how independent and yes are different.    Does anyone know the difference between the Yes and the Independent setting? Also, how do the options compare for performance? Does having blended_transparency set to No improve preselection highlighting in large assemblies?

While reading the csv files, iam getting only the datas of infotable's datashape. But iam not getting what is written in header. How to read the header of csv file??? 

I downloaded and installed Prime 7.0 and the new converter that is supposed to convert MC15 worksheets to Prime 7.0 worksheets.  The first two MC15 worksheets I converted were claimed to have been converted, but did not work properly in Prime 7.   The more complicated one had a plot which uses a format that may not be supported in Prime 7, but the second file is a mystery. It is an extremely basic worksheet, so basic that it could be argued that I'm wasting the power of MC, but the file does use units. After conversion, the Prime 7 worksheet would not work until I removed and replaced at least some of the units and the PI symbol.   It seems as if the converter is unable to properly recognize and convert unit symbols and PI. If so, this is a massive fail.   Three files are attached. The MC15 file, the Prime 7 file as converted, and the converted Prime 7 file as fixed.   If I am making some stupid mistake, please let me know.
