We are in the process of starting up a new instance of thingworx version 9.2.0.  I need a scheduler to execute at 5am local time (eastern), so the CRON string is set to 9AM UTC.   However, when daylight saving time ends, do I have to manually change the CRON string to 10AM UTC so that it will still execute at 5am local time?  (During the install I set tomcat time zone to UTC as suggested in the install instructions.)

I was wondering why Creo thermal simulate can’t set a temperature as “heat load” and it only allows to set watt or power. The temperature differences calculations are commonly seen in lots of industrial applications.

Hi all i want to interpret a pass/fail criteria based on if the point of intersection is above or below the  x-y axis line i.e. for example this would be classed as a pass where the lines intersect below the loading envelop      thanks Ben  

Dear Community,   Now we have dozens of devices and thingworx collects process data to influxdb through kepware, but we found that the time of all these devices OPC UA is not correct, so the time recorded to the database is not correct, if we go to reset one by one, it will waste a lot of time, so if there is any setting to use thingworx server's current time to record to the database? That is, when kepware data changes, I record the changed value, but the time uses the current time of the system. I think it can be solved by Subscription, but there are very many devices and properties, and it's a waste of time to change them, do you have any good solution? thanks.   Best Regards, Chason

Hi all,  I hope like to do a clean up of my experience server. While i am using the Vuforia View in Mobile/IPAD, i notice a list of project in the library, but it is not loadable. I check the directory of the experience server.: \ptc\studio-es-store\projects, i am not able to find the related project related to the name of the experience in the library.   1.  I read  Article - CS281363, and would like to try curl, i hope to clarify the following: " Project title might not be the same title of the publish experience." when i using the command below.  -X "DELETE" https://<your-domain_name>/ExperienceService/content/projects/<projectname>  How can i identify the correct "projectname" to delete, as i cannot find the "project" folder.   2. Can i view the from the folder in the directory, what title is used for the Title for the experience? 3. If i have the project in the ES, but i am not able to open the project with the Vuforia

Hi!So I'm trying to install Creo 8.0 as a student,, The given product code was accepted and I got the "success!" result. However, I can't finish the installation since the "license server" is not available! Also the file sent by Email was not accepted. What should I do here?? Thanks in advance!  

Hi All， I want to use the model target to identify the devices in the factory and display the data of each device separately. The problem is that some of the devices in the factory have the same model shape, how should I differentiate them? The solution I can think of now is to set different inspection model profiles for devices with the same shape. But for large equipment, this method is very impractical. Is there any other better solution?

I am working on one complex assembly project where in between sequence I need to show the compression of spring followed by forward movement of piston. How to achieve this in creo illustrate without using Creo parametric (Mechanism/Animation- no license).      Thanks in advance  

Dear Community,   I am unable to solve a particular equation having a unknown value. After evaluating it is giving the same variable in answer. Any suggestions how to avoid this?    

The case logger is missing the latest version of Creo Parametric again.  Someone should really figure out how to make this automatic instead of relying on someone remembering to manually update this each time a new release goes public.  Creo 8.0.1.0 was released over a month ago.    

Dear PTC Community,   I have been searching the web and support pages of Creo and I am not able to find any information on the simulation based density in the lattice tool. Having "simulation" selected in the "density" dialog box of the lattice tool, I am able to choose between three data files to open as a reference - a Creo Simulation Study Folder, Creo Simulate Live Data (.csv) and a density variation based on Tabstopps (.txt). Does anyone know:   1. Which files are taken as a reference in the Simulation Study Folder? File endings would be useful. 2. How the 3rd (and for me most interesting) file type (.txt) looks like? How does it need to be structured? Hello,   Hovering over the column separators inside of the Creo model tree creates a context-sensitive dragger, allowing the user to resize the column:     Does anyone know how to enlarge this area so it isn't so frustrating to click?  On a high resolution monitor, clicking an area the size of one pixel can be difficult.   Thanks,Luke

Dear Community!I installed PTC Mathcad Express Prime 7.0.0.0. (30 days full version) 28 days ago. I used this program for my project (it is a 70-page Mathcad document). Yesterday I got PTC Mathcad Prime 5.0.0.0. from my school. Now I have the problem that I can’t open my document which doesn’t include any features from Mathcad 7. Is there any solution for this problem? Good morning everyone, I am experiencing a big problem with my publications after upgrading Vuforia Studio to version 9.2.2 (9.2.2.5162). Specifically, I use the following functions:      tml3dRenderer.setProperties(group_selection[i], {opacity : 0}) and tml3dRenderer.setProperties(group_selection[i], {hidden : false})   to hide/show parts or entire groups of pvz models   The second function with the parameter "hidden: false" is not working anymore. The project is large and the client using the experience is not really satisfied with this malfunction. Can someone help me?

Hello,   Attached is a Mathcad 15 file. It is for incremental/ iterative solution using Newton-Raphson method to trace a nonlinear curve.  I am using another example that has a solution. It is enclosed in the sheet. 1. I am unable to plot the curve resulting from Newton-Raphson. 2. i don't know how to plot the graph "number of Iterations" vs. "Increment"  3. I was evaluating two functions with columns of a matrix. They plotted fine, but when I multiplied them, the result did not (got an error). It eventually dawned on me to convert to index form and that worked fine. Why is this? Example is at the end of the worksheet.
