Hello, quick installation question.   I am installing Thingworx 9.2 for Windows / MSSQL / and I want to know what the main difference / benefit is between the Platform and Foundation Version of Thingworx for MSSQL Most Recent Datecode installation version?   I have downloaded and installed the Platform version and working through the Java / Tomcat / SQL configurations using the PTC guide for manual installation Method, and I am wondering if using the Foundation Installer <ThingWorx-Foundation-Installer-mssql-windows-9-2-1>would simplify the installation?  This is my first time installing Thingworx and wondering if anyone has some tutorials or updated documentation on the process.   Thanks again,

I'm using a Trial version for training, as it contains PTCDefaultProject, which has been encouraging good results in other trainings. However in developer training https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/connect-adafruit-feather/run-arduino-demo in step 3, the tutorial asks to create a Thing called ESP8266, this thing contains abstractions for this microcontroller. In Set-03, apparently a PTC removed this thing from their base, according to the same. I would like guidance on how to proceed, in this situation, if it is possible to download a mod or even the Thing itself to continue the training. Or even if there are other training for the same microcontroller and or ESP32.

Hello,   I exported an .ibl-file for a turbine blade from CFturbo. The file is created and I can see it in the explorer, but I cannot import in Creo. The file is not shown in the import window of Creo. Any help would be much appreciated.

Currently I am able to execute a basic script to open a file, perform data processing, save then close.   For a batch process though, my thought process is to get the directory path filled with the collection of "*.xml" files, iterate over each file path and perform the functions doc_open, <functions to edit file>, doc_save, doc_close.    However as the script iterates over the files it doesn't appear to be making any modications as anticipated, and in the file explorer there is no updated "Date Modified" timestamp confirming that changes have not been made. I get the correct count of xml files stored in the variable $filepaths. When I perform a "message" or "response" command it appears to be the correct $filepath but not certain as it doesn't seem to get modified. the replace function always returns saying "string not found" even though I am certain of the strings existence in the file.   My question is: Where am I going wrong in the logic for ACL Batch File

HI I try to create a thing linked with the Kepware Server ....it was working really well with the trial version but with the license is not working..   i created the industrial connection with Kepware and is working well   I can read all the tags from kepware with the Discover function of the industrial connection I created a thing with the bind function but the new thing still alway disconnected     here the log Im sure that someone can help me ...thank you 🙂  

Hello, Attached is Mathcad 11 file. I also converted it from Mathcad 15 to Prime7(attached).  I did Nonlinear/ iterative solution in a manual way and another one with a small program at bottom of sheet. I have two load increments. In the manual way, it took two iterations per load increment to converge. When I compare the manual way to the little program: 1. Results matched in both methods for the first load increment , where you see green arrow and u=0.635. 2. Results didn't match for the second load increment. Manually, I got (u=1.613) after two iterations , but by the little program I got (u=1.599) where the red arrow is in the sheet ( please scroll down until you see the red arrow). Little program is shown at the bottom of sheet. For some reasons it shows a different number of iteration by the program.   I appreciate any assistance!   Thanks, Sam

Hi Everyone,   Have a hole which I want to make a pattern from (with angle as variable) I want to use pattern table to do the pattern because I want custom entries I can do that with no issue, but I want to make Creo get the data from an external excel file rather than internal protab. That way my boss can easily do part updates just by updating the excel file. Say I want to create 5 holes at 0, 10, 15, 90, 270 degrees as an example. Hi,i want to get the email address from a user inside a trigger script using the Integrity API. I've used mksapiviewer --iplocal im users --fields=email USERNAME to check if there is an output at all and it returned a response including a work item containing the field "Value" where the address is stored. Hi,   At the time of delete a part or assembly from its parent assembly, the creo system automatically asks for children handling whether they need to delet/freeze/suspend . But if parent have 100 child parts then it need to do freeze every time (each part) But we want all child to be freeze/delete/suspend, So my question is can we add freeze all/delete all / suspend all options in popup menu.     Thanks, Prashant Pandarkar

ASME Y14.5M-2009, section 3.3.2 states " . . . Where the same datum feature symbol is repeated to identify the same feature in other locations of a drawing, it need not be identified as reference. . . . . "   However, in Creo 7.0.1 drafting, when I add datum symbol(s) to the same reference in another view, Creo automatically assigns the next letter - and then Creo complains when I edit it to what it should be, and flags the symbol as a 'duplicate' (despite what the ASME spec says)! Is this a know dimensioning deficiency in Creo, or is there a setting someplace to correct this? Or, is there a reasonable workaround?

Hi, My Infotable has around 21 Fields, for an particular situation I need just one Field Results, how can I remove unwanted feilds at a time instead of doing the following coding:   result.RemoveField("X1"); result.RemoveField("X2"); result.RemoveField("X3"); result.RemoveField("X4"); result.RemoveField("X5"); result.RemoveField("X7"); result.RemoveField("X8"); result.RemoveField("X9"); result.RemoveField("X10"); result.RemoveField("X11"); result.RemoveField("X12"); result.RemoveField("X13"); result.RemoveField("X14"); result.RemoveField("X15"); result.RemoveField("X16"); result.RemoveField("X17"); result.RemoveField("X18"); result.RemoveField("X19"); result.RemoveField("X20");   is there a query or any shortcut to remove all the Fields at a time ? @paic @slangley  @c_lowy Thanks,Shashi

(ptc.com) I would very much appreciate it.   I want to make a simplified representation with some hidden parts and don't want these parts appear in my BOM.  I tried to create the simplified representation by rule, but could not find hidden parts. There seem to be no way to choose the "Hidden Items" layer.

I have an assembly model that involves 2 sub-assemblies. When I add automatic BOM table the subassemblies appears in the table, while I need to add a BOM table to the assembly drawing covering all components ( main and sub-assembly).  Can anyone have a solution (BOM of all components and not subassembly names)?

I have a container with 3 graphs one below the other with vertical orientation and responsive. attached image for reference and i am using Thingworx 9.1. When i make the middle graph visible false automatically the graph from the bottom is coming up to the top. How do i set the configuration in such a way that, if i make the middle one visible false, the top and bottom should auto use the space created by the middle one , since its made to visible false.   Thank you.

I have a requirement to bind Downtime Data Table to a Pareto Chart to analyze the Downtime Category. But the values of duration and cumulative line are not get aggregated to a single Downtime Category. I have attached the screenshots for the same where the bar chart values are individual entries and the cumulative line is not sequential for the same category. Kindly guide me to achieving the requirement.
