hi everyone.  I use creo 4 M010 and encounter a problem when creating balloons on drawing by using "Create ballons - by components" menu. in message box is show up "select a region" which is supposedly not like this (I think). images can be seen in attachment. is there somebody have any solution about this problem? please kindly let me know. thank you very much.   -Suan 

Dear MathCAD Prime experts,Currently I have had a problem of opening my work file. I was doing my engineering design of Footing in MathCAD Prime7.0, but I was not get done on work I saved and closed. When I opened the for continuing my work the error message was popped up " The file type is not supported. Log file is located at C:\ProgramData\PTC\Mathcad Prime\Logs\MathcadPrime_Exception20210505_145107.log'' and I could not even open my file, I tried. Have somebody experienced this kind of problem? I would like you somebody else kindly spare your time to have a look at my attached file for making it to be as normal as it can be?I am here for looking forward for your help. Thank you!

I'm really confused here. The command it self sounds really cool, but it is greyed out for me. This link says I have it in Creo 8 : https://www.ptc.com/en/blogs/cad/whats-in-creo8 . Do I need any special license for it?

Hi,   I'm trying to replicate a template that evaluates the shear and moment of a simple beam. The problem is that to W array, I've got the message that n is invalid. The index should be an integer that it is n=3, no less than origin that it is because i have set up origin=1 and no greater than the last element which i don't know if is true. Hello,   I'm using a mashup collection to handle my menu. In the menu mashup I have a value display. Unfortunately when the user click on it a border appears around it. I think this is due to   root : { --ptcs-focus-overlay--border-width: 2px; } How can I avoid that? I'm using ThingWorx 9.1.1-b483

In creo how do you make a part within an assembly a reference part. What I mean by this is I want to put a part in an assembly, but I only want it to be in the model, not the Bill of Materials. So when I export the Bill it doesn't include the part. So it shows up in the model only.

I have a workflow that is used on almost all of our parts.  One of the functions of this workflow is to set the states of the promoted items.  It works correctly a majority of the time.  Sometimes though, it doesn't.  The windchill logs seem to tell me that the workflow is trying to set state on items in a user's workspace which of course it can't.  I don't know why it is even looking at workspaces. Hi everyone, I've created a "thing" with a property named ExpirationDate with a basetype of DateTime.  I the date displaying in an experience. The issue is the date displays as "2021-04-30T21:54:03.225Z".  Is there a way to change the format so the data appears as month/day/year(e.g. 4-30-2021)? Thanks in advance.

Hi everybody,   I am using Mathcad prime 6.0. I have tried to make some calculus of temperature, but it seems that Mathcad has a problem with calculation of temperature. First I tried: 1F+1F=461.67F (it is not 2F!!!), then 2F/1F=1 (it is not 2).    I don't really know if that is a technical bugs of Mathcad Prime? or it is just a bad copy of Prime in my laptop, or Did I miss something?    

I'm on 11.1 m020.  I am trying to set up a change notice to show some users.  Originally the change notice and change activity were not instaniable.  I turned these on.  Now I can create a Notice and a Task, add Affected Objects to the task, but it will not allow for adding Resulting Objects.  Anyone ever run into this?

According to step 4, I need to upload the JDBC driver file in JdbcCreator mashup. (Does this JDBC driver file refers to MySQL-connector-java-8.0.23.jar???)   But I can not upload MySQL-connector-java-8.0.23.jar. When I click the “Upload” button, nothing happened. I didn't see a link displayed below the buttons.    In my case, I want to know if I upload the correct file. If I uploaded the wrong file, what file should I upload in this place? Where can I get this file? If it’s correct, why doesn’t it respond after clicking the upload button? Thanks!

is there a way to convert the odesolve output to a matrix, so that the max and min can be found. apparently the odesolve output is a function. i attached a worksheet. i want to convert t and x to matrices.

Experiencing a 30+ second delay while working in Creo Parametric   Clicking the "open" button on the toolbar causes the delay before the dialog box appears (opening any file from "Recent Files" has no delay) In an assembly, clicking the "Assemble" button from the toolbar causes the delay before the dialog box opens. Clicking the "View Manager" button has the delay before the 'View Manager" dialog box opens. In a drawing, right-click "Sheet Setup" browse for a format causes the delay.   Creo Parametric 7.0.3.0 - Windows 10:  This is a new computer, I don't know if this is a Windows 10 issue or Creo issue.  Previous computer was Windows 7 and Creo 6.   Has anyone had this issue or have suggestions on how to troubleshoot it???
