We have a BOM table that includes a column for Cage Code. Now management has decided we do not need to put the Cage Code in the BOM. Our BOM tables have many filters applied, so replacing the table is not the best way to go. I am building a new BOM table for new drawings, but we have a lot of drawings already created . Is there a way to delete a column from a table?   We are on Creo 4 m080.

Hi,  Value Display has big changes in Thingworx 8.5,  which lead to lots of issues:  1.  The render property cannot set style anymore. (It's a known regression issue of feature lost I think) 2.  It's allowed to set style theme on value display, but:       2.1  The style theme doesn't work in a contained mashup for value display(for example, text color doesn't take effect)      2.2  The style theme must be same in the same mashup (limitation)      2.3  The element in style theme doesn't has value display(limitation) 3.  The base style properties cannot only control the "novalue" property,  if the the value bind to value display to data,  then the style can NOT be controlled.  4. The html of value display introduces "shadow dom" , but the customCss editor doesn't allow to use ^ or ^^ to access the dom from the parent .  I understand of the purpose of shadow dom is to spearat

Hi, I want to fetch the propertyDefinitions of a thingTemplate. I am calling GetMetadata service on the template -  client.invokeService(RelationshipTypes.ThingworxEntityTypes.ThingTemplates, "MyTemplateName", "GetMetadata", new ValueCollection(), DEFAULT_TIMEOUT);  This returns an empty propertyDefinitions infotable. The call works fine for entityType Things.   The rest call - GET <server>/Thingworx/ThingTemplates/MyTemplateName returns all the properties under path "effectiveShape/propertyDefinitions" in the response json.   How can I get the same using java sdk?   Regards, Vaishnavee

Hi Community,   I have a parent mashup with details like name,address,email etc.And I have an edit button which opens a popup near these data to edit the information.So I am using a text field and text area widget.While clicking the button I want the existing name and address to be displayed on the text field so that it becomes easier to edit.Is there any way I can display the existing data in my popup text fields?

Dear Support Team! I have a big problem. I downloading and installed your student version of creo6 and at the beginning, as I just opened the window and made a simple model, all worked. Hi, this is a simple concept but hard to explain. How can I create a drawing view where the background is clipped away? Here's a visual example... If I have this model...   And I create a section view using the front round surface, cutting out the disk. How to get a drawing view, where I am looking at the part from the front so I can see the rectangle and triangle but not the disk? The application is actually a more complex assembly drawing view, I just used a part model as an example.

Hello, When using "Record Content" and moving or modifying multiple selected CAD items, Creo Illustrate automatically groups the animation tracks for two or more items into a sub-folder. Sometimes it is cumbersome to deal with so many sub-folders, and I find myself right clicking each item and moving it to the higher-level folder (for the sequence step).   Is there a way to disable the automatic creation of animation track sub-folders?   Thanks, Wes

Hello,One question came up from a client who is very particular about data processes. I understand that AWS will host the user's contact info and do the enterprise management. For the Chalk sessions themselves, does AWS function as the SIP server? Is there a SIP server somewhere that routes the call between contacts?I need to be able to precisely map where the data contact points are - thanks for understanding and helping. 

I successfully installed CREO parametric 4.0, however when I double click on the creo parametric 4 icon on my desktop, the loading sign appears for a few seconds, then nothing happens and never launches at all. I disable firewall during installation. When I reinstalled it, the problem persist. My graphic cards are: AMD Radeon R5 330 and Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 which are compatible. Neither am I running any VPN network.

What widget is used in replacement of navigate widget  for thingworx 8.5 ?

Hello all,   Is it possible to show one particular coordinate system in one view, and which is not effected by the show/hide CS check box?   I could use layers, but that still does not solve the problem which the show/hide CS check box. Because if someone else wants to print the drawing, they first have to check the CS box to show the correct CS. Otherwise the drawing will not be complete.   This is necessary for a assembly drawing I want to create. With the CS in place, the person viewing the drawing knows how the component is placed in the overall system and in which orientation.

Hello, In CREO 5, I have opened the 'reference viewer' for an assembly.  All the components reporting to the assembly are listed as 'parents' and no components are listed as 'children'.  Is this backwards?  Is the software backwards on this?  Thank you.

0 I've done some research on how to connect thingworx with sql server or postgre to show data on mashup gird. I found out that I need to import MSSQLConnector_Extension but i've spent days to find where to download these jdbc extension but i couldn't find it in ptcmarketplace. Does anyone have an idea where to download it or another way to connect dbserver to thingworx. Thanks alot

I am trying to store data being pulled in from a JSON file into an InfoTable and I keep getting this error with one of my values from the JSON file:     Error executing service create-my-infotable.
