Dear all,   I have observed that once a user unlocks an area which was locked (password protected), and saves the file, the lock status gets changed immediately for ever.    Is there any way I can do something like  --------------- when mathcad sheet is opened, Areas (Area1, Area2, Area3 gets minimised and locked with password "xx123xx")--------------  The ultimate best option would also include that if any Area is unlocked and opened, upon closing, it automatically gets locked again (same password).   Excel VBA has something similar like Private Sub workbook_open()... Is there it's equivalent in Mathcad ?    Your help is much appreciated !   Warm Regards, Aravind          

Hello Developers, We are facing some problems trying to connect the Siemens power monitoring device "PAC3200" with KEPserverEX 6.5, using the Modbus TCP/IP protocol, the basic configuration are done using its manuals (attached) but we still have a Bad Quality in the tags. This is basic configuration for the device:   Device Configuration For the tag: Tag Configuration Just a tag example from the PAC manual:PAC3200 Variable This is a variable that we can use the function code 0x03 and 0x04 (page 40). I tried to use the address 400001, 30001, 300001, disable the zero-based-addressing, modbus-byte-order and nothing works.  Note: I can ping the device with no issues.   Kind Regards.        

I have a textbox, and the text is bound to a validator widget. The validator widget checks to make sure that the input is not null/empty, and if not, it runs a service. Everything works as expected, but the validator only runs when the user clicks off the textbox (I have no enter/submit button).    I want to rework this so that the validator runs without the user clicking off - or, make this automatic some how.    Any thoughts?

Hello everyone, I'm trying to solve a system of partial differential equations corresponding to in-plane vibration of a thin plate in Lame mode. This is one of a papular resonance mode in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) devices. An example of the displacement profile of Lame mode is shown in the attached worksheet.   For the boundary conditions, the plate is fixed at the four corners, so the displacement U(x,y) and V(x,y) along x and y-axes are zero (in some references, also the center is fixed). On the sides, the normal components of stresses are also zero.  Gathering all the boundary conditions, I'm still unable to proceed with "Pdesolve"  routine and get the displacement and natural frequency.   Could anyone make a suggestion for resolving this problem? Is it possible to link a WTPart to another WTPart?  The scenario is for electrical connectors where a plug has its mating socket.    I don't see an out-of-the-box link for that, but I've heard of configurable links. Is that the way to go? Or is there a better way to capture the plug/socket relationship?

Hello everyone!   Testing ADO Service, I encountered the following problem. Having created a new service of SQL-query type I try to make a SELECT — but any of the written options leads to this:     Is the problem in the wrong team or the table is considered generally empty? Judging by the IsConnected property set to true and the screenshot below, ThingWorx sees the tables and columns of my database.    

We have a BOM table that we now have a need to add another column to but this added column will be user entered text. Is this possible?   We have started to identify parts that need to be segregated when stored. We at first added a suffix to the part numbers, but when management realized that this would triple our family table sizes, they asked for an alternate solution. Since the parts themselves could in any or all of 3 states, I thought that we could add a STATE column to the BOM and then manually fill in that cell depending on the part state in that assembly.   If I cannot put the column in the BOM repeat region, my next idea is to add a single column table and place it in front of the BOM table and have the users fill in those cells as needed.

Hi,   Can anyone guide to the options available in Repeat Region?   I want BOM where all the PARTS should be in BOM and not a single Assembly. Also want all components of the sub-assemblies of top-level assembly.   I know the option of "recursive" and "filter"   But i want that Table.tbl file to be saved for future uses.   Right now when i am saving the table file after applying all settings like recursive and filter by rule "&asm.mbr.type==PART*   Next time when i use that table file. It only shows the PARTS of Top level assembly. And all sub-assemblies along with it parts get filtered out. So every time i have to work with BOM for the same.   And everytime to identify the PART/ASSEMBLY i have to again add 1 column of &asm.mbr.type (Unwanted) and then i start to set default all settings to BOM and again have to apply the settings.   Can anybody help here?  

Hello, everyone!   This question is quite simple: From an AR experience (Vuforia), I want to change a Thing property (in Thingworx) only if a condition is attended. The problem is I have no idea about how the syntax is.   For example:   In Vuforia Studio > Home.js:    if(waterTemperature == 50) { ... [change a thing property from false to true]; ... }   I assume it would be something like "$scope.thing[ThingName].propertyvalue = true", right?   Thanks!! 🙂

Hi friends,   I'm trying to simulate the geometry change for the burning of a perforated cylindrical shape (solid fuel inside a rocket motor) that burns from inside and both sides. I want to recede the thickness with 1 mm until the cylinder completely burned. How can I change the dimensions automatically and obtain the surface area of the new geometry at each burn step, then how to plot these areas with the new thicknesses of the cylinder, or export the results to Excel? I know there is a way by using relation (make the dimension function of the thickness), creating a family table for that automatically generate the new model shapes, saving the surface areas for each new shape, and plotting the areas as a function of each thickness. I tried to do that by myself but I failed.   I really appreciate any kind of help as I have to complete a Ph.D. paper according to this geometrical analysis and the submission date is on the 31st of July. Hello,   I'm running the free trial version for vuforia studio and very new to the mobile app. I am experimenting and wanting to display a CAD model on a QR code that I already have. Would this be possible for me to setup and if so how do I go about doing it? Any pointers or help if I am able to use this example of the QR code I have already or is it not possible?   (Not sure why it flipped sideways sorry)  

Does someone know the (JSON-)format of the Data-field of the Data Grid - Widget. I want to use it without an Thingworxs-Service.   At the moment I'm using the ionic-popups' template-field for showing a table in it. There it's possible to put html-code into.Is there another way to use html-code? Some widget?

I have created function in mathcad 15 and I get an error message. I have checked all arguments, non of them is matrix or vector, just variable with single number. Maybe I am not allowed to define the same variable in the same function as I have done with Ie2_hs?   Thank you in advance for any help and advice. I will attach mathcad file next time if needed.

Hi!   I have a service of SQL-query type, which selects all the data from the table of my Access database. If after From I specify the name of the table, the result is correct. But if I use the input parameter (SCP on the screenshot), in which I enter the same table name when executing the service, the result of operation is Null. What could be the reason?
