Hello, Can anyone tell me how to rotate 3D model in any degree and any angle? I am able to rotate model in 1 direction but i want to rotate model like a ball.

I am in school and trying to work through this example in the book. It all works out except the Theoretical Flow Rate which the book specifies as 15.3 GPM. From a little research I believe the issue is with how MathCad defines rpm but I can not figure it out.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, Frank

How TW Analytics could be used for finding dependancies / correleations between fields in a dataset. I.e. for the dataset on the screenshot below I would expect to get insights like   If x2=3 then x1 is guaranteed to be 7 If x5=3 and x4!=2 then x1 is rather likely (80%) to be 8 If x1=6 then x3 is most likely (~85%) to be 7 and so on   The first approach that came to my mind is that this is basically a categorical (ordinal?) data, but currently handling it in TWA is only possible using custom code / mashups etc   So then I thought about adding another boolean column, say, 'target' and set it to '1' for a given value of a field (say, for x1=8) and then dropping the x1 field from the dataset.   This kind of works, but requires a bit of overhead activities.   Do I understand the things right? Am I missing some other approaches?  

I'm investigating the use of the WGM with Inventor.The Inventor files carry a number of custom parameters of which some have a parameter name that contains a blank space, e.g. 'Treatment process"Problem now is how to define a Windchill attribute (in version 10.2) so I can capture the value of this parameter.Any parameter that has a name which does not carry a special character and so complies to the rules of Windchill attribute definition can be captured easily (either implicitly or explicitly).

hello   i have been using dimension pattern, where in, i have given the increment value for center to center distance as 4.  i need the distance to keep reducing by 0.1 for every instance , like  c-c for my first instance is 4 , 2nd should be 3.9 , 3rd is 3.8 .. and so on ..  how can i achieve this using relation ...    is there any command like "do while", "for" that can be used in creo ...  Thanks in advance.

We are using Windchill 10.2 M030.I need to know how to retrieve the "promoted from state" for promotion targets/objects in a promotion request. Hello everyone, we changed or document workflow. Now I want to delete some of the labels which were automatically set by trigger "MKS.ALM: Segment State". For each state defined in MKS.RQ.BaselineLabelStates a label in the form "Baseline: Published" is set, when document comes into that state.   I tried to deleted such a label, but I get the following error message: MKS124803: Internal error detected: Exception was: java.lang.NullPointerException   Is it possible to delete these label afterwards?   Thanks Timo

We generally have our Windchill File Name equal the Number including the file extension for CAD files. Sometimes the file extension gets left off by users when being renamed (it probably gets left off on both fields but the File Name will add the file extension automatically). This can cause some minor name conflicts if drawings and parts/assemblies have the same base names (TEST.drw and TEST.prt but both objects cannot be TEST without the file extension). Is there a way to automatically adding the file extension on the Number like the File Name does or prevent users from leaving off the file extension on the Number? We're on Windchill 10.1 currently.

Hi, I wanted to make a label inside a panel to be marquee and moving to left. I wrote a simple css using keyframe rule but it doesn't work.   @keyframes marquee { 0% { left: 0; } 100% { left: -100%; }} .testLabel .widget-Label { animation: marquee 5s linear infinite;} testLabel is my Label name. Hello, Is it possible to add/set multiple category to same property or service? When we define a property in a Thing, there is a provision also to add a Category (which is helpful in organising and searching), so I would like to know if I can put a property/service in multiple category? If yes, then how? To better understand what I mean please refer the attached screen shot. So in the screen shot I have 2 properties, property t1 has (better to say, I tried to put) category as POLLED, PLOTTABLE while t2 has category as POLLED. What I would want is when I call the service (generic service) 'GetPropertyDefinitions' with category parameter as POLLED, I should get both t1 and t2 (right now I am only getting t2) and when I call the same service with category parameter as PLOTTABLE, I should get only t1 (right now I am getting nothing). Hello,   I'm starting to look to j link programming. I have made a lot of searches across internet, and looking to the sample files, and I must admit, that i'm a bit lost. I have several questions about it. First have read that it's a language quite limited in CREO, it only has around 40% of creo's capabilities. So my question is, what is possible to do with Jlink and creo. Another question, is where can we make the programs and debugging? last but no least, where I can find some demos, or books, or some material to learn it?   Much appreciated by your help

Hello Team, I am trying to implement a solution that has 2 branches : Branch 1 : publish sensor data through simulated devices on node red to Thingworx iot platform using mqtt protocol Branch 2 : create web application in nodejs that subscriber to these messages using mqtt   The only problem i am facing is that , from my understanding of all the threads on this community, thingworx does not provide any mqtt broker for mqtt connectivity. It only provides an mqtt client like eclipse paho and we need to integrate the mqtt extension with our own mqtt broker: that can be AWS, Azure or Mosquitto and so on.   Kindly confirm and suggest otherwise   Thanks, Aarushi

I am trying to use Thingworx git extension. I used this guide: https://app-direct-www-cloudfront.s3.amazonaws.com/downloads/196081/Git_Backup_Extension_User_Guide_1.3.1.pdf   I had everything setup successfully based on the guide.    I got a problem when I tried to import entities using the Source Control Entities from Import menu:  Error executing API request message, sending error response to caller!   At the log, I got info message before the error message saying: Successfully added for import "file name"    Can  you please help!

I`m going trough  valuestream entries and filtering them and saving to infotable in a service. Basicaly im totalling values between hour A to hour B on each day for a week.   Problem is I get error when i use: Totall+= StreamValue;   Im getting error: "Wrapped org.json.JSONException: JSON does not allow non-finite numbers. We're looking for develop a predicition for a brake prototype. We found this video of PTC (from minute 3):   From 3th minute you can see the use of ThingPredictor to display the time of failure. Our question would be how to develop such a prediction, to say in how many days an error will occur or it will fail out. Are there any guides to that specified pump serve video/usecase or how can we get some support in this topic? Yours sincerely
