I encountered a problem "The value must be a real number" when I try to plot a graph. Please help me figure out the problem. I use Mathcad Express Prime and I have attached the file. 

During testing of our Application post ThingWorx upgrade from 9.3.8 to 9.6.1 it is found that a custom theme which does not had any visibility permission setting in 9.3.8 was not getting applied to the Mashup in runtime for the non-admin users.After adding Composer Organization in visibility permission for the style theme, it is getting applied and the UI is rendering properly. We wanted to know the reason behind this. Is there any change done with respect to permission.

I have a question about variable definitions in programming. I have a program with two nested while loops. The second (nested) while loop balances forces in a structure. The first while loop updates a variable DeltaT until some additional criteria is met. DeltaT needs to update in the second (nested) while loop for the program to work. However, the updated value of DeltaT from the first loop is not being passed to the second loop. Why is this, and what can I do to fix the problem? Program is on page 8 of attached spreadsheet. Check and Check 3 demonstrate that the variable is not updating in the nested loop.

We’ll have about 15 users and no Active Directory—this server is dedicated solely to Windchill.Could you recommend:1. Can there be circular dependencies among rules in Windchill or Creo.Example: If rule R0: if A>5 THEN B=4 and rule R1: if B<5 THEN A=4 is an example of circular dependency. It implies that it can be hard to evaluate the order in which rules should be executed and, also, that we may have oscillating values and rule execution that never ends. The rules in Windchill are not SQL Procedures, but stored in SQL tables and exportable to various formats, for example, XML. For example: To define your own rules, you apparently have to write such beasts yourself and then load them using. An example of the subpart to constrain an attribute is:  Where com.ptc.Waiver must be in the range 10..100. We are trying to get a grip on how circular dependencies are, or are not, allowed nd managed when working with rules and constraints in WC and Creo.

Hello everyone,I've been working as a working student with Creo for quite some time now, so I decided to use it for a university project. Therefore, I downloaded the Creo Parametric Student 10.0 version and I'm on the verge of despair because I can't seem to find or insert a drawing template frame.Unfortunately, the download didn't come with any frames or title blocks, and after intensive internet research, I still couldn't find any. I've already gone through all the relevant posts here as well.Can someone help me and provide an A2 or A3 frame for this version? I've already manually created the title block according to ISO standards, but I can't find the exact data for creating the frame with letters, etc.I would be extremely grateful for any help!!!

Hello PTC community,I'm trying to simulate the stress that results at the mounting points when an object is suspended by a crane using only two points. The stress is caused solely by gravity.I tried to simulate this by rigidly constraining the mounting points of the object, but I'm concerned that the simulated stresses will be significantly lower than in reality due to the rigid constraint.The center of gravity (COG) of the object is naturally located directly below the mounting points. Would it be better to ditch the gravitational load and instead apply a calculated force (F = m·g) directly to the bolt holes? If so, how should I constrain the model? Nothing seems to be working for me. I have attached a simplified sketch of the problem. Thanks for your help!

I have thingworx ThingWorx 9.6.2-b447 (PTC cloud hosted) I have a mashup#0 with a mashupcontainer widget set it to open mashup#1. All is fineI also have a button on mashup#0 to trigger the refresh of the mashupcontainer (clicked action linked to Refresh) ... because I want to reload the cotained mashup#1 By pushing the button, the refresh of mashup#1 seems to not happen.Just mashup variable passes through mashupcontainer, but the refresh action is not done ...What I'm doing wrong ?

I am working with a C++ Toolkit program on Creo 10.0.5.0 that recursively searches through an assembly's parameters. The problem I am facing is when it runs into family table parts. When I attempt to retrieve the component features from a family table instance it only ever returns the components from the generic.So then when the code attempts to recurse on certain parts in the family table generic it fails because those aren't in the instance and therefor not in session. I have confirmed that the assembly I am reading parts from is the instance as GetFullName() returns filename<filename> corresponding with the instance.

Hello, I'm trying to create a pattern of slots where the center of the radius of the slot follows a curve but the spacing is driven by a linear dimension. Using Creo 10. Tried using pattern along a curve but the spacing distance is along the curve not linear. Unchecking the "Follow Curve Direction" allows the slots to remain parallel. Any suggestions? Thank you,Shane

This would include help tutorial pages on how to do common business specific tasks, using business specific language. The idea of this is to reduce the amount of time it takes to bring new users up to speed, and to reduce the amount of time spent supporting users on tasks that they don't do very often. We want to make it easy to access this wiki by including a link to it from the Windchill help menu.Description: The question I have is "how do I customise this menu to add the extra link?". Up to now we've customised the header to include the link, but it would appear that option is being removed in the future, now the ability to add banners in the UI has been added, presumably for SAAS customers. Is it possible to control the increment when using 3D Dragger to drag the section during creating Cross Section or to have a toggle in offset value area to increase or decrease the value for example by 0.5 or 1.

We currently have 5 modbus suite kepwareEX6.x licenses and i need 3 of those switched to Allen Bradley Suite Licenses.  With software support, can the license suite be switched to AB for the 3 modbus suite licenses?
