Hello, I need help or some recommendations. Creo is testing me once again and I am almost giving up. I would like to design a stranded wire over a curve. I tried myself but it was too complex and not as smart as your solutions. So I wanted to try the solution from this topic: Help modeling a stent - PTC CommunityI also found this: How to create Twisted wires - PTC CommunityThe second link is more suitable for what I need so I tried the trajpar function but it did not went as well as in the topic. I drew the curve in one plane. After this I sketched a circle on an angled centerline going through the start point, then I defined the angle dimension using a relation in sketcher - like it was written in the topic but it seems as it cannot be that "easy". Could you maybe tell me, what I did wrong or where my mistake is? I have verified that the service is returning 24 rows of data, but when viewing the mashup, only 4 rows display. Oddly enough, even in the mashup designer, inside the grid widget, it shows all of the data coming in correctly. Has this problem been seen before? I even tried creating a new mashup and new grid and re-binding everything. It is the same result. Clearly, the Chrome dev tools network tab shows 24 rows being returned, but only the last 4 are displayed in the grid for some reason.

Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: I created a workspace for a new project and I opened an assembly in Creo (version 9) which was locally stored and saved as an assembly in a workspace in windchill. Then I created two drawings for two of the parts in the assembly and tried to check in my work.Description: When I want to check in my work and create an ECN for the drawings, the check in button is missing. The check out and undo check out button is there. Not sure why this happens now, since I've done it before. The same problem exists in other workspaces. The parts I recently saved are marked with the symbol "modifications need to be uploaded" I have tried uploading the local files and made sure they are located in a folder in the workspace. But I still dont have the check in button.  My colleagues cant see the parts i've saved in the workspace. I cant see it either when I open windchill online and try to create an ECN. They don't have the same issue with their own wor

I have run into this "Bad_Solve_Body" unknown error in my first solve block in the attached.Just to make sure that I can indeed construct solve blocks correctly, I tried a second solve block, and all looks well. Could you please take a look at the first solve block and let me know what could be wrong?I use Mathcad Prime 10.0.1.0. Thanks much.Joseph Thodiyil

Heyooo, I needed to create a datum plane that was angled in a specific way, then offset from that angle. Usually this would take two plane features in my tree, one to angle a plane, then another to offset that plane. However I fat fingered my keyboard and while in the first step to set the angle, I entered an offset function. This gave me two planes the way I needed them, but under one feature in my tree. Does anyone know how this is done?

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: During the Windchill upgrade, we want to restrict the general user base from accessing the Windchill UI to prevent any unwanted changes.Description: We are upgrading to Windchill 13, and now that we are using Active Directory with Single Sign on, I am wondering what others are doing to restrict access to the UI to only an Admin group during the upgrade process?We are already filtering AD with a specific group to provide access to Windchill.Is it possible to add an additional filter without causing all the users to become disconnected?The only solution PTC had to offer was restricting UI access to only the server on which Windchill is installed.  This will hamper our upgrade as we would only be able to have one Admin at a time logged into the UI to perform specific activities, and we would need to hold off on any of our accounts that connect to 3rd party apps until the end. Looking for alternate ideas if possible.  I have to imaging

I want to design a file storage feature using a repository to store user-uploaded files (PDF and PPTX formats).When a user selects a file and clicks the upload button, the file should be saved into the repository. After the upload, the stored files should be displayed in a grid table within the Mashup. How can I implement TW? kindly give me a end to end example.  i am using TW version 

I am using the datalogger in KEPServerEx 6.16 to store "frames" of data to SQL. Things like recipes and test results, where I have a single set of data that I want inserted all at once. I have  a way set up that works pretty well. I stage the data to be sent in a buffer in the plc, set the datalog trigger to start and stop on a specific tag and to log all items on starts, and when the data is ready, I activate that trigger and read back the msg_count incrementing as an acknowledge it was sent to reset the trigger and stage the next data. I found that every once in a while, I would get a null or double entry in my database doing this method. I did some experimenting, and what I believe is the cause is occasionally the trigger would be read before all the data had. The trigger is set to update every second while the log data is only every 100ms, so in theory that shouldn't happen. I seemed to have fixed it for now by simply adding a timer delay between staging the dat

We are looking to manage all kepware tags from a central server. Once testing is done, we currently need to export and import these tags into 14 other servers that have Kepware installed. This is tedious and prone to error.   I know I could copy the project file from the central server and copy to the remote servers, but this would entail taking down the Kepware service copying the file and then restarting the service.  I'd prefer to not have to do this.  Is anyone familiar with a tool/program that will compare/sync all Channels/PLCs/TagGroups/Tags between two servers and perform the update without having to take down the services?

I am using Creo 10. I have a number of udfs meant for Hydraulic Manifold Block design ease. It is all independant udfs. I had started developing them from about 2005. It includes BSP/NPT ports, angle holes, holes within holes, cartridge cavities etc. It comes out with its own 3D note which can be pulled into the 2D drawings, thus ensuring data transmissibility. Hole tables are also creatable, with hole coordinates in each plane being measured from the centre of the block. But this can be changed, if one so desires. If anyone is interested in using them, please ping me.A note to the moderator:I am a retired Hydraulic designer (32 years). I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.0.0I create counterbored holes using the hole feature in my model. When I create my 2D drawing, I create a hole table. The table will give me the through diameter of the hole, but I can't get it to show the counter bore diameter, or the counter bore depth. How do you add the counter bore diameter and depth?
