I’ve been searching for days and cannot find a solution. Mathcad Prime 11, Windows 10 (and 11 on another machine), MS365 current version fully licensed. I can usually insert an excel component into my worksheet. Any worksheet; new, old, etc. As soon as I create an input or output variable, the border around the component turns red and at the bottom I read an “Excel is busy…” error. Sometimes I get that error while trying to insert the component and it would let me do it. I’ve read all over that people are having this problem on various versions of Excel, Mathcad, Windows. None of the posted solutions seem to work for anyone, and none have worked for me. I believe way back when I was using Mathcad 15 this feature worked perfectly. Now it seems to be a problem that, although widespread, PTC says they cannot reproduce it on their systems. I find this hard to believe. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I created a table in Mathcad 8.0 by copy and pasting raw data (red outline in attached image) from Excel to Mathcad.  Now that I have the table created in Mathcad (blue outline in attached image), I want to overwrite it with new data (orange outline in attached image).  For whatever reason, copy and paste of the orange data does not seem to work when I try to paste into the blue outline.  What am I doing wrong?  I have tried to clear the cells in Mathcad first, to no avail.

hi All  i want to write a simple code which exports an active model into a step file.  nevertheless, i do not fully understand how the ExportIntf3D works. is there somewhere an example where i can check? i think its no big deal for someone who knows what he is doing 😄

I have had running Windows 10 and Creo 11.0.3.0.After I have upgrading Windows to 11, Ansys in Creo will not start. Creo stops with a fatal error. If I start Creo as an administrator, if runs with out problems. Does any of you know the problem, and that is it I shall have rights to? Allan

Hey there,Can anybody confirm that, is there any availibility of coding of any type in Mathcad Prime 7? (PS: I`m currently using Mathcad 11 and I have a client that uses Prime  and raised this question. As I`m not entirely sure if it, I would require one of your assistance. It`s not about 'Advance Input/Output commands' coding. Hi, When I go to the Live Simulation tab in Creo, I'm prompted to check the Floating Licenses in the File>Options menu, because the "license request failed." Is this feature included with the version I'm using? EDIT: After writing the message, I see I got an email titled "PTC License Pack". How do I use the file? I want to move my Mathcad Prime 3.0 license from one machine to another. I have the Service Contract Number (SCN), but not the product code required to proceed. Can I retrieve the product code from the SCN?

Hi, i want to make a mash-up using drop down and numeric entry. I have three numeric entry for my 3 columns in my data table. And I also have 1 drop down list for selecting which rows this numeric entries will fill. I am using addorupdatedatatableentries services. The thing is my drop down is not connecting to the numeric entry and my addorupdatedatatableentris services.I choose on of my area_id in drop down, and input my 3 numeric entries. when when I executed the service using my mashup. My data table is not updating, instead It created a new row using "1" as area_idea. I attached my dropdown list, numeric entry, and button bindings.How to make my selected drop down list as updated area_id for my data table?

Electrical engneering uses RMS(Root Mean Square) values for the signal wave forms. I've consistently had this problem in Creo with curve patterns. You can see in the pictures that I have several sketches (3, 4, and 5) made to represent the horizontal curve of my bolting perimeter (shown by the rectangle). I'm doing this to control the bolt perimeter's major dimensions (length and width) but have the bolt hole pattern equally spaced along each side. I don't care about the hole center to center, I only care that they're equally spaced. The intuitive approach is to make a sketch with a projection of one of the rectangle sides as I've done with sketch 3. I then use a curve pattern to generate the instances, but to my dismay the start point is at the opposite end to where I made the original hole and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the start point. The inability to change the start point is very surprising considering most other features (sweep, datum point along curve) have the option to change start points. I'm writing a journal article and importing lots of MathCAD equations into Word (.  There's three ways to show a MathCAD equation, colon, control-equals or equals.  Only the equals key gives me a publishable equals sign (colon gives a colon-equals, shift-colon a bold equals)., but I can't use the equals key to show variables on both sides without one of the variables turning red ("This variable is undefined"), or if defined, other problems. Any ideas? ...Larry

We want to assign the object name 'TAFE_S325.5_46HP' to attribute values. We have 3 attributes: 'customer', 'emission', and 'engine'. We assign 'TAFE' to 'customer', 'S325.5' to 'emission', and '46HP' to 'engine' without underscores in the object name.

thingworx 9.6I use ptcsgrid on many mashupI want that when I select a row, by using the keyboard up-down arrow keys  it will move up down the selected row directly.Instead it will leave the selected row unchanged (I see the background) and by arrow keys it will mark a different cell, and only pressing spacebar it will update the selected row to the selected cell. Is there a way to change this behavoiur ?The most of the times it's required to just scroll up-down the selected row with arrow keys The old widget dhxgrid was running fine on this !

I am using a ptcsgrid in one of my mashups and i am currently facing an issue where when the user tried to scroll through the grid the vertical scrollbar start jumping up and down like it's glitching, unable to identify the rootcause for this problem. This issue generally happens when the screen is re-sized (tab dimensions are changes or zoom level increased to more that 100%.Using ThingWorx 9.4.3-b523

Hi, I am trying to make a calculation sheet however i have unit problems since mathcad doesn't seem to work correctly. First is calculating parallel resistance gives a weird result but can manually be corrected.  For example RPV should come as ohms then further down Ilimh*RPV should clearly come as volts.....
